  1. Hehehe~ Im excited! I am grateful for your assessment of my character. I had a daunting feeling that her profile was a little convoluted or messy. None the less, thank you!
  2. Lol, looks like it has already been done. Never mind then, y'all.
  3. @ Dessa: Hell yes Earthbound soundtrack!! @EoLPinkie: Your tongue is actually the strongest muscle in your body compared to it's size. Thus if your whole body was made of tongues you would be really strong.
  4. Anybody notice how much awesome pony based electronic music you can find all over the internet? Thought we could try to wrangle some of the best up here to make a playlist ^^ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yfx60Y3T-NM These two I cannot stop listening to.

Motivation: Wants to Live a comfortable life, easy work and lots of time for her friends, her garden and leisure. Likes: Flowers, tea, most plants, the colour blue, classical music, dancing (when nobody is looking), fresh air, rainy days and citrus fruit. Dislikes: Pollution, Rap, the colour red, running, being underground, really hot days, spicy food and crowded places. CharacterSummary: Vanilla is a girl who grew up with a passion for things that grow, not unlike a hobbit. Though she lived in a residential area with no more flowers than what you would find in a pot or a windows box in the yards of her neighbors. Regardless she could always be found tending to them whether or not they belonged to her. She had few, albeit close, friends all throughout her life. Se prefers to nurture her relationships as though they were a plant in her garden, keeping her friends close to her heart and doing her best to make them happy.. Her parents were rather detached and un-involved in her life and interests and this made her heavily dependent on her gardening to express herself and to find compassion. Yes, she would talk to them, her little growing green friends that would always listen and never judge. It is not that her parents did not love her, they worked hard to give her a good life and proper schooling so she may succeed. They were both just off in their own world. Her mother was a doctor and her father a bit of a.. well.. he preferred to be called an aspiring writer as he spent most to all of his time either cleaning or sitting blankly in front of quill and paper. He did get a couple minor works published... eventually. Spending so much time with plants and flowers, all of her fiends expected her to get a gardening cutie mark or possibly farming, looking every day to see a green symbol to contrast against her bright coat. Vanilla would participate in a local gardener's competition every year, trying to grow the nicest bed of flowers in-front of her home; the competition was judged by the mayor which she found rather intimidating. So each year she would pour her heart into the competition and each year she would get a "good job or a "well done" but nothing more, she was no competition for the fully grown mares who had been doing this all their lives so she decided to do something different. This peticular year she made her garden out of the most interesting and delicious smelling herbs that she knew of and made a wonderful garden both in sight and smell. She still remembers that day "I think you take first prize this year" the words filled her with untold joy, she had finally proven herself as not only a real gardener but a talented one at that! The next day a passing pony remarked about the discoloured patch on her flank, unsure about what he was refering to she looked back, a swirling white image of petals had appeared on her side seemingly overnight.. or maybe the day before. This mark was really hard to see from a distance as it was almost the colour of her coat. She recognized them as vanilla petals, "oh my" was her only response before galloping home. This cutie mark was an amazing, albeit corny, coincidence. To this day ponies assume she had her name changed afterwards to match her cutie mark; she know to the contrary that she was named after the fact that in her early childhood her coat was a vanilla white and had changed tint only slightly since then. As she sprouted into an intellectual young filly she started pouring more and more of her time into books, most to all of these were about her plants and their use in different careers like cooking and potion making. She did not want to work as a chef or an alchemist but loved the idea of all the different ingredients and knowing how they worked. Her parents pushed her toward working in potion making knowing there was money to be made there but she had a different goal in mind, she wanted to be the behind-the-scenes-pony that grew and processed the ingredients selling them to chefs and potion makers to be used in wonderful ways. Vanilla was always a timid pony and a frail one at that and these are her major flaw. Delicate like a flower and too quiet to ask for help, she often struggles in situations and has not the courage to ask for assistance. Luckily she is farming plants/flowers and not something like rocks. She may be very knowledgeable in her field but she is not an open know-it-all. She will hesitate to correct someone even if they are blatantly incorrect, in one case she almost allowed a traveler to eat a poisonous mushroom before she worked up the courage to open her mouth(just as they were opening theirs.). Though she is not always timid, only around new faces or in crowded places. Her personality is a bit of a mix depending on who she is with. In a calm environment with friends she will be energetic and talkative. When around unknown company or in a crowd she will be quiet and shy, keeping her head low to avoid confrontation. She may be uncomfortable around most new acquaintances for the first while but will warm up to them... eventually. When she is comfortable she tends to stand very close to people when she speaks to them, she is known for accidentally bumping into friends as she walks too close by their side. Vanilla enjoys making others happy almost as much as she loves tending her garden. She will selflessly work to make her friends happy, however few they may be. She still talks to her plants but claims it is to help them grow... though the conversations can last a very long time or even get a little bit emotional, she really does for the same reason she did as a child. She really just wants someone she trusts to keep her company.
  6. Thank you for the welcome! @Syel: My best friend has a triforce tattoo and I didnt want to copy her so I decided to pick one of the three tribes; seeing as I have always loved the kokiri and I associate with them best (especially the never growing up thing)
  7. Welcome, welcome. I too am new around here. Here's hoping we both can find what we are looking for here.
  8. Greetings and thank you in advance for accepting me into your community. My name Is really not that important, you can call me Vanilla. I am here for my love of the whole MLP universe, both vast and wondrous it is infinitely entertaining. I enjoy writing a lot in my spare time, I read a lot as well. Novels, poetry ect... I also enjoy writing RP's, short stories and Poetry. I found this website while tirelessly looking for an active pony RP group. I play a lot of videogames but mostly find myself re-playing the games of my youth; I am most nostalgic about the Legend of Zelda series, of which my favorite is Majora's mask. Aside from MLP I enjoy Adventure time, Pokemon, some anime and any movie with Johnny Depp. I am gender ambiguous so refrain from guessing or asking which one I identify with, you may refer to me as he or she depending on how you is feel appropriate. My musical interests are mostly in the field of electronic music. Be it anything from techno to trance to dubstep and everything between I have a tattoo on my shoulder of the Kokiri symbol from legend of zelda and both my ear lobes pierced.I am 18 years old, and reside in Canada. Thank you for your time.
