  1. Crescent spared a quick glance to check where Val was and saw he was hot on his tail "C'mon you got this just turn up the heat!" his concentration intesified as he made every wing beat count. Forcing himself past his normal limits. There was no way he was gonna lose this race o some random pegasus off the street, He was cloudsdale's best soon to be pro flier after all. He had to admit though this pony could handle himself in a race, not unlike a few of his competitors. Crescent saw the end of the market district approaching quickly and turned on the afterburners, so to speak.

  2. A purple pegasus made his way around the corner of a relatively quiet road in Canterlot. While he would much rather be streaking across the sky getting around quickly and showing off his hard earned speed, there werent many pegasi in Canterlot and flying would draw in onlookers. He wouldnt normally even be in Canterlot amongst the high class but he was visiting his Fillyfriend Felicity for the weekend. He looked around for something to entertain him in his boredom and came upon a peculiar sign. "Soldiers...adventurers...Madness manor...Swords and daggers...Adventure!" Crescent Blaze smiled inwardly it had been a long time since he had a chance to show off his combat skills. Though flying was what he strove to excel at Combat with most any weapon was his true special talent and the promise of showcasing himself in addition do a prize of somesort was virtually irresistible to the ambitious young stallion. He took off at full speed towards his home in cloudsdale, leaving nearby ponies dumbfounded by his sudden explosive launch. "Just a quick trip to pick up the family sword and i'll be on my way."

  3. "Awesome, we'l race to the end of the market district, onyourmarkgetsetGO!" He had been a little hasty with his countdown out of excitement and exploded out from in front of the store, pumping his wings furiously and and streamlining himself as much as possible. As the adrenaline rush hit him Crescent began going into hyper focused mode, nothing else mattered but the task at hand. He wasnt sure if this pony would be a challenge or not but he hoped he would at least give him a descent run.

  4. "I aught to have been going fast, I am Cloudsdale's top semi-pro flier after all." As much as he had been trying not to gloat as much lately he couldnt help it. he had just met this pony and he wanted to make a cool impression. "Why? you wanna test your skills against Crescent Blaze?" Crescent still hadnt gotten the urge to be daring out of his system and racing another pony maybe just what he needed.

  5. Crescent was about to lose it. He needed speed. He gave up on holding himself back and began rocketing himself around corners recklessly dodging and weaving between incoming pegasi. He sped up as he reached the market district as it was strait-away. He didnt even see the green adventurer open the door to the gem appraisal booth but instinctively swerved around it. He stopped abruptly, he had learned from experience that ponies usually didnt like it when that happened. He flew back to apologize."Hey sorry about that. Ive just been ansy to do some speed flying, and didnt see you open the door."

  6. Crescent Blaze leisurely soared, well leisurely for a racing pegasus, through a bright sky over clousdale. He felt as though he might literally die of boredom. His daily dose of adrenaline had been cut short by extended morning shifts at the weather factory and he wasnt scheduled for another race or show for days. He had already don his flight practice for the day and his mood was flagging. "UGH!!! theres nothing to do around here!" He threw his hooves up in despair as he rounded another corner.

  7. "WOO! THATS WHAT IM TALKIN ABOUT!" Crescent bellowed as he took off towards the storm cloud after Streak. He was over the top excited now, adrenaline already pumping through him, in anticipation on getting his daredevil moment of the day done. He focus narrowed just as it had before, and remembered to put his goggles down. He chased closely after Streak figuring he could practice his agility by staying as tight on the slight pegasus's trail as possible. He braced himself for the rapidly changing winds of the storm.

  8. i was wondering when the first one of these would be comin in. i was actually considering doing one myself. :) I like the idea of how his eyes and wings are different from the other changelings, it lets him be distinguished and it isnt just for no reason either.

  9. Crescent gave streak a flat look that said "really? your gonna be THAT guy?". Streak's comment had kinda killed his mood, which only made him want to soar head long into the storm even more. His wings actually twitched a few times at the thought of dodging a few bolts and riding the hurly burly air currents that swirled within the storm, it was an enticign thought to say the least. "Seriously, Streak? I may still be semi-pro but I'm no novice flier, i can handle some storm clouds. I'm with gale on this one. I still have yet see some serious action today, the sewers were fun but i do that all the time, and my wings are still itching for a challenge." Still, Crescent wasn't going to play around in that cloud if Streak didnt approve. Going against the advice of a wonderbolt would reflect poorly on him, especially one of the core 6 fliers, whether or not things turned out ok. for now he stayed put hoping the wonderbolt would change his mind. he turned his attention to the tan pegasus. "Hey I dont think I ever caught you name friend. you from around here?"

  10. "Why do I have a feeling we're going in there?"

Crescent turned to the tan pegasus. "Cause that would be awesome! Besides a little wind and lightning never killed anypony, nothing to lose your feathers over. well unless you fall. then i guess it gets a bit dangerous...Oh now I gotta do it! its been so long since i got to fly a storm." Crescent hovered, awaiting the wonderbolts to signal another take of when he saw a weather mare approaching from the storm system and raised his goggles to his forehead. This mare seemed to know gale. he lowered himself back onto the cloud next to gale waiting for the introductions to be over with, he didnt want to lose his rush.

  11. Crescent zipped up out the tubes just behind the two wonderbolts. he hovered away for a moment wondering if the other pagasus made it through alright. he alighted softly on the cloud next to streak. just as he finished saying something about not putting ponies in danger. "Wow that was fun! but can we try something harder next? I run that route a lot it wasnt too much of a challenge. And im always up for something risky! wheres the fun in life if you dont take chances now and then?"

  12. "oh...clever." Crescent was well aware of the dead end rapidly approaching as he had made the mistake of continuing down this pipe in his first few explorations down here. He quickly swerved into the slightly smaller auxiliary pipe that would lead him out into the main facility where he would be let out into the sky again, half hoping the tan pony wouldnt know the way so he could get a good laugh.

OOC: really ashton...Croissant? ketchup? actually thats pretty hilarious lol

  13. "Ah so thats what they meant. Piece o cake.", Crescent thought. Crescent followed them into the pipes working his way through them at high speed, he was very familiar with their inner workings,. He proceeded to do a few barrel rolls and twists as he went around corners, as he had run this route plenty of times when showing up for work; to the utter dismay of his boss who had reprimanded him more than once for doing it. "YEEEEHAAAAHH!!! IS THAT ALL YOU GOT!?" he hollered keeping a tight tail on Gale and Streak.

  14. Crescent timed the countdown just like he would for a race, becoming more and more pumped with every number. When streak hit 1 Crescent rocketed himself downward gaining the necessary speed and began following the wonderbolts by about 2 ponies lengths. He was flying with the wonderbolts! it was a once in a lifetime experience, but he pushed the thought out his mind as a nagging feeling edged its way in,"wait...they never explained what we're doing." he thought to himself briefly before turning his full attention to not losing the 2 ponies in front of him. With that quick realization Crescent pushed himself to stay completely concentrated on the task at hand. He judged that by their direction that they must be heading for the rainbow factory, where he worked.

  15. "Tell me how to get it done and i'll be ready to go." Crescent wasnt familiar with the terms Streak used for those moves but that didnt shake his confidence in the slightest. He was always up for trying something new, especially if it was a challenge. he did a few aerial stretches as was his norm before doing anything rigorous, awaiting the wonderbolt's instructions.

  16. "Umm...what do you mean A and B? Wouldnt A be harder than B? Cause i could probably get an A on any flying test." Crescent ask trying to squeeze just a little bit of flying cred in there. "Whatever. Doesnt really matter i guess. Just show me what to do!" Crescent was getting pumped trying to get his adrenaline going again in preparation for trying to impress the wonderbolts. Tightening his focus once more, he lowered his own goggle over his eyes. He thought that maybe if he was in good with them they might remember him and mention him to other teams, who might ask him to join, or ponies who might be interested in sponsoring him.

  17. Crescent looked at Streak's strikingly slim yet athletic physique, and then down at himself. He was fit and not overly muscular, but he was taller and broader than streak, which made him look downright bulky compared to the famous pegasis. years of combat training had built him up in many ways, speed, strength and stamina surely, but not agility or dexterity as the two wonderbolts mentioned was key. Feeling a bit depressed he said, "I dont think I could ever let myself get as thin as you, not with the combat training i do. There's no way i could give that up though, its a family tradition, its just too important to me..." Uncharacteristically his mood had flagged severely, for a moment he wondered if it was actually possible for him to be a professional with the body he had. He brushed the thought aside, his infallible confidence returning, "No, i'll find a way, I always have. Quitting was never an option!" his good mood had returned with the reclamation of his ambition. Crescent heard Gale's remark about a training session and with the return of his high he jumped on the opportunity. "A training session with the wonderbolts!? How could i say no?" In his excitement he did a loop coming back to the group beaming ear to ear.

  18. "Going pro is the only thing i have EVER wanted and worked for since i earned my cutie mark." his tone more serious now, "It may not be for flying, but that's never stopped me. I guess it must be the team player thing. I dont mind sharing the spotlight but-. I dont know, i guess depending on somepony else to help me succeed just feels...well embarrassing. And actually speaking of practice that's just what i was doing when i nearly ran into your little funnel cloud over there! Sorry i almost messed it up. I tend to get rather hyper focused on whatever it is im doing, especially flying."

  19. " AND YOU!!! YOUR STREAK! oh man this is crazy! oh sorry i gues i shouldnt say your names so loud. Anyway I'm wondering, well could you guys maybe give me some pointers? im trying to go pro and i think im good enough but no team seems to want me and sponsors ignore me." he looked at streak and gale hopefully, maybe they held the secret to busting out of the semi-pro doldrums! Crescent completely ignored the griffin, he had actually forgotten about him in his excitement. "Oh i forgot to introduce myself! Im Crescent Blaze, I race in Cloudsdale's semi-pro circuit."

  20. "I appologize, I thought we have made it large enough that anypony who would see it before they ran into it..."

Crescent was flattered and took a bit of a nonchalant look. Rubbing his hoof on his chest, like it was no big deal that this pony thought he was so awesome, but when the Griffin began schmoozing him as well, the jig was up. Crescent was aware he had skills but no pony had ever just started complimenting him out of nowhere. He was about to throw a sharp comment back at them about how they must they're hilarious, when the other pegasi came in,

"You two don't need to inflate his ego so much, it was his own fault since we are up here high enough where others don't tend to fly, if he wasn't paying attention that was due to his own negligence not anything of Streak or I's doing"

the sucking up had been one thing but now this pony was trying to blame the whole fiasco on Crescent! "Well excuse me if i dont expect there to be Funnel clouds right outside of a busy city! I was just doing some-...wait" Crescent had seen this pony before, but he was having trouble placing him. "Have we met you seem REALLY familiar, maybe at the track? you must be a racer-" then it hit him. Recognizing the famous pegasus his mood went from agitated to thankful for this chance encounter, completely forgetting about the funnel cloud "Holy sweet baby celestia! your Gale from the wonderbolts! Oh man you gotta tell me what its like being pro, ive been trying to work my up there forever!"

  21. Crescent Blaze was out practicing his routine, on the warm day in cloudsdale, getting ready for his next race. Looping and rolling outside the city at high speed, goggles down. He was nothing but a grey-purple blur to the regular passers by. Pulling up into a half loop to face the opposite direction he threw himself into a corkscrew maneuver. Coming out of the corkscrew he felt the adrenaline rush hit him and he doubled his velocity, grinning like the dare-devil he was. He looked down at the clouds rushing beneath him, trying to judge exactly how fast he was going. Upon looking up he was startled to see a large funnel cloud rushing to meet him! "WOAH WOAH WOAH!!!" he veered as hard to his right as he could just missing the swirling vortex. "Few...almost pulled my jacket off." He of course refered to his signature grey moto jacket. fully fanning his wings to slow to a stop he searched for the cause of the intrusive swirling mass of clouds, intending to give whoever made it a good piece of his mind. "Aha!" he saw the two ponies who seemed to be quite pleased with their handy work. While rushing up to meet the blue and orange pony he hollered "Hey you! What's the deal with the funnel cloud?! I almost flew right into it! You trying to get somepony killed?!"

  22. Crescent felt a bit violated having a feather plucked without his permission and tucked his wings in "Would you mind not doing that again? i like my feathers on my wings where they belong. So you say you have never seen a pegasus before, actually i've never seen a pony like you before. Who are you and where are you from exactly? And well, what exactly are you doing?" Crescent still couldnt be sure if this pony's intentions, and noticing the apparent warrior pony that had just ran up, kept a hoof on his sword. He had never even heard of a pony like this and feared it may be some kind of demon or malevolent other worldly creature.
