    I'm sorry for my recent absence, I'm being forced to move across the country while dealing with some major surgery. I'm sorry to say that Derpy will have to find a new player while I get my life back in order. I'm sorry I let things get this far out of hand. I'll let you all know ASAP when I'll be back and ready to RP again.

    She simple, and sweet, and I am sure you will make her personality shine during RP.

    Ordinarily I would expect a longer summary, but you chose your words precisely to give us what we need to know about her. I might want to see a bit of an explanation of how holly relates to the holiday season in Equestria, since we already know its connotation on Earth, but because that is a more "curious on your take" question than an actual application problem I am going to approve her. :)

    Hello, SantaClair,

    This year for Christmas i would like a lovely portrait of Unicornelius with mistletoe and as many mares as you feel like drawing, especially including Quicklime, and maybe Rosewind (because she will love that) lining up to smooch him, if you would dear Santa. I am pretty sure that Quicklime herself is "taken", but that makes it funnier to me. Watch as a chortle with glee Christmas morning to find this under my tree.

    Ugly Christmas sweaters as a bonus if you so choose. And if you can manage to make the background, if you are up to drawing a background like the godawful Christmas scene from The Who's Tommy (which you might have to google a video of if you want to go that far into ridiculous) the laughter will be doubled.

    Edited to add: Animaniacs is my barometer to my friends who have kids as to what is or isn't appropriate for their children. If I say Animaniacs, they know it's safe enough, but fun enough to be entertaining to them as well ;)

    Really, what I do, because I come from the world of customization, is that I make a character first, and then decide what fits as a backstory afterwards. Probably partially because I did this as a kid with my own ponies.

    I've started digging a hole in my backyard, flutterscotch. The neighbors are starting to stare, but I'm sure it will all be worth it in the end. :P (disclaimer: I am not actually digging a hole in my backyard.)

    I tried to dig to China once when I was a kid. Because of Cyndi Lauper. My parents just let me keep doing it because it kept me quiet.

    Those are pretty much my thoughts. Trixie is pompous, arrogant and not above deception, but I don't think this manner of cruelty is in her normally. The amulet pushed her past where she would normally go. Once she was back to normal, she realized it all and saw the need to apologize for taking things too far.

    She is after all, very humble..

    I got the subscription cover. *sobs* but the logo is sparkly.

    Some of the references in the background are cracking me up! So MAD magazine esque!

    The Ferrari pony, two ponies who are obviously supposed to be caricatures of writers for DC and Marvel, g1 firefly, MISTER YUK, to serve ponies, OJ SIMPSON's account of his murder trial, Secretariat comet, Rainbow Dash quoting The Thing, Sibsy's OC, Applejack's exp<b></b>ression when she confirms that it's the CMCs, and the one changeling bopping the other one disguised as Derpy to make her eyes all wonky.

    My favorite thing though: Dash telling Rarity to pretend that it's last year's fashion and her response. Then AJ referencing parachute pants and shoulder pads.

    There's a green character with a paw mark, and another in a kerchief I can't place though.

    You just blow my mind!

    I would also like to point out that you can be extremely affectionate with members of your own sex without being attracted to them or romantically involved with them. Let's just say that there were a lot of misconceptions about me in high school that I refused to confirm or deny publicly, because it was stupid of people to care about in the first place.

    You guys know that Sturmmann totally metal-screamed that in his head when he wrote that, right?

    I personally find that the best way to get into any genre is to find something funny first. That is what actually got me into a LOT of music. A chuckle at the novelty ( or in the case of Ronnie James Dio straight up making fun of him) then once the novelty of the joke wears off sometimes you find yourself actively enjoying something for itself.

    So, really, this is an endorsement for Metalocalypse, which made stuff like Fintroll at least listenable to me.

    Also, Inkwell, thank you for bringing up Todd in the Shadows. Very good call, because he is fantastic and fits in with my point that humor is a great gateway to at least getting someone to at least listen.

    I am going to have to run with Whiteslash's thing and list my 5 favorite dark early 80s post-punk or goth songs, of which The Killing Moon is one of them. :)
