1. I enjoyed this episode for the simple fact that Zecora is still awesome lawl.

I'll be your friend Trixie \o/

Loved how the Mane 6, Apple family and CMC helped trick the amulet off of Trixie. I had actually thought they turned AJ into a stallion. That freaked my mind out!

Those pony? at the end of the episode seemed quite interesting as well.

If I had a rating to give, it would be a 4/5

  2. Getting flown over the Ravine and leaving it behind, Greenshot Apple and Company left the Rearing Ravine behind to enter what seemed like the area of the race that would be the rainbow after the storm. Whitetail Woods, the second to last part of the race that in his opinion, was seeming like the best part of the race where leaves actually fall from the trees as the racers come trotting past.

"This is more like it! No storms, no rickety bridges, no flooded streams or deep ravines; just the trees, the leaves to remove, and friends to run with"

Greenshot heard from Writer as they came into sight of leaves falling down upon them. Leaves brushing against his face and mane. Even getting a leaf stuck onto the number 27 that was still stuck to his flank, barely. His vision ended up looking down at his hoof once again. Worried about what he should do once this race finishes. Not wanting to stay off of it to get it to heal up faster. Even worse about it was that he used his right hoof the most especially when it came to archery. He used magic to keep the archer bow up, but his body was what helped him maintain a steady shot even though, he shot more accurate at a right angle.

Greenshot just remained silent as they all trotted along. Not much of the talking type especially around ponies he only just met in the running. Sugar Apple and Applejack were the only ones he felt comfortable talking to in the race. He just began looking over at Risi who had caused the problem back in the Ravine. He wasn't mad at her or anything. She just seemed a bit off. Wanting to ask her if she was alright after what happened, but the words just didn't want to leave his mouth and he just looked away. Many questions began to pop into his head as he looked at all the racers in the group. Not wanting to see anypony else getting hurt was his main thought of mind. With his eyes looking past at the path ahead. Ponies visible in the distance as well as tree's with sap. Buckets hanging from the trees as well that gathered it.

  3. His mind was still playing a trick on him. Feeling like he could still see and feel the food on the table that was in his dream. The delicious foods was getting him again and thought “Once I get home to Canterlot, I am going to have a ball in mom’s shop. The taste of her sweets and goods are just waiting to get in my belly.” Suddenly Greenshot Apple stumbled on a small rock that got him out of his daydreaming and noticing Rising run past him. Wondering why the group had come to a halt and trotted towards where they seemed to be looking. A questionable bridge was in his sights. Who knew if it was stable or not.

"Psh... Hahaha! That's most be some kind of joke! CAN'T YOU JUST DESIGN A TRACK WHICH DOESN'T CONTAIN FLOODING RIVERS OR *THOSE* BRIDGES!?b

Greenshot had lifted a brow looking at Rising after her outburst. He wasn't one to judge anypony, especially after what had occured behind them.

"What? I had to let go of my emotions..."

Greenshot had no plans of going to cross the bridge unless he knew it would be safe. The thought of magic to keep the bridge steady did cross his mind, but when Writer mentioned that we should all cross steadily one at a time. The idea seemed well enough to work without spending up any energy. Looking over at Sugar and Writer when the sudden approach of Applejack and Gilda caught them by surprise. Greenshot had jumped back not wanting to be bumped into and looked at who it was. A griffon that he didn’t know about and Applejack. “Heh, I guess Applejack was in this race. What were they doing behind us?” he thought. When the sudden snap of planks could be heard from the bridge, Greenshot jumped and looked, noticing the Applejack’s body had disappeared from the bridge.

    “APPLEJACK!!!"

Seconds later he shouted as well "COUSIN!!" Trotting towards the entrance of the bridges near to Sugar while she went out shouting at the Griffon. Greenshot paid no attention as he did not want to get himself all angry and lose his own head. He had noticed that AJ’s tail was stuck to the bridge.

"You get your flanks straight up here, and see to it that Applejack makes it across safely. After that, you will personally ferry each and every single racer here across this ravine, and if I hear any backchat about how it isn't 'sporting', the entire event staff are gonna get in the snoot for reckless endangerment in every paper in Equestria! By name!" Greenshot had looked back at Writer as he said that down at the Race coordinators below them in the ravine below the bridge. He knew that most griffons weren't friendly and quickly assumed that this one wasn't going to help Applejack below and just stood at the beginning of the brige, planting his tosh on the ground and watching the coordinators below. If he needed to for any reason at all, he would be ready to help to keep the bridge in place, or keep from anypony, like Applejack, from falling below and was going to stay by Writer until everypony else made there own way across this bridge. His ears twitching and his head turning to look at Writer and Sugar having a moment and grinned to himself as Sugar got carried away.

(Got a little confused there, and sorry for posting ll late. got an exam, quiz and test tomorrow morning so study study study!!)

  4. "Don't rush. Take what rest you need, you earned it, buddy."

Greenshot Apple's ears twitched lightly from hearing Earth Writer's words just as he fell asleep. A Dream was forming in his state of mind. A dream of him in front of a table full of all sorts of apple treats, assorted flower sandwiches, cider, pastries and the like. It was all just for him. It seemed so real. He lifted an apple cupcake towards his face with his magic and was just about to take a bite until he heard someone talking then nudge his head with there hoof. He slowly awoke to see a coordinator pegasus with a medical kit asking to see his hoof. Lifting his hoof towards her, she began to take off the bandages and stilt that Hoss had put around his hoof. She had given him a daisy sandwich which he began eating as it lifted just in front of his mouth floating in place while he looked at her putting on thicker bandages that were really tight around his hoof and just began telling him that he had a sprain that needed to heal with a day or two of resting off of it, but he could still continue the running now that his right hoof was completely wrapped in tight, brown bandages. The only downside in his mind was that brown just wasn't his colour. Just as he finished his sandwich, Greenshot stood up onto all fours and didn't feel any pain upon pressing down onto his hoof. She wasn't a unicorn, but her methods of healing was good enough for him and thanked the female pegasus coordinator by bowing his head to her in gratitude as well as saying. "Thank you for using your time to come and assist us racers. I'm sure we aren't the only ones that are in need of assistance so I won't take any of your time. Though If you ever stop by in Canterlot, come visit Sweet Blintze's Pastry Shop and my mother will let you have a pastry with your choice of drink on the house. Her pastries are the best!"

Greenshot slowly cantered over to the other ponies who were grouped together and also fixed of there own injury. Happy to see that everypony was alright and that we could all continue our Running of the Leaves race and get out of this disastrous ravine. Looking over at Rising and Clockwise who he hadn't really met yet then towards Hoss, Writer and Sugar and quickly thought. "Well, seems the Apple advantage is still 1 out of 3, good odds I think." Greenshot had a grin clear on his face when Writer spoke out. "Ready everypony? Forward!" Shrugging his shoulders, Greenshot stayed closely behind them as we continued along the Ravine.

  5. Greenshot Apple had been looking over at all the racers who had been around to help in the cause. Looking at Hoss and Risi talking down below then back to Writer and Sugar who were talking just about a hoof or two away. Then, at Clockwise who just came into view. His body was spent from all the work. His hooves felt like taffy and he didn't even want to get up from his sort of comfortable lay. Hearing Writer's congratulation's, Greenshot gave a warm smile for what he had done and accomplished. Feeling proud of all the levitation training he had done when he was younger to become an archer and to keep the bow or sling steady, He had no clue race coordinators were near and as he motioned his right hoof underneath his head, Greenshot rested same head onto his hoof with his eyes shutting to take a quick rest. His yellow, light greenish stripe tail swooping around him as he went to sleep now wanting to take assistance from the coordinators, but still with fight to finish the Running of the Leaves.

  6. When Greenshot Apple noticed that Sugar Apple was out of her predicament, he sighed in relief and let down his magic. Laying down on the ground out of exhaustion now that he could relax and catch his breath. His hard breathing was noticeable and began to shaking his mane. He was sweating a bit and being from Canterlot, was a typical unicorn who did not enjoy his mane being unfashionable began shaking his head for a tad bit to make sure it didn't flop or stick up. Waving his tail towards his face like a fan to get some air.

He looked at Earth Writer and then towards everypony around with a smile on his face as Greenshot looked down at Risi, Hoss and Sugar. "I hope everything is okay down there. I hope there's a sandwich shop or even pit stops close by cause we could all use one I think ughh what I'd give for some apple blintzes or sandwiches right about now."

  7. “I would have to agree with ya there for we are headed towards the Rearing Ravine.” Greenshot Apple had said towards Earth Writer. Following alongside him until he paused suddenly, Greenshot heard a faint sound as well, but followed Earth Writer who seemed to be going ahead of him. When Greenhot heard the cry for help as well, his ears twitched and looked at Earth Writer with a nod of agreement. As they climbed up, Greenshot was using more power from his three useful legs and keeping his right hoof from doing much work. He had to be very cautious at what he was doing as they both slowly, but surely made their way up. Pausing for a moment, Greenshot then heard the cry of help that was more close to home that sounded just like Sugar Apple. Unlike Earth Writer, Greenshot began to push himself to climb harder as he went alongside Earth Writer. His hooves pushing into the ground, the adrenaline blocking the pain in his right hoof until he reached the top next to Earth Writer.

His breathing was heavy, but just for a while as he looked down at the two ponies in distress. “Your…both going to be…Alright!. Stay calm and your fellow…racers will do our best to get to you both safe.” Greenshot’s horn shined as he too began dislodging rocks from Sugar Apples rock collection below while Earth Writer helped the mare unicorn. He could hear another pony from across from them, but it was just faintly to him. Then, another pony that came up alongside him and Earth Writer while they focused below for Sugar Apple with a female Unicorn alongside. Used to using levitation, lifting up heavy rocks like the ones below was not too much trouble as we three unicorn helped lift the heavier ones. “Hey..Skybright, your help could be useful right now yup. What is your name down there Miss Unicorn.”Greenshot asked while beginning to tire from the magic he was using up along with the energy from all the trotting. He could really use of boost of energy. If only he had brought along another apple or two or even some sandwiches. Seeing Hoss going down towards where Sugar Apple had been. From his point of view, can begin to see some colour within the rock pile as Writer and Greenshot began lifting out the rocks that seemed to cause Sugar Apple the most trouble.

  8. Reaching the end of the Glade, Greenshot Apple took a short glimpse back at the wonders he missed out on, at least he got to snack on the scrumptious grass. Looking at Earth Writer who was next to him, Greenshot just thought about what could’ve happened if he had taken the bridge instead. He seemed to have gotten ahead of most of them by not taking the bridge though. Either way, he was going to fall behind and glanced over at Earth Writer. “I’m still sorry for holding you back, even if the story is so..great.”

Looking at his right hoof, the bandages seemed to be staying in tack and the spling wasn’t much of a bother. He was getting used to each step and decided that he did not need to get more assistance and will keep on racing with the bandages Skybright had put on his hoof. Trot limping into what looking like the Rearing Ravine, Greenshot’s eyes widened as he had forgotten about this part of the forest. He had to stop to gather his thoughts. His train ride from Canterlot was his strategy time and the Ravine was the one area he had studied the most, but now the bigger challenge was to figure out how to get through with a bandaged up hoof.

  9. Picking up some of the grass that he had not been laying on, Greenshot Apple decided it seemed like a good time for a snack. Picking up some grass with his left hoof while he felt Skybright’s wingtips and hooves work on his injured right hoof. The grass was quite delicious. This grass was good as the grass back in Canterlot. Looking at his right hoof, Greenshot was listening to what the reporter was saying to him. He had only been in the paper once in Canterlot when his mother’s shop was in the paper for having won a pastry competition. That was long ago though. Greenshot could now see Skybright wrapping the bandages around the splint that was pressed against his first bandage layer and gave his hoof another layer of bandages to keep the splint in place. His hoof felt constricted, but the real test was yet to come. His ears went back as he began to motion his hoof slowly in the air then pressed it against the ground. It didn’t hurt as much as it did before. “Thank you so much Skybright err… Hoss, for assisting me.”

Greenshot nodded lightly as he looked back at the reporter then began to make his way back onto his four hooves when he heard Sugar Apple speaking towards him. “Don’t you worry about me, I’ll let Applejack know If I see her. Didn’t know she was in this race either. The odds are in the favour of the Apple family. Do your very best and win this for the Apples Woot!! owwww!” Greenshot accidently put too much force on his right hoof when he stomped in on the ground. Greenshot then looked back at the reporter and spoke in a noticeable Canterlot tone, “I appreciate your helpfulness, but I can continue walking without having to lean on anypony though you can stay close. In case something does happen along the ways.” Bowing his head a bit in a apologetic manner for being such a nuisance to the ponies who were racing to come out of their way to check on him.

  10. With his yellow, green striped tail still swatting at the blades of grass. Greenshot Apple looked over at Hoss who was talking to him as well. Greenshot wondered why so many ponies were coming to assist him. This was a surprise as Greenshot nodded at Hoss. "Yes,Greenshot,.... Greenshot Apple.. You are? Though If you wish to patch my here right hoof up. That would be very generous and kind of you, but I will not be the blame if I am the cause of you not winning the Running of the Leaves.. just so you know that. You don't have to help me either if you want to get back into the race." Greenshot said softly as he brought his right hoof out enough to be worked on.

  11. Greenshot Apple had an clear expression of disappointment on his face. He himself wasn't even sure how far he could go and if he would even be able to finish the Running of the Leaves. Looking over at racers seeming to be resting of exhaustion, Greenshot wanted to get back in the race, he will not be put down because of the rock while pushing down on his hoof once more made him wince again. Noticing that a pink unicorn was coming towards him, he didn't know why until he saw her horn glow and the objects floating out from the bag on her back. A soft smile then formed on his face watching what she was doing to help him out the best she could in the crisis he was in. "Thank..you. I really appreciate your help. Good luck in the race and stay safe. Don't go spraining an ankle like I did ya hear?" Greenshot said just as she walked away. Chuckling as he did blend in with the grass then looked at the tan pony from earlier back in the Apple Acres area. "Howdy Do again. Of course I'm going to push through and get back into this race. There is no way I'm going down this easy especially since I have a goal set to finish this race. I'm Greenshot Apple. You should get back into the race though, you'll get passed up and fall more behind the lead pack. Tell Sugar Apple to win it for the Apple family if you ever see her again alright?" Greenshot said softly as he looked at the bandaged stick waiting for assistance. His yellow, green striped tail swatting against the blades of grass trying not to get impatient.

  12. After all the problems ensued from back by the waters, Greenshot Apple had no more weather poncho on, but still had his number 27 itching at his flank. With this and the pain in his front right hoof. His thoughts were going all over the place as he spoke aloud to himself. "What if this is a serious sprain? What if I can't finish the race? I have no chance in winning this, but I want to at least finish. Be proud of something you know? Ughh..stupid rock, I'll get my revenge on you when I get home to Canterlot and practice with my slingshot oww." Greenshot knew nothing about healing, so he couldn't just fix it himself. Each step his right hoof took was more painful then the one before. Having walking into the glade, least the beautiful scenery was something to be thankful for. After a while, Greenshot had to go to the side where the grass looked comfortable and sat down. Playing with his right hoof by shaking it about and poking the ground with it. The pain would just come when he put pressure on it as he noticed racers going by more frequently.

  14. (( Not going for bridge ))

Greenshot Apple was noticing that there had been no more apple trees in sight as he went ahead of Sugar Apple and the tan unicorm. The weather was beginning to look really unsettling. Maybe if he turned around and stayed in the Apple Acres area, the weather would be better, but that would have been a bad idea. This was a race your suppose to go ahead, not backwards. Greentshot could begin to feel the rain pour down on him and nodding his head with his horn was again giving a short flash of light, or was that lightning, made a poncho with a hood appear around his body and head. His number 27 damp, but still stuck to his flank as he could feel it's itching again his body. While doing so, Greenshot veered the wrong way and not towards the bridge which was where he had wanted to go. Looking back, he could see Sugar Apple and some other racers head to the bridge with a loud commotion and Greenshot only saw a few go in his direction.

"Great, bad weather And I went the way I didn't want to go. What could possibly happen next." Greenshot's trot slowed when he came up to the rope swing that had been swaying about over a hopefully sturdy looking tree. Stopping in his track's, Greenshot made a slow approach to the rope swing, waiting for the right moment to jump and with a burst of power from his hind legs, leaped at the rope and almost just missed it, but with a bad grip. He gripped onto the rope with some help of his mouth and swung to the other side with a bad landing. He stepped on a rock that had rolled by from the water and began to jump and limp in pain. His front right hoof was hurting when it pressed against the ground and Greenshot angrily flared his nostrils and bucked the rock with his hind legs with enough force to sending it flying into the sky. Greenshot then planted his flank and began to look at his hoof then back at the trail. "It got worse..why does that always happen to me always..always. It just had to be a rock that I stepped onto. Couldn't be an apple fritter or an apple, but a stone cold rock." Standing back up, Greenshot Apple began to limp trot, which was just a bit faster then a limp, began to continue his race with his injured front right hoof.
