Roleplay Type: Crossovers/Free-For-All Name: Broken Gear Sex: Female Age: Filly, nearly a Mare Species: Earth Pony Eye colour: A somewhat dark gold Coat colour: A darkened lavendar Mane/Tail/Markings colour & Style: Her mane is spiky and kind of lacking in terms of how much of her head it covers due to an incident, and her tail is somewhat deformed as well because of it. Physique: An average build, a tad bit tall. Cutie Mark: A broken, deformed gear Origin/Residence: At one point lived in Canterlot, but moved to Manehatten Occupation: Mechanic Motivation: Ever since her incident, she became interested in machines, despite one being the cause of her incident being a machine, but was kept alive and saved by the use of machines/technology and thought it was best to work with machines, so that the flawed one that caused her incident aren't produced by such amateurs anymore. Likes: Tinkering in machines of her own design and despite her's not being as good as the pony's who used his to save her life or as advanced, but sometimes enjoys being lazy, but just can't stay away from pie, no matter what if there is a pie, if you made it yourself or paid for it, if she smells it, you better be able to keep her away or she'll go Pinkie Pie on it and eat it before you can even sum a thought of the flash of activity that just led up to her eating it. Dislikes: She is deathly afraid of fire, the incident she was involved in, was mainly concerning fire and what it did to her, even something as simple as a Match or Sparkler and she will be beyond afraid of it and even freak out, she can't stand anything sour or spicy either, and really dislikes when people criticize her appearance. Character Summary: Broken Gear was involved in an accident, when with EXPLOSIVE proportions, someone failed on a contraption and it exploded, with her nearby, all 4 of her legs were blown off and the resulting fire completely disintigrated her ears, mane, and tail, leaving her in a sobbing, bloody mess, no limbs, no ears, no hair or tail and agonizing pain in a house that is on fire from the explosion, and then a secondary explosion launched sharp obejcts at her, 2 of them shooting her eyes out the back of her head, leaving her in even more pain now just screaming in pure agony, the fire was soon put out though but not before she was on the verge of death, bleeding out, lungs polluted by smoke. A pony found her and quickly helped her, giving her fake, prosthetic legs and ears, and some robotic eyes, and he had to give her artificial lungs to replace the ones ruined by the smoke, for the longest time she ended up paranoid of fire and sharp objects which soon just dwindle down to a fear of any pyrotechnics. And soon after learning how to walk again and such, she decided to learn from the pony that saved her life and then took what she learned to Manehatten, her limbs despite being metallic and cold to the touch along with her ears they work exactly like real ones, just as flexible and everything. She tends to be criticized for it though, saying that whoever did it was "playing God" in giving her what she was given to survive and some being as cruel to say as to say it was fated for her to possibly die in that if it weren't for who saved her, sometimes leaving her in a cold, bitter and overall cruel attitude, but when she has her peace of mind and no one is spitting such slander at her she tends to be kind of shy, but outgoing and somewhat intelligent, marginally above average. It's best to keep anything using fire away from her as sometimes she reacts violently out of panic and fear and it tends to sometimes be fatal because of her prosthetic limbs. Other than that she lives her days out in Manehatten building what she can on commission and sometimes goes out as an Electrician for the sake of having a job and such.
