  1. Well, I would be up for doing something if Solven was in either Canterlot or Ponyville. Those are the only two cities I see Ice Storm being in at the moment, and she's my only Character at the moment.

This I can do. solven practically lives and travels between Canterlot and Ponyville, unless he has a very good reason. Maybe we can arrange something

  2. Hmm... I've written a English assignment on a Parody of the novel 1984 using ponies as the context, and the concepts from the said novel. Scored pretty high, and teacher liked the concept.

I ran into another brony (pegasis to be exact) at school, but most at school just turn a blind eye or are haters. I just ignore them and wear my pony shirts and a Derpy Keychain on my ID with pride.

  3. Solven was minding his own business, and unfortunately at the time, his brain just came up with a more simpler idea for the certain part of the plans, when suddenly.

    Bump

A few seconds later, and that area of the street seemed as if it had suddenly turned into a storm of messy papers, with two ponies dazed and confused on the ground. In the ensuring collision, Solven had also dropped more than his papers. His Autocross was also on the floor, exposed. He didn't like that, so the first opportunity his magic started to work for him again, he levitated the thing back into his slingbag, concealing it. Note to self: Read up on laws for self-defence weaponry. Now, not that Solven didn't care about the other pony, but he felt that apologizing might be the right course of action. Just in case.

"Terribly sorry, I should've been more careful about walking around these parts." Solven said. "I'll gather up and organize the papers." Solven's horn then glowed, and the papers started to fly into two separate piles. One he recognized as his own papers, another, some contraption with some purpose Solven didn't care about, but to looked like it was for farming.

"Well, I do have to admit though, accidentally shifting through your papers, I'd say some of your ideas would rival mine, then again, that's just me thinking out loud." Solven then levitated the papers to the other pony.

  4. ((I really can't think of a response for this, my char isnt't that accustomed to emotion. Think social awkward when emotions are in play, anyways, I'll try))

Solven didn't know what to do. He was left with a half pony thats hungry, and a partially insane Pegasus that flew off. Must be to tend to the bolt. Great, now I almost feel sorry for what I did. Solven approached Gravel, and slowly spoke, more out of fear "She'll be back, that quick move must've hurt her jaws or something. On the subject of food, shall we go hunt for some?"

  5. I just got my char accepted, but I'm out of luck trying ti find something that would be typical of my character to be in, so, I need some suggestions.

I'd prefer if Solven (my char, you can check me log for details) was stuck in either the Heartlands or the Foothills, though. I don't really mind the genre of rp though.

  6. ((Regarding the "See OP post", PM me for invite and explain how your char would fit into the story, then I will consider. If it doesn't fit, I'm sorry to say but it doesn't join. This was already planned with another person, but we both agreed on Semi-open))

Solven was travelling to Fillydelphia, as one of his older friends had asked him for a favour regarding some mechanical assistance. Having only been to Fillydelphia once, he wasn't familiar with the area, nor did he ever get the chance too, as they left the next day. Enough reminiscing, this place hasn't changed. Its the kind of place I'd stay in if I didn't have constraints. Solven quickly thought. As he made his way across the streets, with his Autocross ("You'll never know when some random bandit may jump out") and his slingbag, he looked around. Aircon stores, electricity, the idle chatter of two or more ponies, this place reminded Solven of Ponyville and Canterlot, albit with more mechanical devices floating around the place. Solven was also levitating some piles of paper, hastily sketched plans that his friend would understand, so Solven didn't have to explain by word of mouth... Hopefully.

He'd also hoped that because of the industry here, he may be able to gather a few parts that he desperately needs for another build, and above all, just enjoy Fillydelphhia while he was around, for it was rare that Solven ever left Canterlot, let alone The Hills or the Heartlands.

  7. I really want the new Chrysalis shirts... nothing to do with that thought.

I'm still quite "mad" I didn't get a Fluttershy in my blindbag. And the Keychain is cool. Hasn't broken yet, its quite resilient, I hang it next to my School ID. Like swag.

  8. TIme for me to final test my own system.

Character Summary: Starlight wasn't born as the brightest foal in his block, but his determination more than made up for it, although he got low grades at school, he knew a few other friends who helped him, while he helped them overcome the hardships of life, always lending a hand to those who need it. Some said that stupidity stopped one from becoming a Capsuleer, but Startlight's ambition drove him to be the best of his class, scoring multiple kills in simulations, sometimes with almost perfect precision. Such as that the military took notice. Starlight refused to join the military, instead, requested to be in the expeditionary regiments, that always pushed the boundaries of known-space, and sometimes the knowledge of Wormhole space. In his journey's he has seen most of what the known universe has to offer him, such as the Sleeper Drones in Wormhole space, the glorious ruins of another age, and Starlight even had the opportunity to fly alongside and dock inside a Titan class starship, which was one of his finer highlights in his life. He retired, from active exploration at an 26, and went to Lunnator space, to study more about his Mother's origins (His Mother was Lunnator, though died at Labour, Father was KIA a Gallantare and Aalpari skirmish). His time in the Lunnator republic has made him know the underdogs of the society better.

  9. Becoming Popular is the best song.

It was. Until I heard so many remixes, I just got sick of the same tune, over and over again. I have about 10+ of those said remixes on my playlist.

But back to topic, either This Day Aria or Love is in Bloom (extended of course). And Smile, Smile, Smile

  10. "Hmm. I guess the fault is also partly mine. After years of navigating the most treacherous of places, the first non-pony thing that looks threatening normally gets shot first, asked later."

Solven looked at the other mare hiding, he can't feel rage or contempt for that failed shot, infact, he was thinking that it may have been better that the bolt didn't hit.

"Well, you don't start turning me to stone again, my Crossbow stays where it is. I don't kill ponies. Now tell me, what are you doing here, in the not-so-deep part of the Everfree."

  11. ((Technically, I'm always online, you're the ones that are running past me.))

Solven instantly turned around at the sound of the snake-thing talking. Solven still didn't trust it enough, he kept his horn charged incase it wanted to tussle again. What the heck is going on nowadays... Solven looked around, and down to see if there were traps, quickly glancing. He checked that his things were still on his body, amongst those checks, he also noticed a small patch of grey forming on his body. Solven was no alchemist or biological doctor, but he knew enough from his travels that he was being turned to stone. And there was nothing he could do about it. Solven had to play his hooves again.

"If you want to talk, you can start by undoing your 'fancy shamancy' stone effects on me."

  12. ((Guys, not cool, you totally skipped a few posts without me...))

Solven used the moment to slink away, knowing that pissing off more than one being or entity was enough for the day, heck it was probably a lucky shot that he managed to hit her flesh, for it was aimed at her mane. Solven quickly holstered his Autocross, and snuck away as the two were conversing.

  13. ((No, me. You were hiding, remember?))

Feeling the force of being slammed into the tree, Solven quickly got up, trying to ignore the pain the best he can, and tried to channel his magic, which waned and wobbled, affecting his aim as he lifted his Autocross. "Screw this!" He instantly forced the magic to drop the weapon into his hands, and he took steady aim, careful to avoid the other pony. He held his breath, and let loose his shredder bolt.

  14. Ah crap.

Solven quickly spun around only to see a half-... snake? Half pony. Her threatening posture made Solven react by blind-firing three bolts from his Autocross, each just barely missing her? it? Solven then quickly pulled out a sharper and wider than usual bolt, slamming it into the loading cartridge of the crossbow.

"Take one slither closer and whatever you call a mane gets sliced off."

  15. ((For your information, its not a fully built mechanical construct, but a hand-held portable, the sound coming from the rattling of the firing mechanism))

As Solven approached the tree to pluck his bolts away, he noticed the one of the same mares from yesterday suddenly drop out of the tree, only to stare at his Autocross for a few seconds, before running away. confused by that, Solven just shrugged, and resumed pulling out the bolts from the tree carefully. When he was done, he loaded the thing again, because he knew that mares don't just randomly fall out of trees unless they're either trying something sneaky, or the Everfree was finally beginning to expand itself, and a monster was finally coming out. Solven kept an eye out as he began to walk back and prepare to do another test run, just as soon as he changes the tightness of one of the bolts.

  16. Inside Solven's room, the rising sun had rays peering through the windows, the town was still alseep at this time, but Solven was up, and had to finish calibrating his Autocross. The moon made way in sky, for the elder Princess's Celestial charge. The freshness of the morning wind hit Solven as he walked outside (the innkeep was already up, Solven had some light coffee to go, and a few quick bites), as he walked towards his favourite testing grounds: The fields between Ponyville and the Everfree forest. The winds were dying down, and just as Solven left the town's outskirts, other were already waking up, and doing morning duties. Solven's only duty was to slam a few crossbow bolts down a distance with a automatic crossbow that blended magic and machinery.

Finding a suitable tree in the field, Solven left a marker, and walked back approximately one-hundred meters, before raising on his hind-hooves, and taking aim by raising his Autocross with two hooves. It took years to master such a pose while shooting, another option was to use magic, but it was too simple for Solven, and he did want to eventually expand the number of ponies that could use this, regardless if they could levitate things or not. Checking to see that the first bolt was loaded he cocked the Autocross, and changed the setting to automatic. He held down on the trigger for five seconds, letting out a rapid spit of steel bolts, five that all landed on the tree at different places. Recoil damping to compensate to calibrations, of course I forgot them. He made a mental note in his mind, and walked up to collect his valuable ammunition, content with his weapon's performance.
