I'm surprised that this topic is still going. I've pretty much stopped caring about this topic because all I see here are just different intepretations and speculation on how they work. As far as canonicity goes, it's still far too vague for me to get some depth out of them. =/ So rather than relying on the thoughts of others, I decided to just add on to the EoH while still making sense out of it. 'Cause currently, this is the only way for me to write this fic with Super Dash without involving Sonic again. Yes, I'm still going to do it, btw.

So, I've been thinking about this for a while now, and just yesterday, I have made my decision. I'm going to radically step my game up and write a professional fanfic, or at least in other words, write a fic that's actually good and gets posted on Equestria Daily instead of being an idiot and arguing with people who found my earlier fic bad... Seriously, that's how I acted earlier last month and last year. I don't know if these are the right forums to be looking for people that'll help me create the best fic that it can possibly be, but its worth a shot, really. So, in case you missed my earlier posts on these forums, I am the guy behind the fanonical concept of Super Rainbow Dash, who you've probably seen on deviantART before in the various pony groups. If not, let me refresh your memory/introduce her to you: This concept of a Super form for everybody's favorite blue pegasus speedster originally came into reality because I wanted one for her to match that OTHER blue speedster, Sonic the Hedgehog. And especially because she and Sonic are so goddamn alike, it's not even funny. This design of her was slowly being created in my mind sometime during last Summer, when I just got into watching the show. As I slowly became a brony and finished up season 1, that was when I finally decided to incorporate her into my existing Sonic/Klonoa fanfic storyline. In her first fic, the seven Chaos Emeralds had mysteriously arrived in Equestria by some force unknown to the world (it was actually the result of what happened in the previous fic in the storyline), with each one in the hooves of the Mane Six, two in Rainbow Dash's. After trying to figure out what they are, they all agreed to ask Princess Celestia the day later to see if she knew anything about these mysterious gemstones of untold power. Unbeknownst to them, though, a mysterious evil being had arrived in Equestria, posessing the body of an Ursa Major to do his evil deeds. Later that night, chaos erupts: Fluttershy gets gravely injured, the Ursa Major goes on a destructive rampage in Ponyville, and then decides to go after the Mane Six after sensing that the Chaos Emeralds, the only things that could stop him, were with them. Eventually, Rainbow Dash ends up to be the last pony standing with all seven Emeralds lying around her, with the rest of her friends down but not out. With the support of her friends, her strong will to defy the monster, and her staying true to her Element of Loyalty, Dash inadvertently awakens the Emeralds and transforms, much to the monster's horror. Cocky and confident, Super Dash then proceeds to battle the monster, eventually defeating him with the Super Sonic Rainboom. The next fic afterwards has her easily defeating Discord, but then, the evil spirit from earlier returns and...basically, a big plot twist relevant to the overall storyline occurs. I won't say anymore. Thus, onto the point of this topic... Recently, I ran into some very interesting theories about Rainbow Dash...about her having the strongest connection to the Elements of Harmony. In a nutshell, basically, along with the magic of friendship, her very strong willpower is also what's powering the Elements, and that when they blasted both of the major antagonists, it was Dash's Sonic Rainboom energy that was being used. Hearing those theories about her had then made me regret using the Chaos Emeralds, objects from a franchise whose reputation has gone downhill over the years, to transform her in the first place. It was a major oversight on my part. So, with that, I have decided to put my currently ongoing storyline on the backburner and begin a new fic with those theories in mind. One that I'm now aiming to meet Equestria Daily's high quality standards with it. But that's not my only goal with it. My ultimate goal with this is to make Super Dash more known to the brony community and, ultimately, to the official showrunners themselves, if Hasbro's legal system allows for it ('Cause after all, Dash is still theirs. I just made up her Super form, that's all. So it should be doable without legal issues getting in the way.). Along with the fic, I'm planning to commission some of the big pony artists to do art of her as well as other things. But obviously, the fic's going to be the most important thing for me and, well...if I want to make this fic the best that it can be, then yeah, I'm definitely going to need some help. Proofreaders, story advisors, etc. So if you're interested, let me know, then. Wish me luck on this, and we will see how all of this go.

I see. I'm guessing you follow the Archie continuity? 'Cause in the games, there were always seven rainbow Emeralds. I don't read Archie, btw; I just follow the games. ...heh, rainbow emeralds... How VERY fitting. XD

Yeah, IMO, the best one in the series is definitely LV. The first Klonoa game, DtP, is also good, but aside from the tearjerking ending, its story wasn't as great and epic as LV. And yeah, it definitely needs a remake like DtP got. Actually, the producer said a while back that if the DtP Wiimake sold well, he said he'd do LV as well... Sadly, however, after his last blog post on IGN, he went into quiet mode. However, he IS currently working on a top-secret project, that much we know so far. Now we just gotta wait and see.

Ahem, apologies for necroposting, but I just thought I'd say that I'm Super-SonicGT on DA and yes, I'm the guy behind that white Super pegasus of Chaotic power known as Super Rainbow Dash, who you might have seen on DA through the various pony groups on there. Since the idea of Rainbow Dash going Super seemed to be getting favorites in the hundreds range with nearly every pic of her on DA, and were also featured in some of EqD's Drawfriends, honestly, I thought she would be at least known throughout these pony forums as well. But I guess I was wrong in the end, and basically overestimated her popularity. *shrug* Ah well, it's no biggie anyway. Just a pinch of curiosity on my tongue, that's all. ^_^ Now that I look back at it, indeed, it wouldn't have been hard to make them the Chaotic equivalent of the Elements of Harmony. But the fic I wrote with Super Dash defeating the Ursa Major was originally part of an ongoing storyline of mine, and since the Chaos Emeralds had teleported away after the events of the previous fic I wrote, I simply took advantage of that and made them land in Equestria, instead. Glad you found her design awesome, btw. ^_^

Ah, I see that someone (or somepony, rather. lol) here knows of Klonoa at least. That's awesome. Thanks, btw! ^_^

...hmm, wonder if I should've registered with a different, more familiar name? Ah well, either way, I guess I overestimated her popularity outside of DA. *shrug* =/ *goes to configure his sig*

Found this place via Google while searching for MLP forums and certain pony mentions, and just thought I'd join. These are the second MLP forums I've registered to, btw. Some of you may recognize me from DA, btw; at least I know one of them does since he mentioned my fic here and all. But for those of you who don't, well, all you need to know is that I'm a fic writer, a Sonic/Klonoa fan, and a general gamer. There's more, but I think I'll let the bronies who do know of me and my stuff do the rest. I've already read the rules, btw, so yeah, nice to meet you all. ^_^
