    I've got a few friends who live in upside-down land too! Welcome from the northern hemisphere!

    My little brother has aspergers, though to be honest you really can't tell now a days. He gets better grades than I did going through school in fact!

    OH OH OH! I would so totally love it if you could do one of my OC Pharm Party! He's actually got a pretty simple design and a nice and easy color pallet to work with.

    Welcome aboard! 13? Whew it's kinda refreshing to see folks at that age taking up MLP! Honestly wish I had it during my VERY grouchy teen years (I didn't even have a REASON to grouch! I was just a grumpy pants.)

    Anyway welcome! That upperclassman you mentioned sounds like a good potential friend! You should see if you can meet up with them when your school year starts again... unless you're still in class! Then just go for it.

    I actually really like Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon. They bring a sense of realism to the show, because there really are kids and adults who are like that. The world needs brats! Not to mention despite how much you might hate them, you can't deny they are CUTE.

    Trixie falls under a similar category. Not to mention I've seen so many stories and fanfictions sympathizing her story I just can't bring myself to hate her D:

    I think the reason folks don't like Twist is the way her nose scrunches up, and her overtly heavy lisp. Like it's REALLY heavy. I know a few people with lisps, people MISSING teeth don't even lisp that much.

    Snails is kinda cute, but they projected that "dopey icky boy" thing onto those characters. They were made in an early episode long before they had an adult following, so they made boy characters how a fair number of girls that age view boys.

    Still hate Snips.

    Guys, c'mon. Let's be serious for a moment here.

    The show is made by a cabal of witches hired by Hasbro who preform obscene rites under each new moon to create the hypnotic combination of colors which they then broadcast globally via the net under the guise of iTunes downloads and various "Fan" Youtube posters (who are in reality Hasbro Acolytes).

    The witches travel to the ethereal plane to rest every summer, as their power is weakest on the summer solstice (a time when their mortal enemies, the Dryad, are most powerful).

    Once the first leaves of autumn begin to fall and the Veil becomes weaker with the approach of All Hallows Eve, the Cabal return to their rituals and incantations again to bring about the new season of pony.

    As a closely guarded prophecy foretells, the number of hypnotized adults globally will reach into the billions by the 5th cycle. Hasbro will air a final 'broadcast' which will be a cleverly disguised subliminal message calling Hasbro's sleeper army to arms. With over 1 billion soldiers permeating every aspect of every society, government, and military; total global dominion will take only a matter of hours.

    The Dryads of Fox entertainment have been working feverishly to try and undermine Hasbro's plans, but they learned far too late to be effective at stopping it. Their resources are too few, and their hypnotic magic is much weaker than the Cabal of Hasbro. They well attempt to rally the unaffected during the summer seasons to come. And before the 5th cycle begins, there will be a battle of wills across the net for supremacy. Casualties will number in the thousands.

  18. All Generation Tolerance?

    I'll be honest, G1 was pretty darn good considering it was a gender stereotyped show in the 80s. I sat through the entire second movie and I gotta say, the Smooze is actually pretty freaky and has a fairly dark concept.

    Unstoppable tidal wave of sludge filled with swimming eyes and mouths that mockingly laugh at you as it carpets the world in impenetrable black tar? Not to mention any living thing it touches that doesn't get completely smothered to death is wrought with despair, anger, and hatred... Sounds like something Lovecraft would create.

    Pretty sure that's where Lauren got the inspiration for Discordification, by the way. She DID watch the old show after all.

    G4 is freaking amazing, but you gotta give credit to the roots, G1 was pretty darngood for what they had to work with and when it was made.
