66) Make an effort to give your pony a pony name. Midnight Star is a good pony name. Ebony Darkstar is a poor pony name, though still barely acceptable despite the cheesiness. Rebecca Raven Blackheart is a terrible pony name. Human names should be avoided at all costs (Pinkamena Diane Pie gets a pass because it's Pinkie)

I'll be doing the same thing I do every Halloween: nothing.

Oh I'm sure someone I know will be going off to a costume party or something, but I'm not really interested in it. We don't even get trick or treaters here.

She briefly wondered what it would be like to have fingers and claws on the ends of her hooves. Would probably look rather silly. Though maybe if she had a beak to go with it...

A nearby bush rustled as a shape darted out of it. A blur of aquamarine and blue-white that then jumped behind a trash can. Then dashing out again to hide behind a cart being pulled by a hulking stallion. The cart moved on, with the tip tap of hooves lightly touching the ground following behind it.

Finally, the mysterious being found itself behind Bon Bon's stall, scanning the contents with an appraising eye.

Slowly, carefully, it opened the cover of the nearest box, with a flash of golden magic. Yes, this was it! The perfect crime! A single chocolate (dark, cream-filled) levitated it's way out of the box...

"Ah-ah-ah-AAAAHH-CHOO!"

And if Lyra hadn't sneezed she would have gotten away with it. The sweet dropped back into the box unceremoniously.

I've heard of Pokemon Conquest. There goes the whole "Pokemon are not tools of war" idea, right out the window. XD But I find the game interesting and I might consider getting it.

It's fun so far, though not a patch on the regular series. It's still early days though, so I'll give it a while longer before I give a full verdict.

Well, I find that hacking pokemon really defeats one of the purposes of the game, since if pokemon were really that easy to collect, it wouldn't be much of a challenge. But if you put it that way with the whole even pokemon thing, then I say go for it!

Well, it's not so much for collecting pokemon as it is tweaking them. i.e. "I have this pokemon I want to add to my team, but it has the wrong nature/ability/gender etc."

This question of the week is...."If you were a Pokemon, which Pokemon would you be?" Note that there is a difference between being a Pokemon, and your favorite Pokemon.

Tough call. Absol is one of my favs, so that would be tempting, but I'd probably go for something with psychic powers because I love that kind of stuff. Maybe Alakazam for the crazy-high intelligence, Hypno for hypnotic powers, or Gardevoir because the other two are ugly XD Honourable mention to Espeon, who is really cool but loses out due to lack of hands.

I picked up a copy of Pokemon Conquest the other day. Fun, but kinda weird too. XD

Now, a serious question: What is everyone's opinions on hacking pokemon? I ask because I found out that there are far less pokemon on the dream world than I thought there'd be. Rare pokemon with Dream World abilities, such as all the starters, ditto, a few legends etc. don't show up unless it's an event. And these events are rare and in Japan only for many of them. It annoys me that these kinds of pokemon are unavailble for regular gameplay. In fact, random abilities and natures annoy me too. I just want to get the pokemon I want and fight with it darn it! So, I'm thinking about picking up an Action Replay. I'd stick with random IVs and probably wouldn't hack shinies, but I'd just want to find a pokemon I want, hack it so that it has the nature/ability I want, maybe add EVs I want, and then that's it. Just speed the whole process up, y'know? Is that really so wrong?

I went with Squirtle. Partially because it evolves into a friggin' tank and partially because everyone choose Charizard anyway

Actually, I think my first play through of red had a charizard. Not sure, I don't have the game anymore.

I would like to trade/battle. This weekend if possible. I have a couple of oshawotts I'd like to trade for tepig/snivy, and I can also do 1 for 1 trades for version exclusives (I have white, need black).

I think I also have a Latios (I think. the male one.) on my Platinum version. Up for trade if anyone has any spare legends (I think I need ho-oh, lugia, celibi, and the water one from gen 4).

Sudden fridge logic: If Granny Smith was a changeling all this time, does that mean that most of the Apple family are half changeling? That might be a plot point in season 4. That was amazing, yes! I'd always hoped they'd show the Pincesses' parents, and Faust being the mother was perfect. I also loved how they introduced her. First appearance is curb-stomping Discord's daughter into the dirt? Ha! Didn't see it coming but it was awesome!
