It's going. Been thinking of how to flesh out, but meh. After all, it's an application, not a database entry.

Roleplay Type: World of Equestria.
Name: Red "Drop D" Beat
Gender: Male
Age: Stallion
Species: Unicorn
Eye Color: Deep Blue
Coat Color: Crimson Red
Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Dark Purple with a Black Stripe
Physique: Kinda skinny, but slightly tall.
Cutie Mark: A skull with crossed bass guitars behind it.
Origin/Residence: Manehattan
Occupation: Rock/Metal Bass Guitarist
Motivation: Fun, Fame, and Fortune
Likes: A good beat, hot mares, and playing in front of adoring fans.
Dislikes: Smart people. They talk too much about stuff he doesn't care about.
Character Summary: Ever since Red Beat was a foal, he had an interest in music. His mother, quite the groupie back in her years, was big into the wilder bands of her time. His father wasn't as enthusiastic, but when Red went into the junior bands, he took a great liking to the string instruments. He slowly got into harder and harder music, and fell in love with the music of Heavy Metal. He began turning his back away from his friends and family, who wanted him to stay a more calm pony, and found a new group of friends. Not long after he began to refer to himself as Drop D for his new circle, he got his cutie mark. He knew then that music was his destiny.
As he grew older, he joined a band with four others, Rough 'n' Tumble, the singer. Whammy Bar, the lead guitarist. Heart Snare, the drummer. Lastly, Slip Scale the keyboardist. They had a small following, despite the publicity their manager, Platnium Disc was trying to get them. During his time, that's when Drop D developed his look to where he is now. The top hat and the hair in the face with a set of glasses as dark as midnight. However, all good things come to an end, and arguments began to erupt between Whammy Bar and Rough 'n' Tumble, and eventually the band was split up.
Since the breakup, Drop D's been wandering around Manehattan, trying to find a group that's looking for someone like him. Someone who knows how to party, someone who knows how to play. Low on bits, he fights to stay in his apartment, resolving not to move back in with his parents.

Ahh, thank you. Usually I catch that. I also missed a somepony, but I caught it there.
-
*Pushes his glasses down for dramatic effect.*
Cool~
-
That's what I was saying in the last paragraph. *Shrugs.*
I'll clarify it, then.
-
Hehe, no worries. So what do you think of it?

From suggestions to change the situation of my character to the changing of my application... perhaps I'd rather hear that from the staff themselves? It is my character, after all. As long as they can see that she properly falls within the guidelines, I don't see the issue. More playing, and less scrutiny after all.
Only reason I'm back here is because MyLittlePonyTales asked me to give Canterlot another chance.

She is good with animals, actually. A note I've missed, perhaps, but her primary aspect is leadership... but she's been afraid to revisit her abilities just yet. A psychological means. Something I want to play through, you see...

Some Icons now.

Ah, it really is her special talent, but due to her background, it's something she's never been able to pursue. She trained into being good at picking locks and such, but that's just motivation in achieving her goal.

Anthrocon's never going to leave Pittsburgh.

Ah! Silly me. I do keep forgetting to check that image I made. Once I do that and get the proper eye color I can finalize it.
EDIT: Rose! Good thing I checked.
-
Indeed~ nice to meet you again.

Oh, along the Auction-side in the Artist Alley. Starstruck was also one of my customers. (I've actually got it all posted over on my FA.)
Good to hear you enjoyed yourself! I also had quite a bit of fun, dispite events earlier in the week leaving me with no money by the time I got there.

Suppose it wouldn't hurt to try my hand at this again.
Roleplay Type: I'm not interested in crossover. World of Equestria.
Name: Pickpear
Gender: Female
Age: Barely a mare.
Species: Unicorn
Eye Color: Rose
Coat Color: Pear-Green
Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Chestnut Brown and self cut, looks a little messy.
Physique: Smaller than the average pony.
Cutie Mark: An oaken crosier with a bow on it.
Origin/Residence: Originally from the areas surrounding Fillydelphia, migrated towards Ponyville, but ended up becomming nomad.
Occupation: Artifact Appraisal and Acquisition.
Motivation: Her special somepony.
Likes: The color orange... and intelligent conversation.
Dislikes: Overly forward and braizen ponies. She tends to avoid them.
Character Summary: Pickpear was born a runt. Her body and her horn were both smaller than average. Though it was her horn that was most made fun of. She shied away from large groups and activities with others for a long time. She was such a doormat that even her parents walked all over her, making her do literally everything around the house when at home. Her cutie mark came from her skill as a shephard, possibly the only thing that really kept her at ease. However, her parents saw no leading qualities in her, and forbade her from leading the sheep anymore, keeping her tied down with other mundane tasks. She finally ran away from home, escaping with nothing but her saddlebags and a destination; Ponyville, where she had heard everyone was so nice.
Along the way, she ran into a stranger. After a little convincing, she gave up her quest to Ponyville and went on a journey with him, where he built up her self-confidence and taught her how to enter places and "acquire" old artifacts. She has, since then, developed strong feelings for that special somepony, and treasures anything she still has from him. She's very deticated to her new skills and talents in picking locks and disabling countermeasures for just her kind. However, now her wandering has become a hunt to track down that special somepony once again, and the artifacts are all a means of acquiring the bits to do it with.
Because of her earlier background, she's still a very reserved and quiet pony, but she has a certain point where she becomes assertive, due to her natural talent. Her actual talent makes her a good at understanding somepony's capabilities, and how they can work with others to accomplish a task. Because of this, she'd make a great leader, but because of her developed shy nature from her background, she never attempts to take the role she was destined for. Perhaps one day she'll be able to knock down the mental barriers blocking her way and bloom into her true potential.

Hah! Funny how things work out. I didn't actually realize who I was talking to at my little table in the Artist's Alley on Sunday, and I've even done two images of Lampwick as it is. Well... I hope you trip home was good.

Yes, a male and a female, and no masks. Hah. Interesting how things go around. To think, I knew her and didn't even know it... but they didn't recognize me anyway.

*Chuckles.*
It would be something if she was the one who came by my table and I didn't even realize it.
Thank you, by the way.
I do all of my ponies by starting with a traditional sketch.
Then I scan it.
Then I ink the lines in Photoshop and color it in.
The particular effects that I used for the lantern or dragon's fire are skills I picked up while making non-pony art earlier on.

For someone on Solia.
For freee~!
Also, here's what I did at Anthrocon!
Some sort of pontified version of a character from "Exhaulted" whatever that is.
Starsturck
Once a cat, now a pony. Bam!
Once a DRAGON, now a pony! BAM!
Some people from here stopped by and gave me a card for here. Did you know that after all the add-ons it locks up my computer and takes about 3 minutes to load a page? Presenting my art here was painful, so I hope you like it.

We've build and developed our own system. It's a 1d100 with a HUGE versatility mechanism. Think GURPS, but all of the content is already made, and the rules... well, make sense.
-
lol
I totally agree. Though, the mechanics of D&D have inspired me and my group to work on our own independantly published RPG, (which is almost finished!) It's more of a universal system, however.
My friend's using the system for a pony RPG he has on TVTropes, because the game system is that versatile, (and it's been test-played for balance for more than 6 years.) When I produce it, I want it to be done right the first time, y'know?
-
Ahh, D&D. A game I played since AD&D 2nd. Not so fond of 4, but... opinions.
Thanks for the warming welcome everypony!

Greetings fillies & gentle-colts alike.
I go by the name Eight Star, my personafied ponysona, (whom has appeared in a ponyfic that's up on fanfiction.net playing the role of a table-top game master.)
I've been a Role-Player for more than a decade, and I've been a writer for just about as long. I got into MLP after hearing Lauren Faust was in with it, and I haven't been disappointed with it. Recently, I've been even practicing myself into the MLP art-style, and with my previous experience as a Furry Artist, so I've been doing lots of ponies recently. Hehe...
I saw this place as a link while I was RPing Eight Star over on TVTropes, so here I am.
