    Mandaline could tell by the look on Twilight's face that she was confused. "I'll explain another time. Right now, I think Fluttershy could use some comfort." She got up as she said this, putting the Disc on her back.

    Mandaline held the Disc still and said "This? It's my Identity Disc. When I'm on the Grid, it tells who I am, what I have done in the past, and all of my knowledge. Here, though, it's a lethal frisbee. The edges are quite sharp when it's used in combat."

    Mandaline smiled and said "Pleased to meet you!" She offered her hand for a handshake.

    "You're...Fluttershy, right?" Mandaline asked, trying to remember.

    Mandaline inwardly facehoofed herself for mentioning the Light Cycle. She checked the Disc once more, but did not put it away. She began twirling it in her hand, and said to herself "I really need to stop talking about the Grid..." She then turned to Fluttershy, and smiled. "I'm guessing you've probably heard my name a few times, so I doubt there would be much use being redundant."

    Mandaline smirked at Dash. "How good are you in a Light Cycle?" She stopped herself, remembering that these other ponies didn't come from a computer. She flushed in embarrassment at her slip of the tongue, but regained her composure. "Nice to meet one with skill in flight." She said. She then turned to Fluttershy, and smiled. "Mandaline Freeman, at your service!"

    Shalidor got up with a small grunt of discomfort. The lights in his body were starting to flicker.

    Shalidor looked around for a place to lie down. He was Derezzing, and quickly.

    Mandaline shrugged and let Fluttershy be. "Now to answer Twilight's question...I moved here from Apploosa, but spent most of my childhood in a place called the Grid." She said, checking the Disc again and putting it on her back. She sat down, and looked at Dash. "I don't think I got your name, friend. What was it?"

    Mandaline noticed Fluttershy, and said "You alright, friend?"

    Mandaline replied "I'd love to." She stepped inside, wiping her feet before she did so. "When you ask where I'm from, do you mean by birth or where I last moved from?"

    Mandaline smiled and said "Pleasure to meet ya, Rarity!" She drew the Disc, checked it briefly, then put it away.

    Mandaline offered her hand for Rarity to shake. "I'm Mandaline by the way." She turned to Twilight and said "Mandaline Freeman at your service."

    Mandaline smiled slightly and said "Thank the Nine...I'm new here, and thought I'd stop by and say hi to my new neighbors!"

    Mandaline waited fit an answer to the door for a few minutes, and the she knocked again, a bit harder.

    Mandaline looked around, then got up with a sigh. She put the Disc away, and paused as she stepped near Twilight's house. Curiosity got the better of her, and she knocked on the front door.

    Mandaline soon grew bored of sparring with the tree. She sat back down, and twirlled the disc again.

    Mandaline checked to make sure nobody was around, and threw the Disc, catching it as it came back. She looked at a nearby tree, and began sparring it, using the Disc as a melee weapon.

    The mare relaxed a bit, and put her Disc away. "I forget that I'm no longer in the Grid..." The visor vanished as she put the Disc onto her back, revealing a slightly scarred face with magenta eyes.

    Mandaline looked around, and sat on a bench. She twirled the Disc in her hand.

    Mandaline looked at the Disc in her hand, then shrugged and put it on ther back. It glowed bright pink in some areas, but was mostly black. Mandaline noticed everyone at Twilight's house, and decided NOT to follow the crowd. Instead, she walked to the park.
