Thanks, all! It really means something to find a welcoming, open community that represents the antithesis to the normal cancer I consider the internet to be. So are there any character ideas that are wanting to be played, some dirty job that nopony wants to do? It's easy enough to make a pony I like that's been done five hundred times, but I like a good challenge. Call me elitist, but I do so enjoy doing something nopony else has done. Maybe a dragon. Or an upstanding Diamond Dog citizen. Maybe even a phoenix...

I was playing on a Creative server at about 2 am one morning, and a friend of mine (the only other person on that early in the morning) was... relatively intoxicated at the time. He liked the show already because he browsed /b/ religiously, and we were talking about it. I always laughed at the reaction images but never actually considered watching the show (because, what. Little girl's show, right? Apparently not.), and when I mentioned it, he said, "You should watch the show, it's a total trip." I decided it wouldn't hurt to give it a chance, even though I hate most crap TV stations shove down our throats these days, and I was hooked on the show literally 30 seconds into the first episode. Watched the first 20 episodes in the span of a weekend, then was sad that I'd have to wait a week for the next to air. But, thanks to my friend, FiM is now one of exactly 4 shows I will turn a TV on to watch (with Mythbusters, Burn Notice and The Mentalist).

Salutations, ponies of all ages and trots of life! I'm the Architect, and what I enjoy most is creation - real or imaginary, simple or complex. I'm not new to roleplay, pony-related or otherwise, so I finally decided to stop lurking and join up so I could meet all of you. Most of all, I like creating alternate worlds; weaving long and intricate tales of epic bravery and high drama! ...Okay, not really, but pony RP is by far the best part of the fandom I've encountered so far. I'll be working on my own concept of a new character so I can see you all ASAP in Equestria! ^^ As far as my own ascent into bronyhood goes, it was quick and clean, and it did involve Minecraft.
