  1. China only supports North Korea in the sense that a war would create a huge refugee problem for China. China doesn't want war. China has only opposed war against North Korea in the past due to the refugee problem. China has expressed that it is not on the same side as North Korea so if anything it would side with the UN on any sort of military actions

  2. Equestria is just a fictional country, (not a world) and no one is sure if it exists. And even so, it doesn't always mean that it's occurring on a different universe, it might even be closer than we think.

But then again, no one is certain if it actually exist. Just think it as something fictional for now.

I'm guessing alternate universes doesn't include fandom.

The FiM version was influenced by Faust playing with her toys as a child. Does that count as fandom? If not what does?

  3. That would be a good way to develop her. Now that I think about it, the other characters could be a little deeper when they aren't the main character as well.

I was watching Call of the Cutie recently when it occured to me her asking Applebloom if she likes to eat cupcakes then roping her into making cupcakes seems random when it is in fact a very calculated move to help out Applebloom without being blatent about it. I would like to see more of that rather then something happens, Pinkie Pie yells and pulls out a random prop and everybody ignores her.

  4. I want some more consistency with Pinkie Pie. When an episode is about her she shows depth and that there is more to her then random jokes and parties but if the episode isn't about her she doesn't do anything but give non-sequiters. How about she gives some insight once in a while or does something other then make random jokes

  5. I don't think Sweetie realizes how well she can sing, if she did it would help her confidence.

I really hope they get their cutie marks next season. It will make a great moment for the series, and the entie cutie mark search thing has been played out. Their best episodes have nothing to do with crusading

  6. I think the third season had better fan service then the second season without trying as hard. Second season seemed like it was trying to make reaction faces constantly. The fan service that came from the third season was more from premsises fans were clamoring for, Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo, Trixie returning, Rainbow Dash being a Wonderbolt, Rarity appearing as little as possible, they were doing what fans wanted while not filling the episodes with internet references or trying to be edgy

  7. I'd pay money for an episode that dealt with the 'Background Ponies'. What Ponyville is like when the Mane Six are somewhere else.....

That could be very fun. They could bookend it like they did with Just for Sidekicks with the mane six going off on the adventure at the begining, then showing them return at the end. The inbetween could be a series of shorts with the background characters going about their lives when the mane characters aren't there destroying things and causing monster attacks

  8. Nopony felt out of character to me.

I will agree it was not as good as the previous comics but it is a set up for the new story. It appears they are going to go from one adventure straight to the next which is going to lead to some awkwardness during the set up. If there is a comic with some downtime it makes it easier to ease into the new arc. You also have to consider that the ony comics we have had so far are the begining adventure which is going to have everything they could throw into it backing it up

  9. I think the purpose of the crossover was mostly to show off additional animation skills by doing different style.

There is an edited version cut down to 22 minutes I hear is better then the longer version but I haven't checked it out myself. People say the edited version fixes the pacing issues

  10. It was a good animation project, but the things he needed to do for the animation project did not make it entertaining to watch. Coupled with the very poor writing it wasn't too entertaining. They probably should have been more focused on one idea and moved quicker

  11. I think as person who is actually a furry is one who has a fursona or has a connection to some sort of animal. I think many who claim to be furries are actually those with low self esteem or low self image who are drawn to the idea of being able to determind how they look (through creating their fursona) or by associating with a group that is often forced to defend itseld (which allows one to define himself as being persecuted)

In my experience people who are actually furries are less outragious or willing to start arguments over being a furry then those who feel a need to get attention or a sense of identity from whatever is conveniant.

  12. Giygue/Giygas from Mother/Earthbound is one of my favorite villains. The evolution of the character if simplistic yet fantastic. In mother Giygue is deafeated by the characters manipulating his emotions towards his adopted parents. In Earthbound you find out he has destroyed his physical body and emotions in order to overcome that weakness, resulting in an entity that can only be controlled by something called the "devil's machine" and when released is an uncontrollable source of power and emotion.

Another one of the greatest villiands of all time is Leland Stamper from Sometimes a Great Notion. Sometimes a Great Notion is one of the best novels of all time. Leland is amazing in how he is able to bring down a strong powerful character while still being sympathetic himself and unlike most antagonists he grows as a character and realizes how he himself is flawed.

  13. First off I find it odd you consider Family Guy a children's show. That seems like and off opinion. Immature doesn't equal kid's show.

I have some opinions on the furry community that may bias or complimate my opinion on it. I have no problem with furries, but I do think that most furries aren't part of the community because they actually are furries, but rather because they are drawn to a community where they are able to decide their physical appearences

I think liking Friendship is Magic has less to do with being a furry then it has to being a fan of cartoons in general. Many cartoons have non-human characters. If they are ponies, or monsters, or whatever doesn't determind if a person is a fan. If furries are fans of FiM it has to do with the fans being willing to accept cartoons as a legitiment form of media rather then the fact that the characters are ponies . FiM's relationship with the internet also is a big factor
