1. What you want to be: Cast. I'd be happy to do any background voice work, although it would be nice to see a male mane character. there seems to be a major lack of those in MLP...

Something to show your talent to join: Vocal covers! Vocal covers as far as the eye can see! I actually did the acting in my recent cover of September by The Living Tombstone. I'll just link it, instead of putting a whole thing in here. The only implication is that all the cables for my equipment recently got stolen from my backpack, including my microphone cable. Seriously. What practical use could anybody have for that cable? Well, here's the link. LINKAH!

  2. Right now, I'm running an ASUS G74SX BBK7 Laptop, stock. http://www.canterlot.com/topic/7458-dashies-computer-thread/page__pid__152735#entry152735

In short, Intel Core i7 processor, nvidia geforce GTX 2GB Graphics card. 1TB of memory, 8GB of RAM. I'm more of a network maintenance kind of guy, mostly due to my TCNO (Tactical Computer Network Operator) Class. So, mostly my experience is with networking, not so much with the hardware aspect. So far, the only software that I've seen that can kill this thing is my Sonivox Wobble VST. That thing... Ugh.

  3. Yeah. You seem like you have a lot going on. And that is what normally causes a stressful case of writer's block. I ran into this issue when I wrote my first MLP fic. Mostly becasue I was trying to balance a WoWFic on the side, as well as a spinoff of the MLP fic that I was working on.

  4. So, in this thread, we'll use pictures to describe a day in our usual lives. You can put text to explain, if you want. Here. I'll go first.

    (Warning. Huge pictures.)

    1. Try to map out a new track with Dubturbo (That's right. I'm reppin the 130.):

    2. Realize that Dubturbo is kinda crappy, and switch to FL Studio, then spend a few minutes trying to figure it out:

3: Give up, and go to My Little Brony for a few hours:

    4. Check for FiMFiction Updates:

5: Check my Facebook, and get a few lulz:

6: Troll my readers, because they know I love them:

  5. 1.Two ponies that you liked to see in writing? Vinyl Scratch, and Octavia.

2.How many OC's do you have? Due to being an author... oh so many.

3.Which is your favorite OC? Ivory Keys

5.If you could be any species of pony which would you pick? Pegasus.

7.Favorite MLP song writer?(Like wooden toaster jackleapp mic the microphone ect.) The Living Tombstone, easily.

8.Favorite song?(Out of anything.) According to iTunes, it's Basshunter's "Now You're Gone" but I say it's "Come Clarity" by In Flames.

    9.Favorite Colour. Blue. Any shade.

    15.Least Favorite pony? Rarity.

    16.Favorite Problem or villan? Discord.

  6. Midsy smiled at the pony who had extended a hoof to her. "Hi! I'm Mid Wobble, but my friends call me Midsy! Nice to meet you, Geary! It's always nice to meet somepony who knows stuff! Bass normally looks at me strange when my brain kicks in." Midsy smiled widely, as she spoke, and looked over at Bass. "HI, BASS!"

  7. Bass sighed, knowing that if he wanted to play his show, tonight, he'd have to put up a slight effort. "Fine. Sign me up." He then kicked his hoof, hitting his guitar case, and sending it flying up to the counter. He quickly unbuckled the case, and opened it, revealing a V-shaped electric guitar. "Just tell me what I have to do."

[[please note that I am laughing like a madman at the usage of these nautical terms. xD]]

  8. Please tell me what pairs you tried, because I cannot believe that skullcandy out performed anything for any purpose, unless you are talking about the aviators or the mix master Mike headphones. Seriously, besides those two, I cannot think of a single redeeming feature for any skullcandy headphone I have ever tried. Ever.

I have tried out hundreds of headphones (I mean that quite literally, I've run the gamut from cheap $5 headphones to top tier $1800 headphones) and at least a dozen home and portable set ups (most expensive set up used was $5000 approximately), and the two worst companies for headphones I found were skullcandy and wesc. Skullcandy only recently redeemed themselves to me with the two aforementioned headphones.

If you want headphone advice I can certainly help there. I will say this though... Sub bass frequencies in headphones is nearly useless. All it means it's that the 20hz frequency might be a bit stronger/cleaner (might is the key word). Humans can't hear below 20hz usually, it can be felt though, but that requires full sized speakers. Headphones might be able to produce those frequencies, but you will not be able to perceive them using the headphones.

Well, I've used everything from Koss to Sony, and even Beatz. I found the Skullcrushers by Skullcandy to be better for the price, and they tend to bring out the bass in my production, which allows me to fine tune it to how I want it. I'm not saying there isn't anything better, because I'm sure there is, but for $50 they're pretty darn good.

  9. Bass watched in a slight amusement as Newsworthy gulped down the tea whose smell had been assaulting his nostrils from the moment it hit the counter. Finally, Bass broke his silence.

"So... Why would Discord, the spirit of disharmony, be talking to you, specifically? I've heard stories of ponies making deals with the Disharmonious One, and all, but that seems a bit farfetched, don't you think?"

[[Yeah, I need to go to bed, too. Phone's about to die, anyways. I'll be watching for the epic explanation, tomorrow morning, when I get back on.]]

  10. Anypony who was paying attention would notice Bass's right hind hoof twitching, due to Bass's growing nervousness, as the mare winked at him. Then they would've noticed his pupils dilate behind his glasses, when she asked about his music. The only completely noticeable hint of nervousness was in his voice, as he fumbled to answer the simple question. "Uh, well... I play a bit of jazz, and um... I play some blues. I'm decent on the violin... For using my hooves, I mean... I mostly do acoustic or rock, though... I guess. I kinda used to be in a band, back in Filly. FILLYDELPHIA! I mean Fillydelphia. Quikhor5. Heh heh..."

Bass smiled awkwardly, again, after that perfect example of how NOT to talk to mares.
