It's in editing limbo right now, so it might take a while >.< That, and finding publishers is easy, but finding their contact info can sometimes be a pain. I went to probably 10 different sites, and all I could find on there was how to buy the books they already had. Good news is, I have at least one publisher in my sights - Ace Books. They've been putting out Sci-Fi for decades, so hopefully they'll like this. And this is random, but those three apples I have make me think of a boost meter on an arcade game XD

As far as my novel goes... the title is Aftermath: Dark Side of the Night. It's set slightly in the future, the year 2017, after a nuclear apocalypse. It's very 50's Sci-fi flavored though, at least in my opinion - you know, the whole giant mutant bugs and zombies thing. It also has "scientific" vampires and werewolves in it. The two main characters are a male vampire and a female werewolf. Mr. Vamp has amnesia, and Ms. Wolf was (though she would say "is") a US Marine. This book is actually the first in a longer series that's going to deal with these two characters. It's basically their origin story - how they came to be, the world they're in, and getting used to how much the world has changed; not to mention how they themselves have been changed and how Mr Vamp has to deal with not knowing who he is. One thing that actually is a recurring part of it is that he doesn't know his own name. Mostly because I figure that if someone didn't know their own name, they'd be very bothered by that. After all, someone else not remembering you is one thing. But when you can't remember who you are? That adds a whole new level of stress I think. It's not something that he goes on about constantly, but part of his drive is a search for identity - be it his own from the past, or a new one he can forge.

About Myself: I play computer games like Fallout 3, Medal of Honor, and Command & Conquer a lot. I love to write and RP, and actually have a novel finished - I'm hoping to get it published ASAP. I'm from Southern California, and while I dread the approaching heat, I'm glad to not be taking summer session at college. How I found Canterlot.com: I kinda stumbled onto it. I just searched for an MLP RP to see if there was one, and this one popped up... so I pounced >> > How I became a fan of MLP:FiM: I blame my friends Kendra and Amanda. They got me to watch random parts on youtube... and then I watched the first two episodes... and got addicted. XD My favourite main cast pony/s: AppleJack,Rainbow Dash Hello all you lovely people! I'm new here, but the place looks completely awesome. And if you're wondering, yes, I'm a Cali boy that says Aloha and may have delusions of taking over the world. On occasion. Nothing permanent... though I might like to have Hawaii for myself. *ahem* Anyway! My two faves from the main cast are A.J. and R.D. - their rivalry that pops up is just lovely, and I adore the elements they represent. I think it's somehow poetic that Honesty and Loyalty end up butting heads, as it does sometimes feel difficult to be both with a friend, if you think being honest might hurt and hurting them makes you disloyal, or the reverse, being loyal means you won't hurt them, but that means being dishonest. So yes, it does seem interesting to me that they butt heads like they do. My favorite pony of all is Luna. She just is. I guess I've always loved "reformed villain" characters. I just wish she would be featured more. She's only really been around in four episodes - and one was a quick cameo. Yes, I'm talking the Season 2 finale. Fave villain... totally Discord. 1) he drank a glass, threw chocolate milk, and it exploded like nitroglycerin. That is awesome. 2) He wasn't so much... evil... I don't think... as just an embodiment of Chaos - like Coyote, Loki, or Eris/Discordia (I wonder if that's where they got the name... after all, Discordia was the Roman equivalent of Eris - who was chaos/strife/discord. Hmmm....). He was just kinda having fun, really. 3) ....He's basically Q from Star Trek: The Next Generation! He even has that same flash of light effect when he appears and vanishes, and was voiced by the actor that played Q in Star Trek. Because of this, I can die a happy, happy nerd! And... I think I'll stop here or I'll keep on like the Energizer Bunny. ...Someone get me a drum, some pink hair dye, a pair of sunglasses, and Angel... ...I have a job for a for that rabbit. Muhahahhahaha! ... Kidding. ... Mostly. XD!
