Raindrops is sad because it's sunny out. I know the feeling, I slept through the thunder storm that happened last night!

OKAY! So I fixed the nose (it was too flat) and the Ear (it was too big and not pointy enough.) Despite how frustrating this was, it was a great learning experience!

Also added some eye detail and a little more shine to the hair.

I'll be honest... her eyes seem so off to me. Thoth I may go back and re do her eyes. Maybe they're too big or... maybe they're too square- I dunno. Someone help me figure out what looks off about this?

Okay, so I'm going to edit-redo this. GOt some useful tips from a chat, Dont use this yet Thoth! I'mma make her face look less flat!

I'd like to be a potential applicant, though I'm gana have to read the story first (I can do that later tonight).

I'll put something together afterwords for an example of my work, then I'll let you decide if I'm an eligible applicant for one of the chapters. But at the moment I've got a request to finish before Killing Floor!

Honestly It's not that big a deal, it doesn't have to consume you and you should respect your parents lack of interest and not try to push the show on them, don't try to hide your interests but don't go out of your way to flaunt it either . Either way even if your parents wont support you just know /we/ will, that's what a community does after all

I'm gana get Raindrops done tonight for sure, then depending on how Killing Floor goes tomorrow I may get done with between 1 and 3 requests. Power died last night in hail storm, so I'm getting it done before my Killing Floor thing!

This thread is for artists to help each other work out the various kinks they come across with their art. Be it coloring, shape, or shading. I'll start with my current problem and hope I can get some help/advice.

I've been having trouble with art continuity lately. The thing that's been vexing my artistic consistency is how I draw mares faces. Or more specifically the nose/mouth part.

I threw this together because I need some help, which face style should I focus on for my current style? I left #six blank to serve as both a control and a base if anyone wants to try this out for themselves.

Also, if you know a better method for drawing a mares face, feel free to use #6 to show me! I'm banging my head against a wall about this.

If I somehow catch up and beat my request list and find myself sitting on an empty request slot, sure. But priority goes to folks who I haven't done work for yet.

I wrote a poem once! It's really vague and a little dark, though not exactly pony related. I came up with it while mowing the lawn one day, I can post it if you think it'll be a useful inspiration piece.

ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

Once I'm done with an avatar for each of the mane6 I'm going to open up a poll for four background ponies for people to choose. There won't be avatar requests between them, or during the poll (I'll work on other stuff).

Following the format of 4 requests between each canon request, there are about 8 request slots left unfilled.

Once I'm done with the avatars, I'll be moving on to another project which will also be community related.

Okay so I've been messing around with the servers and I hope I know what I'm doing now. I've got to make a listened server when we start up.

Dedicated servers are LAN, which of course wont work for us.

if anyone knows more of what to do, please let me know!

I actually stopped playing an MMO I'd been playing for about 7 years. I had been tapering for a while, but I loved the group I had been a part of for about 5 of those years. I might have given up something that I loved... but I gained something that I loved even more.
