  1. I want to see this happen. She should be given cart-blanch, as should Genndy. Genndy Tartakovsky and Lauren Faust have done nothing but produce hits. Why are the studios hesitating with them??? Do they WANT to make money? All indications say no.... I have and always will give shows produced written or developed by either of those two. If there is such thing as genius for kids shows those two have got it.

    In fact... I think they should team up... Wait that may be a bad idea... the world may explode from awesomeness... I think that show would exceed 20% more awesome. Is that even possible? Surely it must be!

    Lauren Faust has only created one show, and it was based on a previous work. I think she does a fine job but it is understandable why studios wouldn't automatically make her cartoons

  2. Duplicating the success MLP has had with the brony fans will likely not work if they go in with the mindset of "How can we get the young adult male audience"

    Because the typical things the corporate workers at Hasbro will probably think will get the young adult male audience (pop culture references, hidden sex jokes, totally radical characters who use boss slang) aren't what made MLP popular with that audience. MLP became popular because the show had solid characters, had innocent optimistic humor, and above all was very sincere. You can't duplicate sincerity

  3. It seems like technology is inconsistent. Out of show context is that writers and animators throw in whatever based on what helps the story, makes an interesting visual, or makes a joke. In show explanation can be that they are in a period of rapid development but without rapid implementation. Technology seems far more advanced in the first season where there seemed to be few modern items and even trains ran on horse power. Second season we are seeing alot more technology but things like video games are still public, you aren't seeing alot in the home. My thinking is that through magic ponies can make and run high tech items but there is not enough manufacturing or infrastructure to bring it to the average pony. Twilight has some advance scientific gear but she is Celestia's personal student so she is an exception. Most advanced items are for use of the public or something that is expensive and rare like the cider machine

  4. In the 2nd season the CMC were explored more outside of the realm of crusading for cutie marks. We saw Sweetie Bell and Applejack doing more with family and the three of them had more episodes not focused on cutie marks. Its a new direction for the characters even if the characters themselves haven't changed much. Mostly we just saw more of them and different sides of them

  5. You know, I wished Applebuck Season wasn't so early in the season. They got AJ's one big weakness out of the way so early that she just seemed to perfect to me from that point forward, in season one at least. That's why I personally never warmed up to her. I could never relate to her, she's just too competent. ;D

    Why yes, AJ is the last one on my list of Mane 6 ponies. ^^;

    There is the sleep over episode, but Applejack doesn't shine much in season 1. Having her around however does help the other ponies since her being played pretty straight allows them to be more outlandish

  6. For fun. The best part though is you don't have to participate in it in any way, whether reading or writing. In the end only canon matters and most of this dream ships will never happen in canon.

    I don't have an issue with ship, my only issue is if someone insists their favorite ship is the only legitimate one or assigns orientation to the characters and insist they have to be that way. If people like FlutterDash or RarityDash or whatever, that's cool, just remember it isn't canon.

    Whats important is that half of the ship is Rainbow Dash

  7. From what I've seen most call centers are strict on attendance and being late due to the nature of the job requiring being able to estimate how many calls can be handled. A worker not being there throws this off. When I worked in a call center I kept calling in so I could pick up extra shifts at my main job and was told I would be fired if I kept it up. Your being fired probably came from above your immediate supervisors and they probably had no say in it.

    The best thing is to learn from what happened and if your supervisors think you are a good worker see if they will give you a reference
