Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Midnight Blade Sex: Male Age: Young Stallion Species: Pegasus Eye Color: Blue Coat Color: Black Mane/Tail/Markings Color & Style: Light Blue/ Cyan tail and mane. Medium length, silky tail. Clothing: When in public, he wears a mask covering the top portion of his face with two incomplete circles as eye holes. The mask is the same color as his mane. Physique: Sleek and slender with a taller than average body size. Slightly more muscular than most ponies, with a lesser pronounced chest. Cutie Mark: A grey cloud lined with blue, with a pair of glorified golden wings outstretched behind it. Origin/ Residence: Born in the high regions of Cloudsdale, Midnight Blade resides in the hub of the town. Before he began to rent his apartment, though, his parents had purchased a small townhouse in the inner city. Soon, they opted for the more humble parts of town with less hustle and bustle leaving Midnight in town on his own. Occupation: A worker at the rainbow factory. Likes: Flying and performing aerobatics, solitude, moonlit walks, helping ponies, exploring the Everfree Forrest. Dislikes: Rudeness, gluttony, messy areas, loud noises of any kind, cheating, general hatred. Motivation: Midnight is a welcoming individual who enjoys his alone time. Ever since he was a colt, he strived to earn a position on a flight team. Although Midnight Blade dislikes busy schedules, he must learn to cope with one. The small moments of solitude motivate Midnight to achieve and perform better every time. General Summary: On a sunny day in Cloudsdale, a colt was born by the name of Midnight Blade. His loving parents brought him home and gave him all of the love and happiness a pony could wish for. From colthood, Midnight Blade was a welcoming person. Almost every day after flight school he would invite a friend to his house to play. This attribute made him one of the most well known and loved ponies in flight school. Midnight Blade enjoyed and made the most of every day in flight school. He even chose to take an extra class to enhance his aerobatics. A visit from the Wonderbolts, however, set his life in motion. Today was the day! Midnight Blade would finally see the amazing Wonderbolts! Eyes glistening, he listened intently to the inspiring speech that echoed through the clouds. "And I know that EACH and EVERY one of you young fliers will achieve greatness in the near future. Whether it be through speed or agility, you will all be impressive ponies when you grow up" This speech wasn't the usual half-hearted speeches given by famous ponies; these words meant more, especially to Midnight. From that day on, he vowed to earn his place on a flight team. After the speech came to a close, the Wonderbolts gathered in a "V" formation to perform their last trick. A triple corkscrew created a tornado in the middle of the stadium, and through the middle soared out the Wonderbolts, with a trail of black clouds riddled with patching of lightning in their wake. Midnight went home that night, and though to himself about the day. He knew that those words would never escape his mind. As the years passed, Midnight Blade grew bigger and stronger. He trained for hours on end to strengthen his flying and earn his position in the big leagues. He held races every once and a while with friends, and always treated the new ponies to a challenge before befriending them. Although the situation at school was at its peak, home was another story. As he became closer to his goal of becoming a professional flyer, his grew more and more distant from his parents. When he reached the age, he moved out and purchased a small apartment in the more affluent parts of town, but his parents decided that they would retire to the more simple life on the outskirts of town. Midnight Blade has not spoken to his parents since. When he was a young colt, he was, like many other ponies, on his quest to find his cutie mark. He searched high and low, far and wide, but came up empty handed. Having tried almost every Pegasus job he was eligible, he figured that he should try to find what he is best at. Before he went to flying school, he was a moderate flyer, but lacked the control a professional would possess. This unmistakable flaw would be impossible to mask, so he decided to better himself in the way of flying. He begged his parents to let him go to flight school, and after little convincing measures, they allowed him to audition. The audition took place in the main area of the Flight School that was in full view of the public and other trainers. The adrenaline pumping through his veins, Midnight Blade thrust himself onto the stage. The judges asked him to do his best, and provided them with a short nod. He readied his wings and pushed the air out from underneath him. He took off with great speed, which the judges noted in their pads. All was going as planned, until he lost control mid-back flip and crashed directly into a cloud shaped as a bush. Midnight received minimal injury. and shot back into the sky once more. He wowed the audience with his speed, but he lacked in agility. The judges noticed this, as well. When he finished his routine, the judges all gave him the same solemn look. The judges lined up next to Midnight Blade and held up one of his hoofs. The crowd shouted in delight and the smile on Midnight's face grew ever larger. His parents rushed to embrace their only son, and smothered him in hugs. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary except for the intense feeling of felicity, but his flank began to tingle. In a flash, a marking appeared on his flank. Midnight Blade's eyes began to tear with joy! He loved his cutie mark with all of his heart. To him, it symbolized freedom and the blazing speed he showed and continues to show. He continued to better himself in the art of flying and eventually received a job in the Cloudsdale Circuit, and eventually moved up in the ranks to become a semi- pro. This job was perfect for Midnight Blade, but it did not provide the money a pony needs to survive. He works part time at the rainbow factory, providing the bosses of the company with a reserve worker for any miscellaneous jobs that may need doing. He is still on the hunt for a professional flight team, and he is very close to being accepted in to the professional racing circuit. Although Midnight Blade may seem like a nearly perfect pony on the outside, he possess a few flaws that really define his character. Midnight was not usually one to boast about an achievement, but when it came to races, he became quite cocky. He kept his focus on completing the race until it was over, but when the challenge was through, he would bask in his glory for a while before dying down. This trait, however, has somewhat receded over the years, and is continuing to die down with each victory. Midnight Blade is a devoted racer, on the search for his true potential. This motivates him to do his best every performance, and never give up.

My favourite main cast pony/s: Rainbow Dash Hey! My name is Soaren. I'm not sure if anypony has seen or heard of me, but I'm sure everypony has heard of the Wonderbolts! Yep, Spitfire and I are doing well and we actually just finished a show a few hours ago. I just wanted to check in on this forum and see how everypony is doing. I would be thankful for any replies!
