1. ((Assuming direct control of Craftspony . I am also now changing time movement to one month.))

Month Four

Food and Water: Two Month two weeks worth of food. The bakery produces 1 weeks worth a week per pony assigned.

Population: 50 still

Equipment: Farmer tools, a makeshift oven, a temporary granary, some rudimentary weaponry, and a alchemy set. Nothing damaged.

Status: Metals and herbs brought back are non-poisonous. Metals include common ones, such as Copper, Iron, and even Coal, and even get to work on developing refinement methods out of their boredom (They were done in two weeks). Herbs of medicinal property were played around with, and are shown to be able to form potions, balms, etc. That could be used to heal pony injuries. Trees chopped down could build enough house for everypony, or half the houses and a two infrastructure buildings , while the fruit tree seeds planted in replacement would take... quite a long time (just not within the year). Summer Crops ready on Month 6.

Finally having some work to work with, Brawny Boulder sent five craftsponies to work on building proper wooden houses. At a pace that assured that the wooden houses wouldn't collapse in, it would take a month to build the houses. Three ponies were assigned to assist in irrigation efforts by the Farmer-Gatherers, helping the refinement of their design for that specific region. The remaining three began to build a forge, spending some time in the outer area of the caves to gather stone. This will take two weeks. Brawny remained as a director rather than helping, as well as studying the schematics for simple tools and weapons.

And so passes another month. The explorers returned back to the shoreline they spotted. The shoreline had pretty fine sand, and was facing the ocean. Scraps of seaweed were seen across the beach. Samples of sand and seaweed were taken back for analysis. As their incredible speed increased, the explorers expanded the boundaries of the map. South and Northward, were forests everywhere, and some small caves dotted towards the southern area. Far North, the landscape changed from fertile flatland to less than fertile flatland, Although it was considerably harder to farm here, many hardy herbs and plants grew here. Samples taken.

The irrigation process took a week with the combined efforts of the ponies working on it, and ploughing and planting was done relatively quickly within that time, Summer crops will be ready for harvest in two months they estimate, provided nothing goes wrong. They then set out to chop down fruit trees, to which they later planted their seeds elsewhere. Bread was baked for all to enjoy, finally freeing up space in the granary. The Guardsponies once again shifted their retinue, and some even wen along to help speed up the gathering process. But alas, there wasn't anything to fight. However, one guard did notice a shadowy figure as he came back from his shift.

The craftsponies used the wood to quickly build houses for the ponies. However, they set aside a fixed amount of wood to build a proper forge in order to exploit the metal that was found. There was still enough wood to finish a quarter more of the houses, but that was set aside in storage. They didn't do much, except for continue to toil on the houses, and some went out to gather materials such as stone, in order to improve their basic structures.

2. Take my advice and don't shove alot of electronics or high-tech equipment into the show. This subject is abit sketchy and inconsistent. Because one day you see Twilight using a EEG on Pinkie, the next you find out that Ponyville is near a Hydroelectric dam. Satellites, computers, spaceships, no. Too high tech. The most advanced thing shown thus far might've been the EEG, but it's non-commercial. I have yet to see any electronic device in MLP Canon (Show wise only. I'm excluding the Comics and EqG)

My two bits.

3. Month Three

Food and Water: One Month's worth of Food and Water. Though that field looks mighty good to harvest for me.

Population: 50 still

Equipment: Farmer tools, a makeshift oven, a temporary granary, some rudimentary weaponry.

Status: Field is ready for harvest, and thanks to the good care it received (and irrigation is properly in place), nothing was lost. Alchemists have set up. Maps have been made and backup copies exist. Granary has been constructed and stocked up. The bakery made can only process one week worth of food per day. Discovered territory see below. Plants also see below. No hostile attacks yet. Houses are still makeshift tents, but there has been progress in using the covered wagons as house material, the tarps being used to create a covered, central area of gathering.

And so as two more weeks pass, the ever-careful Farmers tended their crop and the craftsponies began to build the granary and irrigation system, the former taking shorter time. Now that the food was safely stored, the Farmer-Gathers could begin on baking bread. Meanwhile, all was quiet on the frontier, as no beast had begun to assault the little settlement. The ponies came and went about their work, be it to tend the fields or explore the area. But most activity was still based around their homes, as the area outside was still teeming with unknown dangers.

Speaking of exploring the unknown, the scouts sent out on a long-duration general survey turned up some interesting results. The Eastern caves contained what appeared to be metals, however since an on-spot appraisal was difficult, a sample was taken back to camp to be checked. Meanwhile, the those trees are quite sturdy and seem to be at their prime, ready to be chopped down. Adventuring down the Western forest revealed more fruits and at one point, one swore he could see a shoreline, but from their viewpoint it was unclear. Given their schedule, they neglected to divert to explore it fully, instead recording the location, before continuing on their way. North of the fields lay another section of the same river they came across, however, the land across was still flat and fertile. Although there were no wheat to be had, the ground was still assumed to be quite fertile, given the it's state.

As for the Alchemists, they finally began to set up to begin their experiments, some were sent out, though some went to the caves and helped assess the metals, their aid did not help with an onspot assessment. But they were able to assume that the caves contained more than they look, and possible deeper inside too. Those that went to the forests saw many herbs, flowers, and other helpful plants that would be applicable for medicinal purposes and possibly for miscellaneous purposes. Some samples were only taken though. Again, it was hard to do an onspot analysis of the plants properties without an immediate risk (playing it safe. I will always assume this, unless you say so. Mauled, sick, injured, poisoned and dysentery ponies can happen). They hope to use the lab in order to help identify what could done with these resources, which they considered a treasure.

4. I just finished watching whatever small bit was made of this show, and I have to admit, the 'Verse is epic. Anyone else have the same views about the show, or some conflicting ones, because I like the fact that they included characters actually speaking Chinese, but I winced everytime they did that because they made it sound like a slang language.

Small note: Not the thread to go "hurrdurrrevivefireflyhurrdurr" Really. This thread is for discussion about the TV show, which should have gone on longer.

5. ((Just try to remember I'm number crunching. Moving time forward for everyone due to no response. I'll give leniency))

Month Two, Spring.

Food & Water: Current is enough for one month and two weeks, the fruits currently collated only staving off a weeks worth of starvation (The regions are quite expansive, you just need to survey them, well, that's the explorer's job).

Population: Still 50

Equipment: Same as in OP post, but tents are now up, and are currently being upgraded to much more sturdier living.

Status: Defensive perimeter is set up, but so far nopony has spotted anything dangerous. Food supplies with a net total of being able to last until the end of this year are growing and will be ready to harvest in Two Months. Explorers doing a general survey lasting until Month two, Week two. Current harvested wheat is enough to turn into a month and two weeks worth of foot ((Hint hint start building Bakery, and Farmer-Gatherer's also do double duty as miners, and whatever that needs to be gathered, and the Granary requires resources to build, and building can only be done by the Craftsponies (unless inactive, then I'll takeover)))

Ponies laboured hard and fast in order to make up for the lost time. While 10 ponies wasn't really much, the amount of work done was surprisingly fast. Within weeks, a perimeter was already formed around the camp, the ponies instructed to keep their eyes open and weapons ready, insuring that whatever dangerous beasts are kept outside. Meanwhile, the explorers had set off on an extended survey of the surrounding region, leaving the camp for around a month so as to create a better report of the area. To the camp's North, however, the Farmer-Gatherers were hard at work, harvesting the already grown wheat and putting it into a makeshift granary, where a request has gone out to the Craftsponies to build a proper one, the Farmer-Gatherers go back to work on the fields, performing with efficiency what would've taken more than a week of planting Wheat. The Craftsponies began to reinforce the tents, making them a little more sturdier an bigger, so that they could withstand the elements, though someponies have suggested tearing down the wagons in order to use the materials to make new houses, some say that they would make a better granary than a highly guarded wooden tent-box.

However, the forests to the East had been left largely unexploited at the moment, and hence not much is still known about the cave, or even if it's an entire system where they could find metals and ores to be used to create new tools for when the old ones break, which isn't any time soon, but it never hurts to have more of one item, especially when the nearest, well stocked tool-smith is about a month's travel.

The estimates of the quotas to fulfil were made, and everypony found a little free time to explore and well... just be free, away from the city. Each night they danced and laughed, sung and told tales of the myths they heard. But they were a hardy bunch, unflinching at the weather, the danger, and the adventure. For the rest of the month, only one rain shower occurred, and it was light, but it gave the wheat some extra water, and anything marether nature was able to provide to the ponies was regarded as a blessing in disguise. But it was only Spring, and the colony had begun a month ago, there was still time to get things done before Winter and Autumn came, and by then, they knew that if they weren't prepared, they were going to have a rough time.

6. ((Everytime everypony else posts the actions they and whoever is under their leadership, contribute to the colony, I make a big post with all the fancy details and outcomes and some rp scenery to go with it. Usually, this "cycle" as I've called it, is usually three months, but since we're abit slow on the get go [that or my OP post was that descriptiveness], I hold final say on how much time has elapsed. Just think of any 4X game, like Civilizations 5, where I'm the game engine, and the rest of ye are players controlling one entity.))

7. ((Sure, once more I'll assume that the CM talent is your Leadership position, because that's exactly what the last three have done. Other than that, it checks out. Let's hope you can set up a perimeter before I unleash all matter of reality. And because I feel like stating it here for everyone again. You are the boss of whatever you must do. Your actions and what not will cycle for three months. Be descriptive in them, because I'm bad at implications in the early-morning/late-night))

8. ((Because I'm bored, I'm going to do a quick cycle to show what I really meant in above post. Remember! I don't do anything except relay the story to you and regulate it's progress. Think Civilizations game series, this is the last time I'm being generous. List out your actions as a leader! Don't imply or be unclear! And keep to minimum sentences! Be serious! There's a reason rpers are cap'd at five!))

Month one, Week 2

Food & Water: Enough for one month and 3 weeks

Population: Still 50

Equipment: Same as in OP post, but tents are now up.

Status: Homes are up, and the area was surveyed a little more extensively, but only the local area.

Most of the week was spent setting up living residences for everypony to stay in, as well as getting all the gear and food into a secure storage area, which was good, because by Thursday, a light drizzle lasting about ten minutes occurred, and everypony was glad to be dry atleast. So some volunteered to take a look around the local area, and survey parties left the campsite.

Those going to the plains in the North, there were some swaths of wheat that seemed to have matured enough to be harvested. Back at the river, while the presence of fish was confirmed, the ponies knew they couldn't eat its. Towards the East, a few ponies inspected the entrances to the natural caves, and found that the stone was hard, but easy to dislodge and shape. Meanwhile, those that headed to the west saw that the trees had, Apples, Oranges, Peaches, and other assorted tree fruits. Though the most common were Apples, Oranges and Peaches. Most fruits seemed ripe, though some were young. Without anything else to do, and satisfied that they had found out what they could about the land around them, the parties returned to camp, and reported their findings. The leaders took stock of the food wasted for the week, and were pleased to see that they still had enough to last a little under a month. Well disciplined ponies were good, and when everyone is a part of an community like this, working together to survive and thrive outside known civilization was the key thing.

9. ((Inpromptu OOC post, but you guys didn't specifically mention what position each of you will take. Alanoth because you're CM talent says so, I'm going to go on a highly hypothetical [in other words, a guess] that you're the Big boTravelaway, I'm going to do the same thing and assume that you're the Big boss of the Explorers. I wanted to get this rolling too, so I thought It'd be best to mention that you could post straight away.))

10. (You are a pony in Equestria, one of the founding members of an early colony, unnamed [remains so until I say]. There are five "leader" positions to fill. You will have a couple of ponies at your command to begin with. I post the results of your actions and whatever else occurs. My word is law. You only talk about your actions. Be detailed, I will not look for implied meaning, hence action min 3 sentences please :) How it works is that I will make a major post on how things are going, and your plausible actions, then after you have posted your actions, I am going to make big post again. I will be realistic in penalties (if you decide to research something that won't help in the current time, I will 'hint' you. After positions are filled, I'm closing thread, so it's easy to manage. Forum rules apply, but keep in mind this is before Equestria is what we know and love. Think the colonials of 15th century, and yes. Even if we don't like it, very bad things can happen (nothing too rulebreaking though).

Positions to fill (First come first serve, unless you work something out with person in PM):

*Farmer-Gatherers (In charge of getting food and water, and any raw materials for community): JotaroKujo

*Craftsponies (In charge of construction and creation of buildings, gear, etc) : Alanoth

Alchemists (Scientists) (In charge of researching new technologies, magics, and potions): stormchaser1991

Guardsponies (In charge of defending colony from threats, such as monsters, and other military tasks): AirForceBrony

Explorers (Surveyors) (In charge of, well... exploring the area around the colony, this can be stuff like resources, treasures, etc): Travelaway

Positions with * need to be filled first. Otherwise this won't go anywhere.I just need your name, age (adult obviously, no exceptions), CM talent (NOT YOUR POSITION), Position and anything else useful. Backstory if you want, please put effort, as it will influence my response what your character can do. Please be sensible in picking your position. I will penalize. I want to practice this kind of thing, but I can't do then when others just go 'meh'

Final note, each posting cycle (whenever I post again), counts as 3 months passing Regardless of what happens or how many posters there are. But I will wait until all have, and if not full, I will wait a little longer. Population increases every four cycles (a year) usually, though I may change this for it to make sense. Oh, and you cannot do another position's job without user consent, nor can your pony do two jobs. . Even if position not filled. Important things in bold or underlined. Please do not godmod, or try to do everything yourself (as a pony doing your job, you are a leader afterall). I will penalize. Pony races only. No Griffons, Changelings, etc.Now just sign these waivers... Good luck, have fun!)

Month one, Equestria

Food and Water: Enough for two cycles

Population: 50 (exclude "leaders")

Equipment: Enough to get basic shelter and resources running. Nothing to build full-fledge wood cabins or houses, just tents, farming tools, a few spears and swords, an alchemist's set, and some explorers tools. All are in a chain of three covered wagons, big enough for five ponies each without load.

The leader of the fifty brave stallions and mares raised a hoof. He took a second to pause, taking in the green fresh air. It has been a year since the Windegos were chased out of Equestria, but so much remained untouched. But all of that was behind them now. The area infront of him was quite spacious and open, ideal for setting up a house for everypony, and he also guessed that it was good for planting crops, as led to an even wider area, where the grass was considerably greener. Over to his right were what looked like hills, or mountains further in the distance, and somewhat closer were natural caves covered by a forest of tall and sturdy trees, so many that they covered up much of anything beyond. As the leader turned his head around the west, he could see that it was a slightly sloped area, again, many trees were seen. He could also see numerous varieties of fruit on some. He turned back to his herd, the brave souls, sacrificing civilization to begin anew. Most were shaken from having to ford a pretty wide river, and someponies talked about the tickling feeling of many fish going between their hooves as they crossed. It was a miracle nopony lost their way, they had heard other stories, rumours and tales, but none of it could stop them from this opportunity.

"Right ponies. We stop here, for our journey is over. We have come far and hard, but today, we build. Today, we take pride in the fact that we have broken off from our homes once again, only this time we didn't run because of the mistakes of our leaders, but we set off in search of adventure, discovery, and a home we can truly call ourselves, and... Forget it. Lets get to work ponies! We won't build ourselves." the leader wanted to get going. Dispensing with the enormous level of tradition was the first step. Though one wasn't overlooked. Another pony passed him a flag, one resembling that which flew over Canterlot, and the leader staked their flag to the ground, claiming this land for the rightful rulers.

The leaders that were pre-decided to fulfil a certain role, thanks to whatever traits they had, began tasking around the groups of ponies that had been assigned to them. Such was the advanced planning that the colony group was well prepared. Or so they think. Those hauling the wagons pulled them up right next to each other, and began to unload the gear from them, organizing them so it was easier for the others. Food and water, however, was kept inside the wagons, and closed, due to the fear of critters snacking on their provisions. The gear was there, and the ponies were tasked. The colony has just begun, and the ponies were ready to give it their all to stand the test of time.

11. My C&C was Tiberian Sun instead, but I still prefer the Red Alert universe. BUT, many of us still preferred anything made from Westwood, not the greedy franchise-destroying EA.

I wasn't born fast enough to play Tibby Sun. I only stumbled on RA2 because of some random joint with a computer loaded with the game. I did myself justice and I played the rest of the series though, enough to make me curse at all the EA RTS.

12. Warning! Although this RP is to have no Sexual/Excessive Violence/Other inappropriate things/Drugs, This rp concept still has some Mature elements. If you're uncomfortable with the heavy lack of friendship (mostly), tons of guns blazing, and tons of lawbreaking, and tons of other usual unsavoury content usual of an , retreat from this thread now. If you are also uncomfortable with me having absolute and final decision about the actions that occur in response to your actions, please also leave.

Equestria, Canterlot. 2075.

You walk by the bar as you do your daily rounds. Between the risk of getting mugged or geeked in broad daylight, and getting caught up in rain, your chances of lasting the harsh conditions of the neighbourhood lower each day. You lost your gun to some gangers running protection rackets. Your eyes shift in paranoia as you round the corner, more alert than even a cornered beast. You are prey, and underling of society, slightly above you is the predators, the gangs, the random strangers, and even further up, are the corporations. Superseding even local government and the Royal Court, their ground was extraterritorial, the laws of the city became irrelevant.

But those were the good days. Now, you're stuck in a dump, surrounded by the filth of society. Under normal circumstance, you would've been geeked, and faded into dust. But no, you are more than that. You are a survivor, you are a legend among commoners. Albit unsung and under-appreciated, you talent's are sought after by various employers, and your exploits are legend. As you finish reminiscing, you stand infront of a door, looking up at the sign. Coming to a familiar place lifts the spirits inside, as you enter and walk down the stairs, you're greeted by familiar faces. Though you ideas for "fighting the good fight" conflict, you all see friendly faces. For the time being of course. Most are motivated by the tons of bits. You nod your head and find your locker, entering a code into the keypad. It slides open and reveals a locker full of gear. Guns and assorted ammunition, a decent Commlink, a few odd bits and pieces too. You pick up a few of your things, and the Commlink, and turn it it, a message pops up in the corner, and you wave a hoof to open it. "Mr. Stallion has a job for you, you're late." You sigh as you hoof it back up top to join your client.

Welcome to the Canterlot sprawls, Chummer.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Shadowrun: Equestria is a roleplaying universe set in the context of the Shadowrun Universe. In the distant future where technology and magic meet, where in Equestria, good friendship becomes rare, as everypony is motivated by money. Giant Megacorporations now own more than Governments ever could. The Princesses are still there, but their power is naught to be seen anywhere, as their superiority has been overtaken by the combination of modern technology that has sprung up in the last fifty to sixty years.

Now, those unfortunate enough to be stuck on the streets face many dangers, such as gangs, random criminals, and Megacorporations. There are also anti-racial groups, and various creatures roaming free in the land. No one is safe, only safer. Megacorporation land requires you to be tracked with an embedded chip, and even then, you day job is just you slaving away at a desk job not even on minimal wage. Not a good prospect, since getting fired usually means you end up in the nearest gutter before being transferred to the morgue.

The Matrix was introduced in the face of a growing population, and quickly replaced magic-mail and conventional paper. Now Ponies use "Commlinks", devices with Augmented Reality (AR) to interact with the Matrix. And to go even further, they can "jack" (the process of interfacing with a data port directly) into Virutal Reality (VR) for full sensory experience. This of course came with dangers of unexpected memory loss, fried brains, and identity issues.

You are a Shadowrunner, a person who performs illegal or quasilegal ("technically" legal things) for clients and corporations, you live of money, and die by money. No matter how you got into the business, your job, is to get the work you're payed for done, and go home at the end of the day without another pony geeking you. You may be a Cyberhacker, refered to as a "Decker", for their tricked-out device called a Cyberdeck, which allows ease of hacking. You could be a street Samurai, a warrior with a code to follow as you do your grim deeds. You could be the Face of a group, a pony able to talk his or her way into places. You could even be a magician that casts magic.

In this universe, the magic already exists, so the technology was a long time coming, a growth spurt of technology occurred. Although the magical arts have improved over time, ponies who once had simple projectors, carts and picked Apples with their hooves now roam around in cars and working in boring and brightly lit offices, while others live in the low-lit underground, dealing all manners of decrepit things.

Extensive lore details (For the uninitiated into the Shadowrun Universe and for my, and your reference, and for those who need to understand my version of crossover Shadowrun universe) [WIP]

Corporations

Corporations are rated by their influence and power. This standard is set by the Court of Corporations, an organization led by a council of the most powerful AAA megacorporations to maintain order between themselves, and to punish those who openly strike against each other. They are categorized in to three tiers: A, AA, and AAA. A tier is the lowest level, held by most corporations. Though they are powerful in their own right and recognized by the organization, though can not stand against those higher. AA tier are the middle-tier Corporations that outclass the A tier, but can't compete with AAA. Some are capable of holding Extraterritorial status (On their turf, their laws override local laws), and some even have influence in other parts of Equestria. AAA tier are the best of the best, holding influence over Governments, and some have ties to the Princesses that allow them special perks. You do NOT want to mess with them. Ever

Known A level Corps:

Known AA level Corps:

SparkleTech: Devoted to the R&D of modern technology and magic, some people see this as the most accepting and generous of companies when it comes to employee treatment, but make no mistake. They are ruthless enough to send hired guns or Shadowrunners to assassinate you for leaking secrets. This in turn has them monopolizing the industry for R&D, as well as high-tech commercial gear and equipment, such as the revered Twilight Harmonius Cyberdeck.

Known AAA Tier Corps:

Armour Industries: The preferred brand of military and Corpsec soldiers, their guns can be seen used by almost everypony. And while not many can afford them, those that do love the added benefits they have over standard guns, such as an electronic bolt system, and inbuilt perks such as Smartgun systems and integrated accessories. They operate a subsidiary called Guardspony, a mercenary corporation that answers to them. Rumoured to be in good relations with SparkleTech, due to their combined R&D agreements.

Appleloosa & Co: One of the biggest Corporations, their influence over Equestria is enormous, due to the fact that they are one of the few producers of agricultural goods, and they are responsible for about 70% of food distribution throughout Equestria, effectively creating a monopoly. Although someponies might say that getting Apple-related products all the time gets a little boring for the taste buds, In order to expand their business, the corporation has begun to buyout smaller A and AA tier companies in order to widen their product selection.

Roleplayer details

You can play as the following races:

Earth Pony - The most common of the three metaponies (name given to collective pony race), they are strong and sturdy and big Though they come in many sizes and strengths, most are better suited for the hard-hitting jobs.

Pegasus - Second most common metapony, these ponies have wings that allowing to fly into the skies above (though not recommended for extended periods of time due to the pollution), their numbers have fallen in the past few years though, due to some going missing suddenly. Usually take stealthy roles or fast hitting roles such as Covert operations and adepts.

Unicorn - The only metapony capable of full magic use, they are often shunned by their breathearn, though not physically fast or strong, they are very intelligent, and most Unicorns are in high positions of importance. If you want to be a Magician, Technomancer, or Aspected Magician, you MUST be a Unicorn.

Diamond Dog - Big, dumb, crazy. Diamond dogs are the hard-hitters of the Equestrian society, living as the underdogs. Although most regard them as stupid, it's not true, most of the time :) . It's an alternate option for being an Earth pony if you want a little more heavy-hitting

Griffon - Majestic beasts of the sky, their lands were annexed in 2050s when Equestria underwent rapid expansion. They are a hardier but slower alternate to the Pegasus, but they can fly for a longer duration in smog-filled Equestria.

Changeling - Nopony knows how these creatures infiltrated Equestrian society, but they're not considered a metapony due to their unique origins. Rather, they are socially and ethnically shunned by society, never to get a SIN, work in a Corp, etc, they find life on the streets and sprawls. Although they have limited magical powers, their main focus of it is to shift into different forms. Anywhere there are tons of Earth Ponies, you can expect a hive community of Changelings too. They can only be a Aspected Magician, Mystic Adept or Adept. They cannot be Magicians in any way. Nb: No Matriarch/Queen. Regular Changelings only.

Forbidden Races: Dragons (In vanilla Shadowrun, their very presence is OP), Alicorns (I don't like them concepts, plus their is a heavily compromising way to become one), Seaponies (The costal area around Equestria has become too polluted, so they migrated out). Anything else that you wouldn't be able to play on standard WoE (Except for the races I list above)

Because of the various roles that opened up with the advent of the technological age, now even other species can hold and use limited levels of magic, while Unicorn powers have increase dramatically. Only Metaponies and Changlings can pursue any form of magic, Aspected Magician and Magician being restricted to only Unicorns, while Changelings and be everything but Magicians. But here are a list of common roles:

Street Samurai - Hard hitting, code abiding, super-trained, weapons master. I will allow them to start with two primary weapons and a sidearm.

Face - The pony with the words to charm. Not a lot of firepower. Starts with one gun, but has a list of contacts (only 2) (subject to my approval)

Covert Operator - Armed with a single gun, a sidearm. and a non-matrix related toolkit, the Shadows is literally where this archetype lives.

Decker - Smart guy with tons of digital tech in your team. One sidearm, and a Deck

Rigger - The "physical" version of the Decker, they control Drones. One sidearm, a RCC and one fully rigged and customized drones.

Technomancer - The Decker without a Deck, because his mind IS the Deck. Considered as weirdos and shunned for their strange abilities, Corps pay premium to do experiments on them. One sidearm

Magician/Apected Magician - Fully capable of magic, because they can do whatever they want with a wave of their horns. One sidearm and less than five magical goods to begin with. Those Aspected can only follow one line of magic.

Adept/Mystic Adept - Wannabe magicians that use magic to boost their physical abilities. Less than five magical goods and a "proper" Melee weapon (Eg. Sword, Hammer, Axe, etc) to begin with. Mystics lean more towards being like Magicians, but are still handicapped in a way. One sidearm and a few magical items.

These can be played around with to create combinations (In Shadowrun, your not fixed into a single roll, and it's dependent on your skills). However, I only ask that you at the most considering of options, that multirole characters should not excel at one role, but not as well as in their secondary role. Don't take three. I will ask for you to tone it down if I think the character's abilities will restrict another's level of involvement. And yes, First come, First serve.

You also get a gift pack from me, which includes:

- A Basic Commlink

- Extra clips (2) for your OWN weapons (Rigger gets one extra clip for drone is applicable)

- A Fake SIN and License of your choice (will explain later)

- One item of common rarity of your choice (if you can't decide, I'll just give you something when we get rolling)

- And a message leading you to your client's location (Roleplay stimuli)

Now, why inventory? Because I like to have some control at when you can and can't shoot, and the penalties for doing rash things, Yes, at times there's tons of shooty shooty, but you're supposed to be shadows. It's even in your jobs name. So I'll make some rp derpy things.

Ammo clip size:

8 for Pistols, heavy pistols, Shotguns and 6 for revolvers,

14 for machine pistols

30 for Assault rifles, SMGs

100 for HMGs

5 for Rifles (Sniper Rifles, hunting rifles, etc)

One for everything else.

Firing modes:

Single-Semi auto: Pretty much all guns.

Burst: Machine pistols, ARs, SMGs, HMGs

Full Auto: HMGs, SMGs, ARs

I know it's not realistic, but focusing on narrative and making it easier for those who have little knowledge of Shadowrun to join. If you have knowledge of Shadowrun things, feel free to flood your inventory with that kind of stuff, or play your char accordingly. Otherwise I'll assume you have a generic <weapon>, and one of the race choices, and one of the generic a roles.

Character Sheet! (AKA You application)

Name:

Gender:

Age (okay to use numbers if narrative descriptor):

Race:

Physique:

Features (Eye colour and coat and all that stuff):

Archetype/Skills (a little description is nice, please be reasonable if mixing things up, Magic and Machines don't mix well in this universe):

Inventory:

Contacts: (Everyone starts with one, but an Face archetype gets two)

Misc: (Anything else missing or extra)

And finally, some ground rules and extras:

1. I am narrator, Game master(?), and NPC master. Unless you can find some very, very proper argument and back it up with substantial evidence, my ruling is absolute and final
2. Becareful with what you write in Character sheet. I will assume many things from it, and base my responses off yours, and your skills.
3. While injury is highly possible, and Death is a slight possibility, I will not go overboard with descriptors. You shouldn't either. You should also act your part when downed.
4. I ask that you put effort into your roleplay please. As I mentioned in rule 2, I will respond according to your actions. At least a paragraph.
5. You can NOT play a DRAGON. No exceptions.
6. Forum rules remain in effect here. At worst during combat, things will be just flat out described when it comes to pain. Again, nothing overboard.
7. Please follow a posting order. make ONE post everytime I do, so I can tell my tale of awesomeness.
8. Watch your back
9. Shoot straight
10. Conserve your ammo
11. And NEVER deal with a Dragon
12. Have fun, chummers!

Any questions, characters and comments, please post below. GO!

13. I don't really have a lot, considering I prefer to where the mask of others rather than to assume a unique identity, however, I have stuck with a few, I could go back waaaaay into the past, but meh. Have a few:

Snipey - Oldest name. This was back in the day when MSN was the thing, and so after numerous attempts to find a more "unique" name (Come on, taking over fictional personas is boring, at least everyone I knew thought so). Of course, i didn't use my actual picture as profile picture, hence I cycled through various avatars, and on one of them, a picture of a soldier holding a dragunov to the side, made me think some completely inconsistent thoughts about how happy with would be to snipe, hence "Happy sniper" was cobbled to become "Snipey" Dun use the name anymore.

Harv0kz - "Ghost of Christmas Present" name. So after it became difficult to use Snipey in most games (username already taken - Bah!), I cycled through some more names based on military arms, vehicles, aircraft, etc. And one struck out the most: The Mil MI-28 "Havoc" (hence name origin). If you've seen the stats, of that attack helicopter, well... lets see... pretty good armour, tons of guns and missiles, just something someone young would be fascinated by.if he wanted to blow things up with a huge explosion. So a little bit of spunky modding and letter-arrangement, and thus "Harv0kz" was born.

Fightyshy - Whenever I feel like making people struggle to realize that they've been stomped by a Brony, I use this name. So lets have some more storytime:

Once upon a time, Harv0kz was converted into a brony. In his joy to spread friendship, he spread the word, and much to the chargin of others (I swear, at the time in school, I think I was one of the few. See, 80% of all did "cool kids stuff" 10% were ridiculously good at academics, and the last %10 were people who understood the internet). At this time, Harv0kz was still in an Minecraft "clan" (FYI group, society, whatever). I was exploring new territory for clan to conquer (Read: New server to pvp on), and I popped into a town, and said that I was like from some military clan and joined a town on impulse, only to find it devoid of military presence, and so I offered my hand to keep it safe. So yadayada a few months past. I used a default Fluttershy skin in clan uniform, when town government positions opened up. Head of Militia/Military affairs was 'nicknamed' "FightyFighty". And another clan member which I had on station with me said something about "Fightyshy", and so that name came to be. The end.

So TLDR: Turned brony, was in Minecraft Clan, prepared server for hostile takeover, manage to hit town government head of military, position nicknamed FightyFighty, someguy said Fightyshy, and thus I reigned destruction.

Yea, I prefer things I own to have a flashy story, that includes unique identities.

14. With regards to the pics in second link, I'm guessing the game will look like one of those competitive TCGs excepted themed as "kid-friendly-and-themed" card game that plays similar to games like MtG or Yugioh, or even that old Neopets TCGS if anyone remembers it. Given the already somewhat announced goods for sale on day one, I can image a cleaning of the shelves day one. Prices of collectors wanting holofoils would be high.

Since they claim to have done extensive amounts of research, I can also imagine tons of background chars and littles odds and ends from the show to appear as "common" cards to collect (I wouldn't want at least one major element of the show as a card every time I pick up a booster)

And as a footnote: Fluttershy+Critters themed deck FTW!! (If such a thing becomes possible)

15. kazookite, chummer, what is the reason of existence? Pie? Ponies? Incredibly pseudo-algorithmic generation of terms without any objective link? I'm sure it's the last one, most likely, yes. Have you ever wondered what it's like to be a bunch of digital code, I'm sure it'd be boring considering you'd only be ones and zeroes. What else... Spike is best pony? asdf for best train? Apocalyptic rainstorms are approaching, estimating a drop in trans-plastic shielding. Dunkelzahn for president.

16. Yeah, if anyone needs explaining on where these various ideas come from, either talk to me or use Google if you're still absolutely lost.

So hey everyone, I got a few ideas I'd like to pull out for rp. Most of these are just direct ponifications, but I'm going to try keep it so that the spilling over still remains natural to the feel of whatever is being crossed-over/ponified.

1. Warmachine/Hordes Crossover:

Basic description: Warmachine/Hordes is a tabletop set in the land of the Iron Kingdoms, otherwise known as Immoren. It's a Steampunk world with elements of Fantasy and magic, where factions are contested against each other for their own causes. What I like between the two is how both Warmachine and Hordes are different in terms of their canon (Warmachine: Steampunky with magic, Hordes: Full on fantasy.), as well GIANT STEAM ROBOTS, and GIANT FANTASY BEASTS. All in all, quite rich in exploitable content IMO.

The Idea: Add some ponies, set them as freelance/mercenary ponies, bind them all together with a contract, send them off on their way, and so begins their escapade through the ponified Iron Kingdoms. Regular adventure, filled with dodging enemies, fulfilling tasks, and so forth. I honestly want to try implement a rudimentary character stat system here, just to add unpredictability.

2. Dust Warfare/Tactic Crossover.

Basic description: WW2 Weird-War. Mechs, Gorillas, Zombies, Alien compounds, Jump troops. The year is 1947, and the world is literally still killing each other, the Axis are still there, the Allies broke their alliance with the USSR, who formed the Sino-Soviet Union (SSU) with China. Most WW2 elements still exist, it's just abit... sci-fi.

The Idea: This kinda setting makes a good, typical NLRvsSolar Empire scenario, however, this this idea can pan out in many ways. There is nothing that speaks specifically of mercenaries who seek wealth and so forth however, so this could end quickly if everyone is on separate sides, if people are on one side however, the story could go anywhere. I'm flexible with the mechanics here, maybe as far as to leave them behind for the good old fashioned descriptive rp.

3. Shadowrun Crossover

For those who don't know...: Shadowrun is a Cyberpunk Science-Fantasy game set in the 2050s (or 2070s, as is the background given in the 5th revision of it's rpg rules). In 2012, the "Awakening" brought back Magic to the world, giving rise to the usual fantasy creatures, orks, trolls, elves, etc. Since 2012, the usual cyberpunk technological advances came to, thanks to megacorporations, some which transcend national law, there is a gap between those who work for corporations, and those left to the cruel streets, where local gangs make their home. Players play as a "Shadowrunner", a guy (well, pony) who does "deniable" jobs for others, such as smuggling, killing, kidnapping, tracking, etc.

The role play idea...: The way I see, this can pan out in two ways:

1. Using the traditional landscape of Equestrian, the "Shadowrunners" can be "deniable mercenaries" who work for the various ponies of Equestria. Of course, typical outright death is not allowed. Something along the lines of covert sabotage or espionage would be in order. Technology would remain same, if not the advanced tech being exclusive to the pony.

2. Bring Ponies to the context of Shadowrun, by supplanting Equestria with massive sprawls of technology (because the fantasy element already kind of exists, so the awakening in this case would be something akin to mechanical or scientific enlightenment). Iconic towns and cities such as Canterlot, Ponyville, Cloudsdale would be "modernized" in a way that fits Shadowrun context. Megacorporations and institutes could be named after certain things in the show (eg. Rainbow Factory co., Sombra Industries, Apple Family Enterprises (AFE), Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns and Mechanics, etc). Of course, like option one, jobs will have to mellowed out as to comply with forum rules. But who says exploding buildings and covert operations (within limits ofc) are 18+ stuff.

For this option, I don't mind doing it using mechanics or purely through storytelling (Got Shadowrun 5e book.)

Went ahead and updated with a third option, and I'm bumping to see if anyone still wants to give these crazy ideas a shot.

17. Character Name: Ignius

Race: Earth Pony

Gender: Male

Coat colour: #660000 (Looks like a very dark shade of red, kinda like Blood Red)

Mane/Tail/Markings colour & Style: Mane is shortly cut and roughly arranged, as if it was ill maintained or neglected, shows signs of being cut in battle. Same goes for the tail, but most strands of hair are ill-placed. Both hair elements are coloured Dim grey. He has a scar on his left cheek, gained in battle with one of his more stronger opponents.

History: The colt of a retired warrior sired by a Stallion from Violi, his mother perished during a great upheaval after three years, far too young for Ignius to remember, and his Father worked his time around their small part of the province, keeping their townsfolk out of danger, repelling encroaching monsters and bandits. Life was hard, food was minimal at best, and free time was spent with his Father training with the axe and he sword. Although Ignius aspired to be more than just another pony forced into a life of a warrior, it was either his fierce temper against those who poked humorously about his parents or his limited perspective on academia that prevented him from going on with a normal life. Each day was a training routine of discipline, each session allowed him to master his weapons, to defend those he would be entrusted to when his Father would no longer be able to.

All that changed after one fight. A group of bullies was gaining ground in the school, and they were brutal, as their wrath extended to everyone, including Ignius. For days, they decided to make him the prime target, poking at his attitude, poking at his future, his family. Then they poked as his Mother. The fair mare who his Father had spoken of highly and dearly. He would not stand it. So he went up to their leader, and landed a hard punch at him. The others looked towards their leader, then back at Ignius, before charging at him. Try as he might, he was still outnumbered four-to-one, despite both skill and strength, it was clear that even when he took out two, he was tiring. And just as he was getting cornered, he felt a sudden surge of energy through him, different from adrenaline. With a surge of fury, he quickly delivered quick and painful, but not fatal blows to the other two, leaving them on the floor in pain. And just as he stood over their leader, he was stopped by a passing teacher, which after due process, he was expelled. Much to the chagrin of his Father, who hoped his training would keep the young colt's fiery spirit down, but it didn't, it went as far as to grant his Cutie Mark, an axe on fire.

Fast forward a few normal years, and Ignius joined his Father, the axe his favored blade, his strategy next to none, but his determination unbroken. At this point, his Father only taught basic discipline and survival in the realistic world, but when it came to battle, Ignius' spirit was next to none. But eventually, he would be pushed into another level. One day, a group of marauding bandits raided the town, setting ablaze structures, and taking the innocent captive, as this transpired, Ignius knew none of this, as he was out hunting, but when he returned, he was faced with a heart-wrenching scene. All ponies gone, a town burned out, and his Father's absence only made him assume the worst. Ignius thought that he would live on like his Father, and when he had his colt, he would teach him, and perhaps Ignius would cool down. But since fate had other plans, Ignius hated fate. He hated the bandits from their wanton destruction. He hated it all.

And as that anger grew, his judgement was clouded, and his perception of justice twisted. For him, there was no mourning and moving on, no attempts at happiness, and definitely no more family. Going back inside the remains of his house, he gathered his belongings, and when he was satisfied, left his home for the outside world. To hunt down those who committed such atrocities, to sate his hatred with the ending of scum, to ease his mind knowing that the devils who caused destruction were gone, and to satisfy his need for vengeance. And he would start, by severing the links to the heart.

((Abit violent history where I applied abit of Euphemism to keep it site-friendly. Tell me if it's still too violent, or not violent enough.))
