We can also guesstimate at the height of ponies using this image
The average height of an adult cow is between 5 and 6 feet at the shoulder, which is about level with the head. Being that Celestia is about twice as tall as a normal pony(maybe 1.6-8), I would guess that the cows are around the 5 foot mark. I would say that the ponies are between 3.5-4 feet tall.
Unfortunately this is as close as I can get without doing more than basic guesstimation geometry at 6 in the morning. Feel free to correct and ridicule my math.
Of course this could also be terribly wrong due to the cows being cartoonized and not much like real cows at all.

At the bottom left corner of the page, there should be a button labeled "change theme". It should offer Canterlot mobile. It has limited functionality, but it should be easier on your phone.

Monsieur Bugmaster, could you do me a favor? I request an identification and spotlight on this little blighter. It eats all my pomegranates, and I have never seen it anywhere else in my area, just my pomegranate tree.
I apologize for the out of focus image, but my phone camera is a herpaderp and cant seem to autofocus properly.
All I can tell you is that its about 1 inch long, maybe shorter, and uses a proboscis to pierce the pomegranate.

Thank you! That is a very high compliment! When originally pulling colors for designing the application, I used the digital hex codes for Pinkie's canon coloring -- which against white background with text can be a bit of an eye strain. I only use colored text for dialogue when roleplaying, but I will most certainly make sure it is readable and pleasing to the other players.
This was a really fun app to read! Also, for the dialogue colors, might I suggest using the hex for her mane? It's still a pinkie color, and its dark enough that it should be easier on the eyes.

Metroid was trying to apologize to megaponyman when suddenly team rocket appeared! And metal man! Metroid was going to shoot a mega-rocket at them but suddenly, like a choir of destructions, ALPHA FLIGHT and RUSH and DEADLY SNAKES appeared! THey were wearing very tight clothing, and waving around a doll of wolverine! And it was being very rude! They started speaking, but metroid wasnt listening, because megaponyman was hiding all the chocolate and metroid wanted it. Then they started raising undead!
"Oh no!", said metroid! "My laser doesnt work on zombies! What will we do megaponyman? How will we stop these evil bad guys? They are drinking and have katanas and are playing terrible music and are ponies! " Metroid cried
Then metroid realized that he was a pony too, and he was now walking on his laser and scratching up its shiny paintjob.

Out of nowhere, BAM! A hat shaped spaceship crashed into the ground and was smoldering and out came a orange pony. THis pony was Metroid, killer of metal dragons and space pirates and brains. He looked around and saw megaponyman being covered in chocolate and tries to eate him, metroid looves chocolate.
"Can I join your team to stop this dr willy? I am very qualified at stopping bad guys from finishing their evil plans" said metroid.
Metroid usually works alone but will make an exception just this once because megaponyman is awesome and metroid likes helping.
Metroid then saw that deadpool was accusing discord of being a witch, which made no sense, he had no broomstick or pointy hat!

I would do as rosewind said, and destroy it. Even using a time machine to do little things, like meet famous people, or see historic events, or even just to buy something, could drastically change the future. If time travel exists, and has been used, how would we know? Changes would happen, could happen, and we would be none the wiser, which is kind of creepy to think about. There's also the possibility of multiple timelines, among other things. Messing with the order of things is a very unwise idea.

Pierce finished reading over his notes on the caverns, when he looked up to find Silver Heart sitting near him, he hadn't heard her arrive. Noting that she was content with just waiting, he decided not to bother her, and waited quietly for the other ponies to arrive. Bored, he readjusted his goggles, then resumed browsing his journal.
He didn't have to wait very long, three more ponies quickly arrived one after another. Pierce nodded to each of them in turn, looking them over before speaking. He noticed that the green pegasus had bulging saddlebags, he couldn't fathom what the pony could possibly have stuffed in them. There was an also a cute looking pegasus mare with a spiky mane, and while she was bright and energetic, she had no saddlebags, which would have irked him had it been a rougher venture. The most recent to arrive was a unicorn stallion, though he seemed a bit awkward introducing himself.
After taking a moment to compose his thoughts, Pierce said in his slow tone, "Well, it seems like not everypony is here yet. I guess this would be as good a time as any to give you your maps. They wont really be necessary, its more like a souvenir than anything else." As he finished talking, Pierce opened his saddlebags, stashing his journal and taking out a pile of hoof drawn maps, handing one to each pony. "They aren't perfect, but they're close enough."

Basic Descriptions
Basic Cave Description:
The cavern runs deep into the hills east of ponyville. The rock in the outer caverns is mostly limestone, with streaks of granite, quartz, and various other igneous rock. There is a narrow, shallow stream flowing out of the cavern before snaking its way through the forest.
Basic Description of each cave section:
Entry tunnel: The entry tunnel is rather smooth compared to deeper in, due to exposure to the elements.
Bat Cave: Just past the entrance to the caverns, on the right, is a short, low tunnel leading to a small, round chamber. This area is home to a rather unusual breed of bat, with yellow stripes on them. Not much else of interest here.
The Hub: The hub, as its name describes, is the central chamber of the caverns, if not the largest. The first noticeable feature of the hub upon entering it is the massive limestone column in the center of the chamber. Dotting the walls are tunnels of varying size. The stream is wrapped along the south side of the hub, before going down a side tunnel and into the wall. There are several stalagmites and stalactites scattered around the room, with one being nestled happily in the center of a small pool of water, where the stream had widened.
The Crystal Hall: The large tunnel connecting to the north-east wall of the hub leads to the Crystal Hall. As the tunnel gets further away from the hub, the limestone gives way to solid granite, streaked with precious metals. About halfway down the tunnel is a massive violet crystal embedded in the wall. Upon close inspection, the crystal is emitting a faint glow, somewhat reminiscent of moonlight. Further down the tunnel, the pale light bleeds into the tunnel, from a more intense source.
Upon entering the Hall proper, you can see there are crystals of all shapes and sizes jutting from the walls, floor and ceiling. There is a single granite pillar near the entrance. In the center of the hall is a lake, with a small island in the center of it. On this island is a gigantic crystal, at least 30 feet tall, and ten feet across. It pulses with a slow, irregular rhythm. Almost too quiet to hear, a low hum permeates the air.
The lake surrounding the crystal is perfectly clear, and is as clean as can be. It seems to be fed from an aquifer, but the lake is to deep to tell, it fades to black, rendering the bottom invisible.
The Pit of Doom: The pit is a section of tunnel in the south area of the cavern, accessible from the hub. The room itself is dotted with columns, stalagmites, and stalactites, and is mostly limestone, with streaks of iron and other metals
Various side tunnels: There are a number of side tunnels, most of them are only partially mapped, and branch out into further tunnels. Two of them are dead ends, though one is due to a cave-in. While some of the tunnels seem to have formed from erosion, most of the tunnels deeper in seem to have formed when the rock contracted, splitting along fissure lines and weak points.

Pierce meandered his way to the east border of ponyville not long after the sun rose, where everypony agreed to meet before today's adventure. He was somewhat excited about the prospect, but also a little bit worried about taking so many others down into the caves with him.
He shook his head a few times to clear his thoughts, nearly dislodging the goggles perched on his forehead. Putting a hoof up readjust them, he settled down under the large old oak they decided on as the meeting point. Being he had some time before everypony arrived, Pierce opened his saddlebag and took out a small journal, and settled down to wait.

Welp, I'm just about ready to get this underway, just need to finish up a few tidbits on cave details, and get confirmation from phil and thunder about which of their ponies are attending.

The Changelings Are Innocent!

We have to see both Discord and the Changelings from both sides of the debate. The changelings, as has been said, were simply trying to survive. But as far as we know, they made no attempts to make a sort of peaceful arrangement, instead attempting to take over. Chances are, had they sent an envoy, or an ambassador, negotiations of some sort could have begun. Celestia, while not infallible, is a compassionate leader, and would probably choose a path of diplomacy. But, alas, we do not know all the history between the changelings and ponies, or if they even have one.
As for Discord, the argument that he is not evil, and never did anything to harm anypony, is sort of invalid. While he never directly inflicted physical harm, he turned their world upside down, and directly messed with their heads. He gave big mac the mind of a dog, set granny smith dancing endlessly, and messed with several other ponies in ponyville.
While that would count as evil for a normal thinking entity, the fact that he is the essence of chaos negates that. But that doesnt mean he had to stay in equestria. He could have gone elsewhere and had his fun, but he chose to stay in a population center and willingly mess with with the minds of weaker creatures. That choice to stay somewhere that would cause unhappiness for others is evil.
