Yeah, just for the sake of clarification, we aren't accepting OCs as counselors. The entire point of the camp was that it was a camp run by the Mane 6. I'm sorry that that limits your OC from joining, but if it makes you feel any better, I had to lower the age of my OC camper to 14 (he's normally 19) to fit with the camp. And if OCs were going to be counselors then you'd have stuff like my OC's brother, Endilix who is 21 and went to camp Whitetail when he was a kid (max age of 18 at the time).

If the plot wasn't already so set I'd be happy to take such suggestions, but it's already been developed with the Mane 6 as our only counselors. I do appreciate your interest in the idea, and I appreciate the questions. ^^

The delay is due to personal issues I've had to deal with, nothing to do with the site itself. Something I don't feel comfortable discussing with internet peoples (as much as I love you guys) right this moment. I do appreciate your concern and offer for help though. But it will be taken care of soon, and the RP shouldn't be delayed much longer.

Now, in regards to Pinkie, I was going directly off of obvious opposites to the elements themselves, Pinkie's being laughter. Therefore, she'd hate it if Twilight wasn't funny, not if she was boring. Of course like Fermata said, this is just my interpretation of how Pinkie feels about her friend Twilight. Without being Pinkie herself, I couldn't tell you if she'd hate either or, or both.

The summary hasn't actually given away anything. The Diamond Dogs are introduced in the first chapter about halfway through (as I've written so far) and are more of a plot progression device more than a pivotal plot point in the story. Aside from that, nothing I can see hasn't already been introduced in the story or alluded to in the Prologue.

It's a possibility. But the rp hasn't even started yet. Let's get past that hurdle first. ^^

Yes I'm sure. lol His brother (who is 21) has a large effect on him, and has caused him to mature at a young age. He still has childish tendencies though. It'll be easier to see when I actually rp as him.

Alright, just so everyone here knows, I will be finishing my writing tonight and the RP should be up no later than a few hours after I get home tomorrow evening. This is to make any final changes between Snowy and myself and ensure that everything opens up smoothly. I would say to expect the RP at somewhere around 9 pm PST. Don't hold me to that exactly, but that's a rough estimate so you guys can be ready (if you aren't already asleep by then).

By Wednesday I'll put the final touches on it and make sure it's ready to go in the evening. So make sure you're ready. ^^

Alright everyone, calm down. I have a few important things to announce. I've had a long day today, and I'm really tired and the rest of the weekend is going to be just as long for me, so bear with me.

First off, thank you Winter for your app. I look forward to going over it and I will send approval or critique in a PM after I've had the chance to do so.

Second off, the RP will not be able to start on Monday. It is with a heavy heart that I announce this, but I have to get ready to go back to work earlier than expected and I'm not entirely prepared. The RP will be able to start by Wednesday at the earliest. Unfortunately I just won't have the time to write up the RP topic, the specific RP rules, and manage it in time for Monday, and I'm truly sorry. But I see no issues with the RP successfully starting on Wednesday, and I should have all apps approved (StarStorm and Winter) and edited (DreamEatr), and we should have an announcement on who will be playing AJ.

Which leads me to my third point. In fairness, I am giving Fireraven and Choco the opportunity to apply for AJ. For playing two counselors they give up the option the play an OC. If there is anyone else that wishes to play AJ between now and then, please send me a PM containing a profile and an RP example of AJ. Choco has already sent me hers. All other apps MUST be received by Wednesday or I will be giving the position to her. I am doing this because nobody else but Fireraven and Choco have shown interest in AJ, and I would like to have all 6 counselors be played on a permanent basis before the RP begins.

Once again, I"m sorry for those that were excited about Monday, but life comes first always for me, and I have to take care of my real duties before I can take care of my virtual ones. I hope you can forgive me. Otherwise, my attendance here will be spotty between now and then, but please still do not hesitate to ask questions and send me any PMs with questions between now and the opening of the RP, and even after the RP has begun. I look forward to it. Also, I wouldn't say the rp was ever in danger of not getting people. We only needed 5, and really Snowy and I would've had that covered if nobody else showed up. As it is, we're probably gonna start the RP with about 8 people, which is the better half of 15. So we're doing fine. :3 Dreameatr, I don't want you to think I haven't gotten your PM. I'll do the edits later tonight. Star's character should be up, Endilix and RD should be up soon, and I need to talk to Snowy to see when the RP will be up. Stay posted, shouldn't be too much longer now!

And I don't see any issue with that, Stonetribe. Fluttershy is the best general animal handler there is, but that doesn't mean someone else can't specialize in one type of animal and be better than her. For example, Twilight is one of the most powerful unicorns, but yet Rarity's magic is still a lot better than Twilight's in the specific aspect of finding gems. So in terms of natural talent, it makes sense that your character could excel at bug handling. :3

Oh, but looking over your app, you did forget to put a cutie mark location. If you could please edit that in, that'd be great. ^^

Short term goal I'd like at least 5 character campers, and I'm sure more campers will join up after the rp has started once they see it and it gains interest. Long term goal is I'd like to have someone playing AJ (that isn't one of us already playing a counselor) and roughly 15 campers when I close apps. In total, the camp will have about 50ish campers actually camping at the camp, so the camp itself isn't empty, and also allows for people to come and go (say someone wants to drop out, we just add another camper who has "been there the whole time")

Awesome! Well, as long as I know everything is in the works I'm satisfied. I'll just keep (im)patiently checking this regularly to see if anyone else has stopped by to offer advice or critique until my turn comes around. ^^

It all depends on how many campers we get in the next few days. I want to get the actual RP topic up before I go back to work next Wednesday, at least.
