Alright you magic experts, let me ask you this. I'm sure you all know that every spider in the game has reach, and a good chunk of them even get some kind of bonus for blocking a creature with flying. So do you know any good cards, preferably green, that I can use to give my opponents creatures flying? It's perfect for me, not only is it a creative trap to spring on my enemies, but it would also be one of the funniest, most schadenfreude ways to screw them over.

I understand that they would definitely be uncommon, but I wouldn't think that they're entirely nonexistent.Edit: Alright, I just read the post regarding ponies and technology, specifically that part about transportation and vehicles. "Well that's not much seeing as most bugs are limited personality wise, I'm glad you think so" Nien playfully said to him. "So then, tell me a bit about yourself String Heart"

'Called it' Nien thought to herself. "Yes, sentient arthropods are very few and far between in the world, and even fewer of them try to live in equine society. It's not so much as a species as it is a sort of, magical mutation. Not much is known about it, given it's rare occurrence, but basically whenever any sort of creature is born there is a very small chance that it will soon become very intelligent and grow much larger than it normally would. It can happen to any animal, a mouse, a bird, or even a snake" She explained. "Atleast that's my understanding of the matter" She added shortly after.

Nien was somewhat amused at String Hearts comment about her looking lovely as she doubted he had ever seen a giant talking female spider in his life. 'He's just being a gentlecolt' she thought. "Charmed, it's a plesure to meet you as well String Heart" She replied as she shook his hoof with her palp.

As the pairs were given out, Nien got up and sat back down at the table across from her assigned partner. "Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Nien" She politely said.

(ooc: Not to worry, he has till midnight. I'm sure he'll show up by then.) "She's right dearie" Nien added in. "No one here is spiteful enough to judge you. In all honesty, having dragon wings pales in comparison to me" she reassured and took another sip of her water.

'Oh wonderful, I'm parched' Nien thought. She walked over to the table and poured herself a glass of water. She then stuck a single fang into the cup and used it as a makeshift straw to drink the liquid.

Squishy was even excited at the idea of drinking pony refreshments. Whenever he was thirsty, he would usually just dunk his head into a lake or stream and wait until his thirst was quenched. 'Oh boy, pony beverages. At this rate, I'll be indistinguishable from an average equine in no time!' He thought. "That would be great, yes please" He replied.

(ooc: reverse psychology is best psychology) 'oh well, it was bound to happen sooner or later' Nien thought. "No need to panic sweetheart, I won't hurt anyone. Just like you, I'm here for tonight's festivities" Nien said in a reassuring tone.

Ahhhh, good ol' heavy metal. I'm a metal head, and possibly my favorite band is Praying Mantis. I swear, I don't just love them because of the insect name. Granted, it is a part of it, but the music the make is still top notch. Their actually pretty underrated and not too well known, despite their excellent song writing. This one's more on the melodic side, and very captivating.

'oh dear this won't do, everyone here is supposed to be having fun', she thought. She leaned over and softly said to him, "Easy there dearie, no need to get all worked up. I guess I can't call myself a dating expert, but I know for a fact that any social situation is much more enjoyable when you loosen up, be yourself, and don't pay too much heed to what others think of you. As a giant spider, I have a lot of experience for that last bit of advice" She gave him a comforting wink with one of her eight eyes as she said that last part.

At the mention of her name, Nien redirected her attention to the now open door. "Ahhh, you must be our hostess for the evening. I would like to thank you in the flesh for welcoming someone of my peculiar standing with such open arms" she replied with a small curtsey. She turned her head to the pony who had just bumped into her, "Lets not keep them waiting now, hmm?" With that, she made her way into the establishment.

I'm sorry to hear that chapian and sparkle heart. Definitely not the kind of responses I was hoping for. The next reply better be about their awesome independence day that was amazing.

Nien has been here before. 'well, this one didn't immediately run away screaming, that's a step up from the usual scenario' she thought. She turned around to greet this clumsy pony. "Nothing to worry about sweetie, a simple mistake that could happen to any pony" she said cheerfully. She stuck out her right palp for a hoofshake. She had already knocked on a wrong door once in her life, and she did want to repeat that mistake again. 'being scared is one thing, but calling the police claiming that a "bloodthirsty, savage, monster" is on the loose is just plain insulting' she thought as recalled the horrific ordeal. Luckily for her, there was a sign announcing the place for all to see. She wasn't wearing much, just a velvet scarf. Dating a giant spider is already a bit off putting, so a giant spider in a dress would only make it seem more exaggerated. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
