  1. The studious ponies we have seen are predominantly unicorns, but that does not mean unicorns tend to be introverts. In fact, it seems like outgoing, friendly behavior is a general across the board thing, with ponies like twilight/fluttershy being unusual. In the first episode, the other ponies we saw at the school were planning a party, and twilight was probably one of the very few to reject it. It seems like athletes, eggheads, and fashionistas are spread pretty evenly throughout the three types. As far as I know, any pony can be an athlete, given the determination, it just trends more within pegasi and earth ponies due to their lifestyles( farming and weather duty are physically demanding). Unicorns probably have a lower rate of athleticism due to their telekinesis. And magic != studious. Example: Snips and Snails.

  3. @ Diego

He yells moustache, because he wanted one to impress rarity with. And he doesnt want to praise other mares in front of rarity, because in his mind, rarity is best pony. And I think twilight's horn only has two rings because her mane is usually covering a portion of her horn, whereas rarity and the G and PT have their mane styled in a fashion that doesnt cover the forehead.

    Also, I like Trixies voice.

One day Trixie will learn her lesson, and come live in ponyville and be twilights student mentor. And maybe more, hint hint.

  4. Entertainmentwise, ponies seem to have much simpler tastes, rendering things like television/internet rather pointless, when the ponies are more likely to be at social gatherings. There were videogames in hearts and hooves day, but whether or not theyre canon is not for me to say.

And ponies do seem to use electricity, their dam has electrical doohickeys sticking out of it.

Their tech seems to be a mix of necessity and convenience that evolved to suit pony needs.

  5. What is the meaning of science as a whole in comparison to religion? How does this affect society in your opinion?

Both of their meaning is to spend money. However, Science spends money on cool gizmos and curing diseases, whereas religion spends money on really big buildings, and taking care of orphans. All in all, I would say they both help society some. Except religion causes less explosions.

That depends on which science you study.

What point of belief do you study for science?

I study SCIENCE!, which follows the belief that with enough money, you can do absolutely anything you can imagine. And then make it explode. Twice.

Likes: Herbs, Mint, Cookies, Rain, fancy clothes.

Dislikes: thunderstorms, caterpillars, schedules, clocks, calendars.

Character Summary: Lavender is a quiet, rather absentminded pony. She's not all that shy, or antisocial, she just doesnt really like loud noises. When it comes to social gatherings, she almost never takes the lead, more content to just follow the crowd. Lavender also tends to wander, which, when coupled with her absentmindedness, tends to get her into trouble, as she might meander into someone's home or office without realizing it, being lost in thought. Lavender is also a bit slow on the uptake, and often takes a few moments to figure out what's going on, though occasionally she will shine through with a spot of wit or brilliance.

Lavender was born in ponyville, and lived with her parents and grandmother in a small house on the outskirts of ponyville. Her parents ran a vegetable store in town, and were usually very busy, so when she wasn't in school, she spent most of her time with her grandmother, helping her tend the garden.

Lavender's grandmother, in her opinion, was the very best pony ever. She was nice, caring, and wise about nearly everything lavender could ask her about. She was lavender's go to pony for all her problems, and was always willing to listen.

On a cold, foggy, morning, Lavender was making some tea, when her grandmother walked in with the harvest from her herb garden. While Lavender was steeping her tea, on a whim she decided to drop a few mint leaves into it, to see what would happen. When she took a sip, she immediately fell in love with the flavor, and it all snowballed from there. She began making anything and everything she could with mint, from cookies to ice cream. She spent many weeks, but she finally perfected her recipe for a herbal lavender mint tea, and proffered it to her grandmother to try. The look of utter enjoyment on her grandmother's face sparked something in her, and she decided she wanted to share that joy with everyone she could, and when she looked behind her, she saw that she had a cutie mark! It was a sprig of lavender crossed over a mint leaf.

Lavender currently resides above her tea shop in Manehattan, where she works as the owner and maitre d, providing relaxing herbal blends along with snacks. In her free time, she visits with friends, goes for a stroll, or makes a cup of tea.

As of now, Lavender is content to run her tea shop. Perhaps one day she will do something else, but until then, she is content.
