  1. Well, I like a lot of different kinds of games. However, my top ten would have to be...

    1. Legend of Zelda (Skyward Sword looks promising)

    2. Super Mario Bros.

    3. Fallout

    4. Portal

    5. Elder Scrolls (New one coming out 11/11/11 SWEET)

    6. Star Fox

    7. Lego (Yes I know, but applesause, they are entertaining and funny)

    8. Assassin's Creed

    9. Metroid

    10. Dragon Age

Also, I work at a video game store. If you have any questions about upcoming games or new games that you can't find an answer for on the internets, feel free to ask and I'll try and answer :P

  2. Well, I'm a working brony, but I'm also a university brony. On my last semester actually. Although, seeing so many art, design, and computing ponies post kind of makes me hesitant to say my major, seeing as everypony here must be so super creative. But what the hay!

I'm an East Asian Studies major focusing on Japanese language, literary, and cultural studies, while also minoring in Chinese Studies... Basically I like to people watch :P

  3. Howdy, I work at a video game store. I usually work in the evening on weekdays and afternoons on weekends. And, before ya'll say anything, working at a video game store ain't all fun and games... 75% of the time maybe, but more often than not, you are behind the counter trying to explain to a 15 year old why you can't sell him an M rated game aimed at 17+, or explaining to a parent what is meant by "Partial Nudity" or full-out naughty bits while they are buying GTA or God of War for their 8-9 year old... And then they just stare at ya as if ya just accused them of being a bad parent.

Don't get me wrong though, overall I like it, but I just don't love it. I mean, I like video games and I like my co-workers because they are fun to talk to, and I'm used to dealing with irate customers but... oh the deary customers, how they do enjoy messing up a store. Not complaining, its just that I like to think if you take something off a shelf and decide you don't want it, you simply put it back where you got it from. I spend 40 minutes every night after closing rearranging the display walls, finding game cases on the floor, taking 360 games (green boxes) out of the Wii section (white boxes) and trying to figure out why people stick PS3 boxes in with the Strategy Guides. Also, its impossible to keep anything alphabetized, it can take well over an hour to finish a section only for it to last 30 minutes.

Still, I get a discount on my games, so I guess I can't complain too much :P

  4. Thank you for wishing me the best of luck! And thank you ya'll for the welcome. I already looked at the "Getting Started" section and read some of the things you ponies have on there. Very helpful indeed. I also took a quick look at the RP section and found it to be rather interesting. I don't quite get how it works though... I mean, I read the part that you submit your character for approval and even read some of the character descriptions that had been submitted. But I'm still not 100% up to speed. Is there a storyline to follow or general premise? If anypony can point me in the right direction, I'll be much obliged and mosey on over there and check it out. Still, for now I'll just read on through the other sections of the forum. Nice to meed ya'll again :P

  5. Howdy everypony, pleasure to make your acquaintance. :)

Umm, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to include in this intro or how long is appropriate, so please bare with me as I try and cover my basics... Or what I assume are the basics judging from the other intros I read. If I go beyond the basics, then just feel free to read the parts you think should be basics and view the rest as ramblings. Kind of like this... Moving on.

HI, again, I'm 26 and about to graduate from university. I have many nicknames, but most ponies seem content with Jim, although that is not my name, it is the shortening of a nickname. I work at a video game store, but aspire to be an English teacher. I'm a crafty person in the sense that I'm very kinetic and love to do and build things with my hands which has led to many hobbies... But I lack the ability to draw. I have been an avid fan of MLP;FiM since a month ago or so. I was somewhat hesitant at first, not knowing what to expect out of it, but I haven't looked back since.

After finding a discussion about college bronies on http://www.equestriadaily.com/, I began wondering how it would be to just join up with other fellow bronies and, as such, moseyed on over here after doing a quick search. I did not realize this was an RP forum, never done an RP forum before... Or RP in general. Still, I'll try anything once if it seems fun. :P

So umm, yeah, nice to meet you all again. Please feel free to ask about anything your curious about, I'm sure I'll be able to answer it. I'm pretty sure once I get my hoofs wet to this whole RP thing I'll be a regular... Free time allowing that is B)
