  1. *Raises nonexistent champagne glass* WE'RE NUMBER ONE.
  2. Well that means that you have the same eye color as me too!
  3. Hello! Thanks for the feedback!! Maybe something like this? History: Growing up in Manehattan, Partly Cloudy didn't have a very good relationship with either of her parents. Her dad was always too busy running the family fishery, and her mother was too busy wishing she had gotten a daughter who actually appreciated the art of mane brushing. She was always running off as a filly and looking for some place where she actually felt wanted. Upon only finding more busy people who pushed her out of the way, Partly grew frustrated and finally asked her parents permission to move out with her Aunt to the Gallopocus Islands. Her father didn't even look up from his morning newspaper before waving a hoof in antipathetic manner, and her mother was more than excited to get rid of her "headache" of a daughter. So off to the islands she went! Her aunt owned a small hotel right off the beach for anypony who wanted to experience the tropical side of life. Partly Cloudy loved it at first, and she would run around with the fillies and colts who came to visit with their families. They would play tag and have races on the white sand beaches, and she became stronger by the day. If she wasn't running, she was flying around, zooming in and out of the palm trees and skimming the waves. And in the evenings, her Aunt would let her entertain the guests by singing at the dinners. She always got big rounds of applause, and she fell in love with the feeling. But even with this change in scenery, she wasn't satisfied. Her friends would always have to leave at the end of the big tourism season, and her aunt (who was an older pony) found it hard to keep up with a growing filly. So one day her aunt made an arrangement with Partly Cloudy's cousin who lived in Stalliongrad. He was a big, robust pony who owned a farm in that region, and Partly's aunt knew that being around other athletic ponies like herself would be at least somewhat better for her. So now, Partly Cloudy resides there in the North, feeling a bit more at home than she had in the past, but still more focused on the gloomy aspects of life. Maybe if she could find a way to school...hmmmm....
  4. Roleplay Type: World of Equestria Name: Partly Cloudy Sex: Girl Age: Filly Species: Pegasus Eye Color: A very mysterious and almost hypnotizing bluish green with a hint of yellow around the iris. Coat Color: Darker turquoise, more blue than green with little, barely noticable flecks of lighter turquoise here and there.Hoof color is very light cream, almost white. Mane: a faded royal blue, with very few strands of light cream that matches her hooves. Her mane is long, wavy, and usually unbrushed, unless she's flying long distance or with a fast pace in which case she throws it up into a messy bun, just to have it out of the way. Tail: Her tail is the same color as the mane, but instead of being long, she keeps it cropped at a shorter, tomboyish length. No Special Markings Body Type: A taller pony, with an athletic build. Not too muscular, but far stronger than she looks. Cutie Mark: Partly Cloudy has yet to get her cutie-mark, which is very frustrating for her and is usually the source of one of her infamous moods. Origin/Residence:Partly Cloudy was born and did some growing up in Manehattan. The bustle of this bigger city may have been a grand adventure for some ponies, but for Partly Cloudy, it was merely a setback. She grew up working for her family's fishery, and being part of such a hardcore routine bothered her. She couldn't wait to see what was out there in Equestria. In her late filly-hood, she went to live with her Aunt on the Gallopocus Islands, but even being somewhere so calm and laid back wasn't enough to fill her adventurous desires...so as soon as she was old enough, she made her way to Stalliongrad, hoping to gain from the diversity there and experience many different walks of life. However, things aren't going as planned, and she still somehow feels as alone and as confused as ever... Occupation:Partly Cloudy currently works as a labor pony, using her athletic strength to hoe the tough and cold, northern earth on one of the small farms in Stalliongrad. She doesn't make much, and the work is hard, but for now it's enough. Motivation:Partly Cloudy's mane motivation for now is finding her ever elusive cutie mark. However, as she belts out tunes during her workday to make her job seem less tedious, she can't help but dream of becoming a famous pony performer, expressing herself through song, and having everyone finally understand her tempestuous emotions. So now, Partly Cloudy resides there in the North, feeling a bit more at home than she had in the past, but still more focused on the gloomy aspects of life. Maybe if she could find a way to school...hmmmm.... Likes: Singing (but only secretly for now) Flying Putting her muscles to good use Brooding Tea Reading books during the stormy northern nights Pony-watching Expressing her frustrations (currently the only part of her that she knows HOW to express) Dislikes: Interruptions Constant schedules/rules Being Dismissed Not belonging Rain showers that don't last long enough In General...: Partly Cloudy is a very confused pony. So far, she has only been able to see through the negative lens of life. Her parents being upset that she hasn't continued their family business, her inability to truly connect to anypony...However, she does have a sunny side that, although disguised, is beautiful. She longs solely for connection and understanding, to be able to belong any place she goes. She is very focused when it comes to the routine parts of life such as work, but when there is even a moment of downtime, Partly Cloudy is imagining future travels, song lyrics, and...*gasp* love?? For now, her cloudier side may be predominant in her personality, but with the right friends and the right atmosphere, she is sure to one day find not only her cutie mark, but also the perfect balance between her light and gloomy sides.
