  1. [Actually that was Dusty.] Giza came back out with steel plates and started to repair his boots on the craftsman table behind the counter.
  2. He smiled at her as he turned to Dusty. "Interesting samples. Coal and Gold would be the most useful...but this will be on the house for all of the manic things that happened today." He took the steel boots and walked into the back with them. "I will be back in a moment after I get some steel."
  3. "He is not dangerous...He is just a bit brash." He said as he walked in. "As for your job, I would like for you to be the cashier."
  4. "Ah! Ms. Leaf. Perfect. I have a customer inside...as well as a dragon so be careful." He said as he opened the door.
  5. I would like a drawing of my Zebra but no rush. Can you also give the mark more of a tribal redesign? Thank you.
  6. "This time show me what you can do. Go out, get an ore and tools you can work with....also find a place nearby for your dragon friend." He said as he walked back inside. "I need to handle a customer."
  7. He gave a look before facehoofing again. "That is not true. Come with me." He walked outside to the forge as he saw Amy following him. "Sliver ore is far more soft than iron thus you need a stronger hand when melting and shaping it." He moved quickly and masterfully as he worked on her sword, giving it a straighter and stronger form. "This wood is from the Kumpoko tree. When breaded wrong, it becomes brittle but when added with just a little water, it becomes mighter than oak." He remade the handle placed it on the recreated blade. "There. Now it is decent." He gave it to Amy as he walked past. "...I want you to try again. I can't have my student not to know what they are doing." He smiled a bit.
  8. Giza checked Dusty and picked him up as Amy came to his side. He took one look at it and sighed. "If I wanted a pale imitation of my work, I would have asked for it. The handle is shotty and the metal is semi-impure....It is poor at best."
  9. Giza stood in Dunder's way. "No. Don't fight in here." He then ran to catch Dusty as he turned to Red. "Now behave yourself or I will send you outside again."
  10. "Hey! Put him down." He said to the dragon as he didn't notice Amy taking one of his swords. "He is a customer."
  11. "I will handle his order. Just get started on your test." He said calmly but sternly.
  12. "I am sorry. I wasn't expecting this." He said to Dusty as he turned to Red. "Please refrain from melting any of my work." He then looked at Amy. "Surprise me." He said simply taking a seat next to Dunder as he sighed, putting his hoof to his face. "Geez. And this is only my first day."
  13. "I would but I know you will not fit the front door. You can go to the back of the building and enter there." He said to the Dragon. He sighed. "If you can make something good, I will think about it, young mare. There is some wood and spare ore near the forge." He said to Amy as he walked inside.
  14. He raised his eyebrow at the squeaking pony. "A job?....Do you have any samples of your craft?" He asked.
  15. Giza didn't like that apology or his crappy attitude...but he knew fighting here and now was not the best thing to do. "Enough. Fighting will not solve anything." He said to Dunder. "Now you two tell me...who are you and why are you here?" He said to Red and Amy.
  16. "Dunder. Good to see you but right now...I am talking business." He turned back to the red dragon. "Yes. I am the owner of Black Metalworks. Now if you want work from me, I want you to say you are sorry to the ponies in the area for your brash display and mean it. Starting with Dunder." He said as he looked into the dragon's face, meaning business.
  17. He raised his eyebrow to the teenaged dragon. "First of all, My name is Giza. Not stripes. Second of all, I don't like the fact you addressed my store in such a manner. Now state your business in a calmer manner if you don't mind or I might not serve you at all, young dragon." He said sternly as he stared down the dragon with no fear.
  18. "Take your time. It is a big decision." He told him.
  19. Giza quickly got up as his store shook. "Yes. I did." He quickly ran outside to see what was the trouble.
  20. "Yes. I am. Welcome. How can I help you?" He said politely.
  21. "Sorry. I was thinking about my metalworks which is also in Canterlot." He corrected himself.
  22. "It is also in Canterlot. They work along side the Night Guard so be prepared to stay up most nights when you are on duty." He told him. "But that is enough of this talk. Is there a place a Zebra can get a drink?"
  23. It was a rather cloudy day in the rocky area of Canterlot but a familiar Zebra was hard act work fixing the sign on his small store. With a hammer in his teeth, he finished the sign with a smile. "There we go." He spat out the hammer and grabbed to sign in his teeth, reaching for the doorway as he put it on. "There." He stood back to look at the sign and his remodeled metal store. "Black Metalworks is open for business." He smiled as he walked in. He looked around to see his equipment, armor, bolts, nails, nuts, and many other metal craft on sale as his forge was burning outside. It wasn't much but it was his...and made him the most happy. He quickly changed the sign to open and went behind the counter, waiting for his first customer.
  24. "There are a few things here and there but nothing major. They mostly handle natural disasters evacutions and small border operations. There is some fighting but not much....but the pay is rather good." He told Dunder.
