Geary smiled gently in response as commented "Yes it can get rather warm here, especially during the summer time. But not too over the top since Celestia doesnt want us to melt. So, temp's kept at a good level". Smiling, he took a pink donut before nomming on it; chugging down a cola with it as he smiled "Here in Ponyville, we try our best to extend a helping hoof to all those around us so that we can feel comfterable with ourselves, and not really have to change anything to what others want". Geary looked alittle downcasted at that, since at first when he was younger some of his former friends had tried to change him as they didnt want to be assotciated with a nerd. But as he grew, the whole nerd thing slowly went away so he didnt have to worry as much. "Oh there's an avaliable house next to Sugarcube Corner. It's got two stories, a kitchen, living room, two bathroom's, bed room, and a hang out room. I know this cause I almost lived there when I first moved here but it wasnt what I was looking for".

Val looked in awe at this whole situation. He couldnt believe that the legends were true, that sea ponies were real. Slowly getting next to Sandy, he smiled as he gently put a hoof around her shoulder. Nuzzling her gently, he smiled "Its really nice to meet you Moongazer" he greeted politlety. Hearing the pony saw Sandy's name, Val blinked "Wait..how..how did you know her name". Hearing her compliment Sandy, Val smiled as he gently wrapped his left wing around Sandy's waist; hugging her gently against his side. "Celestia yes, I've been blessed with the most beautiful mare in all of Equestria" he smiled at Sandy.

Blinking several times, Valoren sat up as he awoke in the middle of the night. He felt kinda strange actually, like he was really cold for some weird reason. Shivering, he looked outside and saw that it was a blizzard outside!! Snow was blowing, the wind was howling like crazy and everything that he had been hopping wouldnt happen, was happneing. Turning back to face Midnight, he was surprised to see that she was gone. "Midnight, where'd you go" Val asked aloud nervously as he wondered where she had gone. Stepping outside into the blizzard, he stared up into field as he could see Midnight!! Rushing towards her, Val galloped as fast as he could to reach her. This blizzard was getting more and more intense!! He had to get her out of..WHOA!! He was horrified to see a giant meteor, the size of a mountain coming down from the sky. It was heading straight towards Midnight!! "No" Val shouted horrified at the sight as it crashed into the ground, destroying everything in sight as Midnight vanished. A wave of fire approached him from the impact of the meteor!! Putting his hooves up to defend himself, Val was thrown off of his hooves and sent flying towards the tree!! Just as he was about to hit it, he woke up. "Uggh" he groaned as sun light blinded his vision. Staring out of the tree trunk as he spotted the sleeping Midnight, he thought "Just a dream, thank Celestia..". Looking her over gently, he smiled to himself thinking "She even looks cute when she's sleeping".

Well, I am now 22 years old. Gonna have a party with some friends, and I wanted to stop by and say hi to everypony before everyone showed up. *offers hugs*

Blushing from the praise, Geary smiled weakly "Aw, its no big deal. Im always looking to help out my fellow ponies by creating useful things that can make life easier". Nodding to her guess, he complimented "Good guess. Yup, its a librabry. Nah, dont worry about it. Surprisingly, parties get thrown here all the time for all the new comers. Mostly cause its pretty big I suppose. That and its a pretty easy clean up for the one who lives here". It was true since Twilight Sparkle really did seem to enjoy having new ponies party here. Sipping some cola from another punch bowl, he nodded "Yup, more or less. Newcomers are essential a pretty big deal here in ponyville, and we welcome all with open hooves".

"Really? Heh, maybe I am the colt main character and you dont even know it" joked Valoren lightly as he ran a hoof through his mane to exaggerate in being handesome. To really put up more on the haminess, he smirked as his teeth shinned. Giggling in response, he smiled "Yeah, some sleep would be ideal after the day I had. I wouldnt really mind switching back and forth with shifts. Hopefully we wont get attacked in the middle of the night since I am really looking forward to some sleep". Yawning tremendously, he sat back as he nuzzled up against a corner tired. The events had really done a number on him, and he just wanted to sleep and forget all about it.

Val thought that he was dreaming!! It..it couldnt be...co..could it? A sea pony right before him. Placing his nose against the bubble as he stared in awe, he watched as the pony playfully popped the bubble. "YAH" he gapsed as he fell into the water; getting completly soaked. Getting up, he spewed out some water from his mouth as he looked at the cheerful pony in amazement ."Sandy, this..this is incredible. I..Im completly blown away by what Im seeing here" he smiled in amamznet at the pony. Getting up, he offered a hoof to shake her..fin? "Ahh, hi. Im Valoren Seeker.." he introduced.

Geary blinked as he opened his mouth to respond as a spew of fruit punch went out and sturck some pony else. Smiling weakly at the other pony who looked around for whoever had spewed the fruit punch, he kept his head down and looked away for a moment so he wouldnt look guilty at all. "Always getting into trouble" he thought to himself. Shaking his mane, he smiled weaily as he responded "Err, its okay. Im abit of klutz at times myself so I really need to be careful and such". That was one of his problems really. As a genius in such, he was able to think up and come up with all sorts of ideas. The bad part was though, he could be abit absent minded with all his ideas. Blinking, he watched as a bubble suddenly surrounded his entire head. It sorta tickled actually as Geary let out a giggle from all the sud's absorbing against his skin. It then popped as all the stickiness was gone in a flash. "Wow, that was pretty cool" he complimented the unicorn as he wondered where she had learn such a trick? Looking down to notice her cutie mark, he nodded to himself "Ah, bubbles must be her special talent...whatever that means". Realizing she had introduced herself, he smiled lightly in return as he offered a hoof to shake hers. "Im Geary Twist, inventor and craftspony" he greeted cheerfully to the unicorn.

Once again Pinkie Pie was throwing a serious bash for one of them new ponies in town!!! Whilst these big social events weren't something that he went to all the time, Geary felt that it would only be right if he came to introduce himself to the new pony. Smiling, he sipped some fruit punch as he licked his lips from the delcious drink. This was typical of Miss Pie. She would always go all out to make ponies feel welcome in this town so that way no pony would ever feel lonely or shy. She did the same thing for him, and he had gone and created a few things for the party to help out. Like the cake froster, which automatically frosted the cake. The soda blender, that blended ingridents of certain sodas to make create an all new taste that was delicious for all. Yep, he really did have a knack for these things. Looking around the party, he wondered who the new pony was actually? All he could see was the words: WELCOME FIZZY. But he didnt know who Fizzy was!! Becoming nervous, he started to slowly look around to see if there was anypony that he didnt recognize!! But it was hard to say since alot of the ponies present he didnt really know. Not that he was unfriendly or kept to himself; but it was because he usually got so caught up in his inventions that he would simply forget the world around him and become lost in his work. A dangerous thing to do for one who wanted to make more friends. "Oof, scuse me. Ack, pardon me" apologized Geary as his eyes shifted from one corner of the room to the next for any sight at all of the new pony. Yet he couldnt find her!! Thinking that maybe some party games would help him, Geary approached the dart board as he plucked off some dart. Pulling back with accurate presicion, he tossed a dart and with competence; he nailed the target. Grinning in delight, he went to throw another when one pony bumped into him; causing him to accidently fail backwards as his head dunked into the fruit punch bowl from the pony. Blinking several times in shock as he tried to register what the hay had just happened, he lifted his head up from the punch bowl panting as his mane now dripped of fruit punch. Removing his dark sunglasses to wipe the fruit punch from the lenses; he than ran a hoof through his short mane to get the fruit punch out.

Val galloped faster, and faster and faster!! He felt like his legs were about to explode due to the fact that he was digging them rather roughly into the sides of the cliff, causing his hooves to ache. Yet he couldnt stop, not now!! If he ended up eaten by the dragon, then that would would leave Sandy all alone!! He couldnt do that to his marefriend!! if he was thinking cleary, then he would realize as a pegasus he could simply fly towards safety; but that would make mean he'd end up leaving Sandy. Charging like a minotaur towards the lake, Val blinked as he rubbed his eyes to see if he was seeing right, a glowing form had risen from the lake as it spoke in a soft female voice. Suddenly he was flying through the air towards the form as an unknown force swept him off his hooves as he crahsed into the lake; sinking into it as he failed to notice a large bubble started to surround him.

Wipping some sweat from his brow, Val stared at the other masked ponies nervously. This plan had to go off without a single hitch, or else he would risk blowing their cover. Peeking under the cloth, he whispered "Just keep your head down, and keep your voice quiet. If we get caught, then I doubt that these guys will be so polite as to say "Oh, please you can stay and spy on us". Pulling it back down, he gulped as somepony called for him to help push the heavy carriadge from behind. Nodding quickly, he rushed over and started to push as fast as he could.

Val sighed as his previous infaction with her was forgotten temporarlity as he smiled lightly in her direction. She was nervous, perhaps scared since the idea of becoming a leader of a rebellion was a rather frigthening idea. He'd be afaird too if he had to decided the constant fate of every single member. Still if she were to become leader, she wouldnt be alone. "It's true, your not like the main character. Your different. That is good" he assured as he sat down next to her. "We're you exactly like the main character, that would be very boring and therfore; not very exciting. Being leader is a scary idea I admit. But know this, we're you to become leader; you wouldnt be alone". Grinning lightly, he insited "I would be right there beside you as your..your..your advisor!! Yeah thats it!! Whenever unsure on ideas or notions; I would be there to help you out".

"Ahh, well yes I was in another world. I was ummm..thinking about" Val protested as he wracked his brain around and tried ot think of the first thing that would come to his mind. Getting something, he manged to shout out "Pizza!! I am.uh....thinking about some Pizza. With er...olives and umm..hay bits..it would be delcious to have right about now" laughed out Val weakly as he ran a hoof through his mane nervously, trying to get rid of all shyness. Seeing her focused look, he asked "Ahem, err what about you? What are you thinking about right now" he asked lightly.

Unforunatly, the dragon seemed to pick up on there location by the sound of the pebble. Letting out a terrifying roar, Val shouted "Crud!!! We gotta go right now" as he leaped from the cliff whilst holding onto Sandys hoof. Now sliding down the slope, Val looked back up as he could see the dragon was racing after them!!! "Uuhhh...run down hill" he shouted as he got up from sliding and started to gallop.

"Indeed...hmm...take a look down there" Val pointed as he whispered to Sandy. At the bottom of the mountain, was a huge lake. An omnious glow seemed to be shinning from below as the two looked at each other curiously. Whatever it was, it looked pleasent...then again, anything was pleasant compared to the giant dragon right behind them. Taking baby steps towards the cliff, he whisepred "We'll rush down towards the lake as fast as we can since..well...do you hear that" he asked as the gentle hum of a Shoo-be-doop; entered into his brain. He had no idea where the singing was coming from, but it sounded rather pleasnt and enjoyable.

At that point, Valoren was busy admiring her qualites. She was shy yes, but when picking on the right topics; she was talkative. She was beautiful, yet intellegent. In a way, she seemed to be everything that he wasnt. Smart, shy, kept to herself. Yet it was qualties like this that seemed to draw him to her. The problem was that he was unsure if that she felt the same way, and worse was that if he did ask how she felt; he could end up accidenatly ruining their friendship!! He didnt want that. But at the same time, it was driving him nuts in not knowing how she felt!! He then envisoned himself with her, hugging her close to him with his wings as he gently ran a hoof through her mane. Nuzzling his cheek against her, he brought his lips closer to hers when.. he was snapped out of his thoughts by her question. Blushing intenstly as he prayed she hadnt heard any of his thoughts aloud, he stammered "Ah, ah. Ima..ahh..its alright. Nothings wrong" he managed to blurt out nervously, laughing weakly in an attmepth to cover up how he felt.

Smiling thoughtfuly, Valoren wondered if this day could simply get any more wonderful. He had just gotten through a pretty fun race with the pony he loved, and quiet frankly; was enjoying the view. The marvelous setting that was before him, and the view of the illustrious Sandy. Looking into her eyes gently, he could swear that the music in the background changed into some soft, romantic melody. Feeling abit shy,he looked down for a moment as he found it hard to look into her eyes, but was able to regain his courage as he slowly looked up again. Leaning towards Sandy, he closed his eyes as he started to pucker his lips up, closer..and closer.. Just as his lips were about to make contact with hers, the silence was broken. BOOM!! A loud tremor through them both off balance, as Val whiped his head up; looking around rapidly for the source of the tremor. "What in the hay? What was that" he gawked in alarm. Feeling another tremor, he noticed then how close that it was to the two of them. It was so close, it was almost as if it was..behind them?!?! Whirling around, Val found himself looking at a rather powerful looking leg. Slowly following it up, his eyes slowly widdened in a mixture of awe and horror. Powerful looking claws, and teeth, a wicked looking tail; and leathery wings, he found himself staring at a dragon!! Freezing on the spot, he whiepsered into Sandy's ear; "Let's slowly get up..and try to move away. He isnt looking at us, so i dont think he has noticed us".

"Well, lets just say that when you travel alot; you sorta need to improvise with what you got" chuckled Val as he watched in amusement, his broth being drunk. Sitting back, he wondered how she felt or..if she even felt the same way about him? Apart of him wanted to ask right on the spot so he could put an end to this, yet he hesistated. That was what didnt make no sense to him. He was Valoren Seeker, he didnt hesitate for anything!! But apparently when it came to expressing his feelings to any pony in a way that goes beyond simple friendship, he did. So he sat there in silence as he watched her eat/drink.

"And when we take some of these nuts; crack them open and pour the escences" nodded a safisted Valoren as he poured the yellowish liqid into the empty bowl. Rushing next to the river, Val smiled as he then filled up the bowl to the top with water. Exaiming it close, he noticed it became less of a water fluid and more of a soup one. Grinning at what he was seeing, Val then went over towards some of the fruits in the trees. Picking them off, he wondered to himself how Midnight was. He just hopped that she was well since even though he had been gone for abit now; he was still worried. "Shes alright" his mind insisted as he looked down to see the soup was done. Now all he had to do was heat it up. Creating a small fire, he set the soup ontop of it as he smiled "Mmm, apple flavored..Im sure she'll like it" he thought as it finsihed!! Rushing back into the tree, he smiled as he placed the broth down in front of Midnight. "Done" he beamed.

Listening to her explain on how the story worked, Val looked away as he thought to himself "Alrighty then, if things contiue to go well in our favor then hopefully we'll be able to...wait...bake bread"? Looking up, he smiled weakly "Ahh, i guess I better learn how to bake bread for you then. Though Ive honestly never really cooked before". He lived on cold food mostly, ceral and sometimes soups. "OOo!! I know what to do to help you feel better" he grinned as he smirked cheerfuly "I am going to go get some ingridents to make you some broth". When he got a strange look, he smirked "Its a special kinda soup that I make, so Ill be right back" he nodded to the unicorn as he turn and rushed out into the opneing; eager to get the stuff needed to help his friend recover her strength.

Valoren watched as the group of masked ponies contiued to load supplies onto the cart, as he placed a hoof to his chin. What he needed was extra insurance in order to make sure that they're plan worked well. But what??! Spotting one of the masked ponies, a slow grin etched onto his face. Whistling in the ponies direction, he snuck his head down as the pony slowly apporached him. As soon as he reached Vals position, Val leaped out and jumped him. Powerful smacks, and punches were heard eminating from the alley as Val emerged a moment later, now dressed in full on gear of the shadowed ponies. Spoting Dazzle, he waved towards her; winking that it was him as he looked left and right to make sure that no pony was looking. Slowly, he opened up the flap of the tarp as he beckoned Dazzle to make a break for it.
