  1. I think this suggests the chocolate rain happens before the mane six meet up with Celestia.
  2. I think so, but even then, why would someone change their vote long after the winner was decided? Strange behavior if ya'll ask me.
  3. :!: Wasn't Sonic Rainboom the winner in this poll? Party of One has the 31 votes now... And that's how it should have been.
  4. Looks like Pinkamena, but not quite her. It's just Pinkie with wet hair, like in episode 2 of Season 1. Hopefully this marks the end of the "chocolate rain" pictures. I'd like to see other characters than the mane six as well. EDIT: Here's some more screen caps from these
  5. And now for today's newest screencap: Rarity is always ready, apparently.
  6. Blargh, I guess it's more appropriate to have a new topic about this. My thoughts:
  7. WARNING: 1 MINUTE SEASON 2 CLIP. MAJOR SPOILING, INCLUDING DISCORD'S DESIGN. Stuff being spoiled for those who can't view (but want to view):
  8. Not really. We're not exactly the most popular site here. Heck, none of the choices have even gotten past 10 votes. Voted Twilight (a while ago). Not because I ship it (I don't ship except as a joke), but because ddhew drew a really nice pic of the 2 together. So there.
  9. Apparently, the MLP Facebook page is going to be uploading a new image of Season 2 every day until it starts. That's 8 new images! ...oh, today's image is already up though (in fact, it's the first image here). http://www.facebook....tlepony?sk=wall
  10. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-JztWKs1fvGE/Tl6e4SAv07I/AAAAAAAALT0/3puCD217hhc/s1600/mail.google.com.jpg http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/08/animation-reel-with-few-seconds-of.html Season 2 stuff from EqD! Pony families/parents coming again. Also, a short compilation clip including a portion with "Rainbow" Dash in Season 2 (Other shows and season 1 stuff appears as well). Maybe a bit spoilery, definitively raises questions.
  11. Well that was different. Not too bad, but I still prefer the original opening, "My Little Pony, My Little Pony, ah-ah-ah-ah-aaahhh!" be darned. At least it's better than the French-Canadian dub.
  12. Pinkie thought AJ had it in the bag, so I'm guessing she thinks AJ is the "safe" bet.
  13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4b5ZjGdjz1k IT'S FINALLY HERE! Follow the link for HD. Now I gotta add annotations everywhere so that people can follow the vid's different episodes like chapters.
  14. 1 hour left (+ maybe several minutes in processing...). Hopefully I won't jinx the upload, but here's a few more things to know about the vid: -The mistakes are in episodic order, IE they appear from episode 1's beginning to it's end, then episode 2's beginning to it's end etc... There's one exception where I go backwards in an episode (Dragonshy). -There's an extra scene after episode 26. Anyone who's watched the previous blooper video probably have an idea what it is about. The execution is something not many might expect though! After the scene it's the credits (Which are really 3 minutes long). -The vid glosses over a lot of small mistakes, and is in general fast-paced, so don't be shy to pause if you need to, because the video spends as little as 4 seconds on average to point out a mistake. Sequence mistakes are especially bad, because they rarely stop and will skip around to save time. 8:39 PM EDIT: Video is uploaded! Just a matter of processing now.
  15. My current Blooper vids get a healthy amount of views every day and have 20 000+ total each right now. I'll personally send an e-mail to EqD once I'm certain the season 1 vid is ready as well, which is 3000+ views guaranteed. Also, I'm not sure people would be willing to watch this vid as much as the previous ones: the length is sure to put off a few people, since the other videos were something you could watch on an lunch break. 22% done. Less than 6 hours left. 4:57 pm EDIT: 50% done. Less than 4 hours left.
  16. 1.94gigs for 720p. Thank Celestia. Youtube upload started. Going to take at least 7 hours to get it up completely, so look forward to something around 9:00pm, assuming everything goes well.
  17. CRAP. I'm afraid things have taken a turn for the worse: I forgot that youtube is completely inept at handling uploads that are bigger than 2 gigs, which means that I have to export the video YET AGAIN, this time in 720p (FORTUNATELY, because any lower quality would screw up some scenes really badly.) Then I upload the vid and hope my computer won't crash/lose connection for the amount of time it will take to upload it. Which will probably be 7 hours. So yeah, at this point I'm not even sure I'll have it up by tomorrow. The good news it that we all get V.1.2. Heh. I guess I could use a compression trick to get the video to be small enough, but that would take even more time. Blargh.
  18. Not bad, 8 hours to export. V.1.1 is satisfactory. There are still a few hiccups, including a typo (Pinki instead of Pinkie), some delayed, but subdued, sounds (Episode 7, 16 and 22 are major offenders) and I forgot to add a credit when "You gotta share" starts (It's still credited in the end, though). I think I'll do a V.1.2 for myself, but I'll only upload 1.1 on my youtube channel. So how long will it take for it to get uploaded? Well, from this exact moment that I am typing...778 minutes. That's 13 hours. See ya'll tomorrow.
  19. I actually have trouble when exporting a movie, because some sounds get completely desynched. It's a problem when a video is as long as this, because if it screws up I have to wait another x hours before getting a new export and hope "that" one isn't gonna screw up. I can alleviate this by silencing staggered tracks, but in some cases I need that sound, so this isn't always an option. There is a similar problem with the animators' official program, Flash 8, where while exporting some layers will glitch out or be delayed. This might be what happened to Blues. Also, on the subject of "cannot unsee", I've done so many animation errors that they don't affect me very much when I watch the show leisurely, with 2 exceptions. Oh yeah, remember when I said "7 hours"? I think it's closer to 9 hours. If 1.1 turns out good, I'll have the video up at 3:00am EST... Maybe.
  20. Just finished my test view of v1.0. I forgot quite a few things and have to export a new version. Exporting takes 7 hours. Let's hope v1.1 will be good enough.
  21. Okay, so I'm finally finished* with My Little Bloopers: Mistakes are Forever! Season 1. I had to compromise a few things, but that's pretty normal since I tend to aim much higher than I can when tackling a large-scale project. Video length: 1 hour 14 minutes *Still need to do a test run, so it might take another day before it gets posted. Some tidbits: The credits are 4 minutes long. That's longer than each of the first 3 blooper videos. Owl's Well That Ends Well has only one major animation mistake (The other is actually a fix of the previous episodes), making it the least flawed episode by FAR. It probably has a lot of minor mistakes, but I don't count those since the video would then be 3 hours long. Nearly all of Eurobeat Brony's song remixes were used. The only one I know I haven't used is the opening remix. Also, some of his songs had to be manually looped so that they could last long enough for the episode(s) they are supposed to represent. Applejack loses her freckles at least 50 times, including on her technical first appearance. Rainbow Dash is a blank flank at least 12 times. Pinkie Pie and Twilight about 5-6 times each. The others only have one or 2 instances of blank flank syndrome. Before this, a blooper video would only take me 3 days of work to get done. This one took me 2 months. Besides the ridiculous amount of work, this is primarily because for previous videos I would just check various sites for animation errors and then add them in with little observation. But here I thought that would be unreliable, since not all listed mistakes were actually mistakes (like some instances of "Blank Flank" were actually inner thigh shots, which makes sense), so I did a complete frame analysis for every episode. Which took me 1 month on its own. Add in the time stamps - 2 weeks. Jokes - another 2 weeks. Episode 7 has the single most infuriating set of mistakes ever: the disappearing saddlebags. In other episodes, saddlebags have the same problem, but they only appear for a short amount of time usually. But not in Dragonshy, oh no, they appear near the beginning and are supposed to last until the very end. Their consistency was all over the place. Sometimes they would all appear, sometimes none of them appear, and then some of them appear while the others don't. I had to isolate an entire section for this absolute mess, and it was ridiculously boring to handle, since if I tried to add jokes it would take 3 times the normal amount of time to work on it. What's worse, though, is that at some point Rarity puts on a scarf. It obviously disappears a few scenes after...except here's the thing: At some point, on a 1-second scene, the scarf re-appears. NO REASON AT ALL FOR IT TO REAPPEAR, BUT IT DOES. THIS IS THE ONLY INSTANCE IT REAPPEARS, WHICH BOGGLES MY MIND BECAUSE IT IMPLIES THAT THE SCARF WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN EVERY. SINGLE. OTHER. SCENE. BEFORE. AND. AFTER. IT. Except it's not. Good Celestia, what where they thinking?!? One last thing, filesize is 6.34 gigs. That's 15 times the amount of a 1080p episode.
