So I just went and downloaded GIMP and I have NO idea what I'm doing or how it works yet. Anyone else use gimp that'd be willing to offer some pointers?

I've been using Paint tool Sai so far, what are the pros/cons in comparison between the two programs? is there a polygon tool in Gimp? Oh sweet Celestia I hope there is, I wana do some vecter art and gifs.

Recoloring the outlines for his hair would have taken hours... I think yellow/grey works decent enough. You choose which one you use Sketch.

Rainbow Dash is the next of the main six on the list, She'll be followed by Pinkie or AJ. I generally do two or three requests between each cast member to prevent burnout/brain cramps. Anyway, this is like my only finished (relatively speaking) story. It's been revised twice, turned away from EQD due to a few grammar/punctuation errors, and I'm sitting on a proof read version of the last chapter I still haven't looked at.

It's a four part gushy mushy touchy feely romancypancy FlutterPie ship fic. It's pretty PG except for the existence of lesbians and Fluttershy gets a booboo at some point. There's also a few awkwardly aimed butts, but other than that it's pretty innocent.

I'm not 100% sure what my point for posting this is. I guess read it if you've got some time and feels to spare.

Feedback, corrections, etcetera would be nice.

Also someone should tell me if I should just stick with drawing, or try and pick writing back up too. I'm still on the fence.

Sounds pretty good, I suggest the ascending line at 0.41 be played a second time and ending on a lower note than the previous rendition. As is it seems a little stand offish and out of place with the rest of the peace just on it's own. I'd also shorten the first half of the song a little and make the low notes of each line less flat.

P.S. I have no musical experience what so ever, I just listen a LOT.

UPDATE TIME

SketchKnight hasn't given me a colored reference yet sooooo...

Next up is going to be ether a free to anyone Rarity or Rainbow Dash icon. Yes they will be sporting eye-wear, I've decided to make it a thing. Glasses will be the new socks/juice box/turtle neck (What is it with us and dressing ponies up anyway?).

This means that I will be re-doing Fluttershy later, and making her SO much better. Expect each of the mane six to be sporting glasses of some sort and looking sexy/hawt/adorkable doing it. I'm open to suggestions on who to wear what, though I've already got an idea for Rarity.

Expect ether Dash or Rarity later this evening or tomorrow morning.

When you get the sticker/magnet maker do you plan to do commissions? I'd totally commission me some magnets.

Stickers are cool and kinda cool and cheaper to make, but magnets can be placed and replaced without leaving nasty residue. Just don't decorate your computer with it.

"Flying Feather" is probably my all time favorite. At one time a friend and I swapped all curse words with "Sherlock" for like a month, luls were had. We've occasionally caught each other saying "everypony" or "somepony" lately, and I like to throw in a good "Buck you" to spice things up. Our usual cursing gets kinda racy though as the night goes on, and we lean away from the pony ones due to fatigue.

I got a few good chuckles out of it.

Also I've always wanted to try horse meat. I hear it's really good.

Once this documentary is made public I will force everyone I know who's skeptical about Bronies to sit through this movie. I will tie down my own father and tape his eyes open if I must.

...Dang now I want bronycon to happen so they can start production! I've never wanted something cool I can't attend to happen so badly in my life.

Juniper was a little camera shy, so I had him focus his attention on a little light spell so he could smile.

I'm not entirely satisfied with how his hair turned out. It's hard to see the lighting detail on his bangs because they're a bright yellow. Maybe I'm just having an off day, or I'm just being too self critical.

How about popular ones. I know it's cheating, but the more popular something is, the more people hate it for no reason.

That has to do more with infamy vs. fame. For example, Cupcakes is infamous because it's brutal, not very well written, and the first shock/grimdark fic.

Past sins is famous because it's well written, detailed, pretty long, and one of the first high high quality fics.

It's all about content and how long it's been around.
