  1. Can't go far wrong with Zelda and Mario. On a less traditional note, Sly Cooper (the fourth game almost makes me want to get a PS3 for it), King's Quest (can't wait for the upcoming revival), and Monkey Island.
  2. *Australian brohoof* If it's any consolation, the toys are out.
  3. Pah, curse you summer-type people. I'm cold.
  4. I agree that Derpy is far better off as a non-speaking background character. I reckon scenes like the one where she dropped a bunch of stuff on Twilight in Feling Pinkie Keen should be the extent of the focus that goes on her.
  5. I like to think of Derpy as intelligent, but eccentric, and a frequent user of insane troll logic.
  6. I'I'd like a little more recognition of the brony community (and am kind of expecting it, honestly), but not too much. Just a few subtle winks here and there, like another short Derpy scene, or Doctor Whoof showing up as an actual doctor.
  7. I personally prefer Gilda. Gilda's the character that I love to hate (though I will say it kind of irks me how "generic bully" she was, though that just makes me want to see more of her so that the character can be expanded upon), whereas Trixie was just...well, like I said, annoying.
  8. I know Lauren's original idea of a massive overarching story was veto'd, but it's still possible we'll get a couple two parters.
  9. That's easy enough. Best to start with an intro pack, which comes with a ready-built 60 card deck plus a booster pack. Or you can go for one of the Duel Decks, which come with two ready-built 60 card decks designed specifically to go against each other.
  10. I've been at it for 11 years now, so...it might take a while.
  11. If you have a game/hobby shop near you, you might check it out. Ask around, see if you can find anyone.
  12. Yup, first TCG ever. About 3 years before Pokemon. The new Core Set is about to be released. They release a new Core Set every year, designed specifically to help new players into the game, so it's a good time to get into it. I myself am a certified judge (basically means I go to tournaments, make sure everything runs smoothly, and answer any rules questions that come up), so if you're interested in learning more, I'm more than happy to help out.
  13. It is a collectible card game in which the players represent powerful beings called planeswalkers, who do battle by summoning magical creatures and casting powerful spells. Your deck represents your spellbook or library of spells which you can cast in a game. Why should you play it? Because it's awesome. It's the world's very first TCG, having started in 1993 and still going on strong to this day.
