  1. Your Name: I am Ruby Gleam (and I'm Garnet Gleam!) Your Age: We're both 16. Your Grade: 10th Your Gender: Female, of course...boys aren't as pretty as we are! (Atleast most aren't...) Your Race: Unicorns...can't you see our horns? Description of Self: How nice of you to ask! My sister and I have short red hair, a peach-coloured complexion, perfect skin, and pretty green eyes. We both are 5'6" and are quite lean due to all the exercise we do together! We like to wear short (but not to short) skirts and stylish tops or t-shirts, and we both wear a silver ring on our index fingers on our right hands, and we always carry around adorable animal-based gear. Quick Back Story: My sister and I were both born in Ponyville, and were raised by our grandmother (who is the Mayor). Ever since we could remember, we loved playing tricks and games with our natural talent for illusionary magic, and often got in trouble for them. We tend to hang to ourselves, but have become more open to others in High School (but only because we get more victims, hee hee.) One day, one of our pranks went to far, so our grandmother sent us to Canterlot Prep believing that it will set us straight (like that will ever happen!) Oh, and also because our grades kick major flank. Cutie Mark: We both have crimson-coloured mirrors that are in the form of hairpins in our hair (the only difference being that one has a star, and the other a moon...but we change occasionally to keep everyone guessing!) (I hope thhis works! )
  2. I have only one question: Would you guys like the twins to be male or female?
  3. Muahahaha! ...I really need to stop stop doing that. Anyway, would it be okay if I made a pair of twins? They'll be so similar that they might as well be one OC. If you've seen Ouran High School Host Club, then you'll know what kind to expect
  4. Ooh! Ooh! -raises hand- Autumn can give them some tips on how to make the new students the perfect future hitmen/hitwomen! That'll get them into excellent shape...teehee.
  5. Awww... -snuggles- It's okay! Miss Sunshine will teach you Manehatten Mafia tricks to get your way...and some math too while she's at it!
  6. Good news, everyone! We've just expanded the company (increased the slots)! Due to the popular demand, I've decided to add side-OC slots to the mix, as well as the primary OC slots. Now, don't think that being a side-OC means you have nothing to do with the story...not at all...but it simply means that you are an additional character, whom the Eight will regard as possible obstacles compared to the threat presented by the Mane Four (-wink wink-). Of course, you can always join them too...tee hee. Main Slot One: Starbuster (Starbuster) Main Slot Two: Shadow Flare (Shadowbolt0) Main Slot Three: Tyrael (JokerOfJester) Side Cast: Gideon (TotalEcplise) Cirrus Storm (Shadowblaze471) Krakauer (Puzzlebeat) Congrats to all of you! Now, I have a few important statements/questions I would like to address: 1. How do you guys feel about beginning in Canterlot with the Summer Sun Celebration...I think it'd be the perfect opportunity to begin the action right away, and also it'd be a really great party to crash 2. Posts don't have to be ridiculously long, but I do expect your entry post to contain a good amount of detail as to why you're in Canterlot, how you got there, and so on so forth. After that you're good to go 3. Do any of you have any problems with some violence? While there won't be that much in here, there may be the occasional death...plus a wee bit of blood. 4. I will accept Mane Six OCs, but if any of you do choose to make one, please be accurate while playing them and understand that they aren't the heroes in this story, the new Mane Four are
  7. Whewy! So many apps! Let me review them all, and I'll have the three winners announced soon! (If you're lucky, I might consider more than three )
  8. ~Twilight Sparkle, in the Citadel Courtyard~ She listened to Doppleganger as he talked, surprised to see tears in the normally-strong Changeling. However, she shoved that piece of information to the side and focused on the discussion at hand as he woke up Replica. "...it is your decision, Doppleganger. By the time she is old enough to make the choice herself...it'll be too late. Not even Chronarch can reverse a wound that is many years old..." She fell silent as Replica began to stir, watching the young changeling open her eyes and look around. Twilight put on a gentle smile, not wanting to scare the little thing. "...hello there, Replica. Did you sleep well? I'm Twilight...a friend of your father." ------- ~Lypris, on the rooftops of the Citadel near the Courtyard~ The gray-cloaked female watched ominously from the shadows of one of the Citadel's many spired towers, her fierce red eyes gazing down at Doppleganger and Twilight. A former soldier, and a monster...that's all they were. To Lypris, they were both her enemies now...as were all her old allies and colleagues. She gritted her serrated teeth together at seeing the two talking calmly to each other, for it irritated her immensely. Doppleganger, the great general she had come to respect and even care for, was nothing but a shadow of his former self, and Twilight...a beast hiding behind a smile. But then again...was she truly any different now? A cold voice whispered inside her head; Who are you to judge, when you are a monster yourself? A creature unholy beyond anything they could be. The words stung, but they were true. She had no right to judge, no right to anything but to fight in the name of her new Queen. That was the duty of her kind...the duty of her new species. The pressure she was applying to the stone roof was creating cracks in the solid rock, and she lifted her hoof up gently. Even after a whole month, she had been unable to control this new-found power of hers...something she had gotten in return for her ability to shapeshift. With her 'transformation', she and her fellows had lost that ability, but what they got in return was so much...greater. The hunger gripped at her, she would have to feed soon. When Doppleganger began to lower the changeling foal from his back, Lypris moved to avoid being spotted by the former general, making a hiss in spite of herself. The gray cowl did nothing to warm her from the frigid air, all it served was a way to get to prey undetected. Looking at the foal she remembered as Replica, her heart became lanced by pain. The life she had led before...all gone and never to be regained. She still had parts of her former life that she couldn't remember, especially whether that foal was hers or not. The thought struck her as odd; why should she care? She had a new family now...one that needed her to finish what she started here today. Her 'Queen' needed her...and thus she will obey without question. Lypris turned away from the Courtyard, and took off in a blur of gray. ------- ~Agent Virginia (Applebloom), Freelancer HQ, Training Chamber~ Applebloom ducked as a battle knife zoomed past her ear, cutting close to the tip and slicing off a few strands of mane. Twisting, she brought her leg out and caught the attacking agent's arm beneath his elbow, kicking it aside and using her other leg to strike his face, the blow sending him hurling to the ground and the knife to drop. Leaping away, she avoided the slashes of another agent who was also part of the training. Her face remained smooth and calm during the entire encounter, her heartbeat and breathing as normal as ever. The training she had endured in the Shade Corps had honed her body into a weapon of severe fighting prowess. Seeing an opening, she struck the out-stretched hoof of the agent and sent the army knife spiraling away, and used her own hoof to hit the very center of his chest, hearing the breath get knocked out of him and possibly a rib cracking. That was a warning for her to tone it down a little. Stepping away, she waited for the two agents to recover, her orange eyes as cold as ever. Hesitating, the agents took her in with wary stares before resuming their onslaught. Onward they came as a pair, making Applebloom retreat from the whirlwind of deadly slashes and thrusts, even the occasional kick or punch. After being pressed against a wall, she quickly turned around and pressed her legs on it, pushing and launching herself over her attackers. While in midair, she spun in a vortex of kicks and landing blows on both of their heads, landing and watching in satisfaction as the two of them fell against the wall, out cold from the precise blows on the sides of their skulls. Taking them in, she relaxed her stance and straightened, turning away from them and proceeding toward the exit of the training room. She hadn't broken a sweat. After exiting the chamber, she went over to the rack and began to re-equip her standard Agent's uniform, slidding it over her exposed legs and arms, as well as her practice suit. It had been some time since she joined Freelancer, and ever since then she had been trying to decide whether she regretted the choice or not. Even now, it was difficult to choose. She had many things to be greatful for...but also many to be miserable over. Applebloom let out an audible, withdrawn sigh as she put her badge on her right breast. It was too late to change anything now. ------- ~Rainbow Dash, in the Celestial Quarter of Equinia with Chronarch~ The pegasus mare could only smile in embarrassment as the Archmage complimented her. She didn't think herself to be a great pony...especially not a heroine. Rainbow did what she thought she had to do, that was all she had been doing the past six years. She had joined the N.E.O. because she thought the Princesses no longer deserved the throne, and to protect her friends. She had become a Chancellor so she could protect the remnants of the Ponyville citizens who had lost their homes during the Revolution, and to help push Equestria to a better tomorrow. She had saved Equinia and put herself in a temporary coma, just for the safety of the families she had to protect...she wasn't a heroine...simply a mare who tried her best. Her thoughts were dragged away by the beauty of their surroundings. The floral scents, the inspired architecture...citizens from all over Equinia came here to purvey their arts, ranging from singing, dancing, painting, and even acting. As they walked through the garden-like quarter, they passed a stage with a decently-sized crowd for this early time of day. The actors were performing the scene of Discord's defeat at the hands of herself and the other five ponies in the famous 'Mane Six', and seeing it brought back fond memories of those days. Not waiting to see more, she led Chronarch further along. There was a special bar she had seen during her flying rounds the other day...where was it? "Aha! There it is!" Rainbow Dash cried as she pointed out a seemingly-popular, dome-like building. The name of the place was pronounced loudly on a streaming banner above the doors; 'Harmony's Rest' so it was called. Certainly a name that fit the rest of the Celestial Quarter. Smiling, she rushed Chronarch along toward the building. At the doors stood two bouncers, who waved as she and her friend came up to them. The large stallion on the right grinned at her. "Hello, Chancellor. I see you brought a friend today. He looks familiar..." The mare smiled in return, seeing the earth pony's inquisitive gaze on Chronarch. "He's the Archmage within the Citadel. I'm buying him a few drinks today." The stallion blinked, before opening the door hastily and smiling sheepishly. "Very sorry, sir. Please take no offense of my ignorance...you two may go in." Rainbow nodded in thanks to the bulky pony, as she and Chronarch went inside. (Can't fit more )
  9. Hehe...leave it to Mustang to turn an American school system into Japanese
  10. ~Prince Rubyn, within the Chamber of Ravens~ As the silvery doors closed behind him, he drew in a deep breath of the air within the massive quarters. The smell of incense hung on the air, carrying the scent of lavender and cinnamon; a bizarre combination, but the Prince liked it regardless. The walls were coated in dark blue paint, with various white stars scattered across them like the very foliage of the Moon Tree. Everything about this room was familiar to him, from the magically-lit crystal chandeliers on the ceiling to the ravens dancing among the tiles beneath his hooves, for this had been his since he was a foal. However, none of it drew his eyes but one particular object; a midnight-black suit of armor that lay at the far back of the chamber, set on display for him to see. It had seemed to always be in his mind, the armor...it was his birthright, his reward, his curse. Rubyn crossed the room, passing by the furnished, gilded wooden furniture and elegantly-carved columns as he made his way toward the dark armor. Stepping up to it, he placed a hoof on it and examined it. The blackened metal shined from the room's light, despite not having been polished in four hundred years, the raven etched into the breastplate seeming to enwrap the entire piece. The leg guards had several different runes built into them, meant for strength and agility, but they were long since inactive and no longer held the magic they once possessed. The helmet was perhaps the most important piece of the armor, capable of wrapping around the skull and leaving the front of the face exposed, a large red jewel in the shape of a four-pointed star that symbolized the wearer's ascendancy to a place beyond mere equines...the position of Prince of Ravens. Staring at the armor, memory of a history lecture appeared in his mind as he tried to remember it entirely. This very piece of armor had been handed down to each Prince of Ravens since the formation of the Empire, the last wearer being the dreaded Emperor Argentus, former Prince and most powerful False Lightbinder ever to have appeared in Coltara. Thinking about what that unicorn had done in that same armor made Rubyn shiver, but he knew that, one way or another, it was his duty and fate to wear it. Grimacing in determination, he began to strip the armor off the display, setting to work on suiting himself up. Moments later, he looked at himself in a mirror, the dark brilliance of the steel making glares on the glassy surface. It fit perfectly on him, as if it were made specifically on his size...another thing about it that frightened him. Was he doomed to the same fate as Argentus? No! That will not...cannot...happen! I am better than him! I do have a heart! The prince told himself vehemently, turning away from the mirror as he headed toward the door, his now-plated hooves clinking against the tiles beneath them. Exiting the chamber, he lifted his head and gazed down the hallway, now empty due to the gathering for the ceremony. It was time. Time for his ascendancy, time for his legacy to be made. Tonight, he would shed his former self, and the true Prince of Ravens would be born. He will leave everything about his old life behind, and become an object of fear and worship in the Empire. With his coronation, he would be sent on his first duty to the fortress city of Coltan's Rest...to punish a general there who had disobeyed the Empress' express command. He trotted off toward the Diamond Hall, which would now be cleared of everyone but the Imperial Family and the Elders of each race. Little did he know, however, how much his life would change with the end of the evening. ------- ~Silvertongue, within his quarters with Sub-Zero~ The grizzled stallion sat down at his desk, reading over reports of strange raids on the edges of the Empire and a few Nightchild arrests inside the capital. Normal paperwork, as always. However, tonight would be the crowning of the new Prince of Ravens, the ascendancy of the son of his former Emperor, Steelir. He was so wrapped up in his work that he didn't notice Sub-Zero's arrival until the stallion spoke. Silvertongue grimaced in spite of himself. ...my senses really are fading. Guess it must come with growing older. The Nightinggale thought to himself. Putting down his pen, he looked up to see the intruder of his quarters. "Well, you found him. What may I do for you? Oh..." His eyes narrowed upon seeing the crest on Sub-Zero's armor. Sure, the fact that this stallion before him was bipedal was bizarre enough as it was, but that symbol...it took all of his attention. "...Kori no Yurei. I haven't seen any of you since one of your kind assassinated the previous Emperor, and my dearest friend...have you come to finish the job, assassin? If so, it'll have to wait until I have guaranteed my Prince's safety. I hope you don't mind that...if that isn't what you are here for, make it quick." Nothing he said had even the slightest inflection of emotion, his silver-coated face and brown eyes as blank as stone.
  11. ~Rainbow Dash, Citadel»Celestial Quarter~ The pegasus mare listened intently as Chronarch explained how Equestria was like in. His time, how wild and chaotic it was, where the strong survived and prospered. When she heard of 'grand quests', her smile widened into a grin. He was right, she would have liked it back then. When she spoke her second question, she knew that it had been a terrible choice, and instantly regreted it. She knew partially about the touchy relationship Chronarch and Celestia had shared, but had forgotten at that moment. She winced inwardly at what she could have done to Chronarch emotionally from even bringing the subject up. When he talked about it, she had the urge to comfort him, but knew that nothing she could do would ease that pain. She eagerly took up the other topic that Chronarch produced, wanting to leave the other behind. "Monsters, huh? Well, don't get me wrong, we had the occasional few monsters in the Everfree Forest and the wilderness, but the only real monster threats were dragons and a few manticore or hydras, and even then they almost never appeared. It wasn't till the Revolution in which they became active again, but were put down...swiftly. I would say that either many are extinct now, possibly hiding, or just moved on from Equestria." The discussion brought back a memory from the old days before the Revolution, of how she and her other five friends had all dealt with such creatures in the most bizarre, innocent ways...it made her yearn for those times to be back once more, but she knew that wouldn't ever happen. The six of them were scattered on the wind, only a couple connected by the small strand of friendship left. When they began to exit one of the Citadel's gates and making for a serene, garden-like part of the city, she began to speak again. "...you know, I still crave for adventure. I had dreams of becoming a Wonderbolt, and traveling across Equestria as a heroine...but that ended many years ago. My passions...lie elsewhere now." The gentle scent of flowers and fruit appeared on the breeze, mirroring the botanical scenery of the Celestial Quarter. It had been a part of Canterlot before it was sacked, and was one of the few lucky areas not destroyed by the 'Equinian Apocalypse', and still retained it's natural beauty and glorious architecture. This was a place of arts, and many treated it as such. Rainbow Dash let out a long sigh, feeling the tension ease by simply being in this peaceful place. (I'll have responses for everyone else tomorrow, sorry for the delay ^^')
  12. Character Bios have been added! Look if you wish, and please let me know if I left anyone out
  13. ~Twilight Sparkle, in the Citadel Courtyard with Doppleganger~ She listened to Doppleganger talk about his daughter...and his own 'failures'. She wanted to tell him that none of what happened at the Hive was his fault, and there was nothing he could have done except die as well...but she knew her words would be wasted. The mention of Azure, her kidnapped or dead adopted foal, brought a few painful emotional jolts, but she didn't show it. She had to remain strong. What Doppleganger said about friendship, she could only sigh. "...the magic of friendship died long ago for myself, but I wouldn't wish the same on others. Friends are a wonderful thing...but mine have all grown apart, except for Rainbow Dash. Even Rarity had only stayed because she thought Azure was her responsibility..." When he asked if he should wake up Replica, Twilight shook her head gently and gave an even gentler smile. "...no, let the little one sleep. Perhaps I'll have the opportunity to talk to her when she is awake." She paused, looking at the scars on the baby changeling. Hesitating slightly, she whispered a special offer to Doppleganger. "If you want...I can ask Chronarch to possibly reverse the scars." It was something she almost never spoke of, she. Wouldn't even ask of it for herself from Chronarch. But...Replica was just a youngling, surely he would agree? ------- ~Rainbow Dash, inside the Citadel with Chronarch~ The rainbow-maned pegasus looked back at the Archmage and beamed when he had accepted her offer, her wings fluttering slightly. "Sweet!" After a moment, she would realize what she had just said, and blushed a bit...she had sounded just like she had when she was a filly. She hoped Chronarch wouldn't judge her. Clearing her throat, she pointed down one of the halls. "Ahem...well, there's an exit down in that direction that leads to the Celestial Quarter...I heard that a new pub opened up there." As she led the way, her mind dug for something she could talk with Chronarch about, so that they wouldn't have to go all the way there in awkward silence. At last, she came upon a question she had been dying to ask him. So...Chronarch...can you tell me about how Equestria was like back in your time...? How much different was it? Were the princesses...well, I guess what I am trying to say is...were they the same? Were they happy?" ------- ~Shining Armor and Azrael, on a balcony at the Salus Umbra Bund~
  14. ~Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash, in the Citadel's Courtyard~ The two mares stopped and turned to Doppleganger, and Twilight smiled. "Good morning, Doppleganger. I assume you've-" She paused, raising herself up a little more to see a sleeping form on the changeling's back. Upon further examination, her eyes widened in surprise. "...is that...a changeling foal?" Rainbow Dash also stiffened in surprise, lifting up in the air a little bit with her wings before stiffling a gasp of her own. Twilight looked at the sleeping changeling and Doppleganger with a mix of amusement and interest. Twilight could tell the young changeling was a female, and she noticed the scars on the foal's face and leg. Seeing the old wounds made her heart ache with pity and sorrow...no baby should ever suffer such a thing. "Rainbow, please go on ahead...no doubt Chronarch has something up his sleeve he wants to show off." The pegasus shook herself and nodded, lowering to the ground and trotted away, leaving the unicorn and changelings alone. With her friend gone, Twilight spoke up once more. "...whose is she? Is she yours, Doppleganger?" ------- ~Rainbow Dash, within the Citadel~ She entered into the halls through one of the many openings that led to the courtyard. G.E.F. soldiers saluted her as she passed, and she offered the same, her Chancellor's medallion drawing attention to her. Truthfully, she loved it...she was always a fan of attention, ever since she was a foal, and this was no exception. She was powerful, at the top of her game, and admired by her peers. Indeed, her sacrifice for saving Equinia during the fires had only further increased her fame. Foals cheered her name in the streets, pretending to be just like her in their games. The thought of it made her smile...she should write a book or something! Maybe she will when this was all over. After a few moments, she spotted Chronarch in the halls and approached him with a smirk. "Hey there, Archmage. You doing anything...interesting...today?" Her heart thumped a little, and she glanced to the side embarrassedly. "Uh...if not...maybe you and I could...I don't know...get a drink or something?" Her embarrassment was even greater when she realized that she was stumbling on her words. Despite the stallion's obvious (to her) injuries, he was still handsome. It was remarkable more mares weren't falling over him, as was her opinion.
  15. ~Prince Rubyn, Royal Garden»The Chamber of Ravens~ The young stallion was glad to get away from his sister and her pet, Black Moon. Among the Imperial Family, 'accidents' happened all the time for the benefit of others...but why was he still here? Surely, if anything, he would have been the first to die amongst his siblings...but that wasn't so. The Empress had six foals, three of which are now dead, but only one had died honorably...and that was his elder brother Topazin, who had died during the assassination of the last Emperor, their father. Those two deaths had scored lashes across his heart...for they had been the only ones who truly understood him. However, by their deaths, he became stronger, harder, and most of all, wiser. After a few more moments of silence, the Prince finally spoke. "Please forgive my sister and the Nightinggale for their rude behavior. As you may know, the Kori no Yurei and the Imperial Family have had problems in the past...so that set them on edge..." The statement was serving more than just an apology, but also a probing for what Sub-Zero knew of that past event. He kept his eyes ahead, preparing a few more words to say. "...also, you have a few distinct features of a Hikarri, despite your two-legged stature. Black Moon had lost his family in the Hikarri war, so that could be another reason behind his actions earlier." Ironic, so it seemed to Rubyn, considering that from what he gathered, he was the mirror image of a Hiikarri. Wrap a cowl around his head and put him in their tundra war-clothes, and he could be mistaken for one of them. He shivered at the thought of appearing like one of the 'vicious' Hikarri from the war tales. They walked for a few more minutes after exiting the garden, several servants and Nightinggales passing them with respectful bows or curtsies as they made their way through the elegantly crafted hallways. Tapestries and artwork were displayed on the walls, revealing glorious scenes of battles or wilderness, some containing the personages of famous Coltarans over the past three thousand years. They at last came upon a pair of large, circular silver doors that possessed dark raven wings engraved into the metal. "...Grandmaster, if you may, please head down the hall until you come across a gilded wooden door...ask for Silvertongue. He'll answer any questions you may have." He pressed the bottom of his right upper hoof against a small spike on the door's center, pricking the tender flesh and a trickle of blood descending onto it. A small flash of light occured and the silver doors began to part. Nodding his farewell to Sub-Zero, he went inside as the doors shut behind him, making a loud crash.
  16. Alrighty, well, I'll keep a look out for when Math class starts then the fun can begin.
  17. ~Twilight Sparkle, in the Citadel's courtyard~ The unicorn mare stared at the massive fortress being built out on the plains outside of Equinia, a piece of land that had been purchased three weeks ago by the mysterious organization who called themselves Salus Umbra. With their arrival, they brought gifts for nearly every faction, whether it was training, weaponry, or simply knowledge. They claimed they were against Pierrot as well, but Twilight still had an odd feeling about them. Something didn't sit right. Despite how close they were, nothing was known about them...not even their leaders, these 'Grand Masters', were known. But, they offered a substantial amount of aid, and thus were left alone...some-what. She shook her head, turning to her old friend and Chancellor of Equinia, Rainbow Dash. "Rainbow, has Colonel Striker sent any word lately...? Maybe stopped by the Citadel?" She tried not to sound eager, but Rainbow Dash saw right through it. The rainbow-maned pegasus laughed softly. "Not that I am aware of, Twilight. But you know how stallions are...either they are too busy with minor stuff, or too afraid to make a move." Rainbow looked at Twilight's chest a bit worriedly. "...how are you feeling, by the way? Does it still hurt?" The unicorn shook her head, placing a hoof to the spot where she had been shot a month ago. She had infiltrated an R.L.F. secret bunker in order to send an important message through their communication systems, but had got shot by a trigger-happy stallion when she was escaping. The wound had been nearly-fatal, but she had survived due to the work of a surgeon named Dr. Ivy. "No, it is much better. It's almost healed, though it may leave a scar...modern medicine cannot prevent that from happening." The pegasus mare nodded, looking back out at the nearly-repaired city of Equinia. So much had changed about it. The city was now split into different quarters, and a couple were given to the R.L.F. and L.E.H. for their aid during the rebuilding and 'Equinian Apocalypse'. Now, the factions were united in a common goal. The mysterious Freelancers had denied the offer for their own quarter in the city, prefering to keep their secrecy. Not that many complained, though, for they knew little enough of Freelancer as it is. The Citadel was still in its final stages of reconstruction, but it was drastically changed. There now existed several new additions to it, including a Great Hall so that the faction leaders can gather and discuss about policies, military matters, and other important subjects. Things had changed quite dramatically since a few months ago...and hopefully for the better. Twilight turned toward the Citadel and smiled. "Come along, Rainbow. I am sure that there is business to attend to." The pegasus sighed loudly, following along behind her friend as they approached the Citadel, exchanging greetings with various ponies and non-ponies as they traversed the large courtyard to go about their daily routines.
  18. Well, I'm sure the conflict against Pierrot will be where Freelancer shines! Brilliant idea; Freelancer Agents vs. The Chevaliers. Who will win?! Genetic/biological enhancement or supernatural enhancement? Also, the RP is officially up. The starting location will be Equinia (derp), one month after the events of the destruction of the Royal Hive.
  19. ~Icefall Stronghold, One Month after the Royal Hive's destruction~ Darkness had awoken in this land. An ancient evil unleashed by the failings of the mortal races of Equestria. Revolution had sparked the beginning of the continent's end, for total destruction was inevitable. Death would plague the land until its rightful King obtained his throne. Soon, the 'Goliath' would be discovered once more, and the world would be His to rule. Time was short for the Equestrians...and the Age of Pierrot would arrive. It was certain, and there was nothing any creature could do to prevent the Alicorn's rise to eternal power. With the deaths of the Princesses, Equestria had become a ticking time-bomb...and it was near the end of it's countdown. It will all begin here...in this deadened valley. The snow-blanketed valley had once been home to the Royal Hive of the Changelings, but now that very home was demolished, and a massive marble structure stood in its place. Equines brandishing wicked weapons and wearing shining gray armor that stood out against the white landscape roamed the valley and near the newly-built stronghold, it's white spires reaching high into the sky and piercing the clouds above. Dragons hung on balconies quietly, their red gazes searching the countryside under silent vigil. This was once the territory of Changelings. Now it belonged to the Crystal Empire...and Pierrot. Within the white halls of the fortress (now known as Icefall Stronghold), more soldiers patrolled and guarded every door and opening, leaving nothing unprotected. At the very center of the stronghold stood an onyx altar with a pair curled dragon skeletons carved out of volcanic rock resting upon it, as well as a throne that had the granduer of a monarch's, being made of the same stone as the altar and taking on the shape of a crown with thorned roses etched into it. Upon the throne sat a female alicorn in a glittering black gown, her posture relaxed and elegant. Another alicorn stood at her side, a male with indented, black steel armor. Within the indents flowed what appeared to be molten magma, and it covered his entire body except for his face, which held a mark of curved flames beneath his horn. His eyes were blood-red, possessing an unholy glow to them. The two remained silent as another figure approached them from the large hallway that led to the altar. Another alicorn, and much larger and older in appearance. He had a long blue mane, snow-white coat, and deep-blue eyes that studied his surroundings warily. He wore a shining, white suit of armor and wore a glorious diamond crown on top of his head. His arrival made the female alicorn rise from her throne, as she and the other bowed in respect. The kingly alicorn spoke as he stepped upon the altar, his voice carrying throughout the hall. "...Misery. Despair. I see you succeeded in your mission...well done. Your use of the Tartarus Gate is quite...exceptional, Misery." The female alicorn smiled bitterly, thanking him for his praise. "...Pierrot. Father. This battle had taken a toll on us, despite the weakness of the Changelings...including the life of Despair. But...as you can see...he is back among us, and stronger than ever." Misery pronounced, while the male alicorn named Despair simply eyed Pierrot emotionlessly. Pierrot frowned at his son before looking back at his daughter. "...I was told you had a gift for me. Is this it? The resurrection of your brother? You should have left him dead...seeing what he has become, now." The last few words drew a pained expression from Misery, but she quickly shrugged it off and spoke again. "...no, Father. While it is similar, it is not Despair's...reanimation. I think you will enjoy this." Turning her head to one of the side doors, she shouted: "Send her in!" A massive pair of iron doors slid open, revealing a fully-armored, equine creation as she stalked in. Everything about her screamed danger, from the way she moved to the appearance she had. The only visible thing about her body was a pair of glowing red eyes. The mare stopped before the Tartarus Gate, and kneeled respectfully. Pierrot studied the mare before him, and his frown remained. He felt as if he should recognize her...she felt familiar. He barely noticed the gesture his daughter made as she addressed the armored warrior. "Chevalier. Reveal yourself..." Pierrot glanced at Misery for a moment. Chevalier? The mare nodded, standing up from her kneel as her plated-mask began to split apart magically, sliding into the rest of her armor. The mare's coat was a deep dark-blue, her mane a glimmering black like the night sky, with stars glowing within it. The sight made Pierrot draw in breath sharply, as he rasped quietly in shock. "...Princess Luna...?" Misery laughed to herself, her amber eyes glittering. "New and reborn, Father! Your dear sister has returned...and will serve your cause. Chevalier! Who is it you serve, and what is your purpose?!" Luna lifted her head and spoke monotonously. "...we serve the Lady Misery, and her father, King Pierrot. Our purpose is to conquer our old lands of Equestria, and to punish the oathbreakers." Misery smiled again, nodding. "...and what is it that you desire, my dear Luna?!" This drew a reaction from the cold-faced Alicorn, making her lips draw back in a snarl and fire to spring up in her red eyes. "Revenge! Revenge on those who betrayed us and our sister...revenge on Twilight Sparkle!" The response made Pierrot stay in his silence, as another laugh appeared from Misery. Pierrot turned and stared at his daughter for a moment, before his frown turned into a light smile. "...you rise above my expectations, Misery. Your heart is as black as these very stones. I look forward to your growth in the near future..." The female alicorn bowed again, delighted with her father's praise. "Of course, Father. From now on, Luna will be our harbringer of wrath...she will lead the creatures spawned from the Tartarus Gate, and destroy our enemies. I have your own private Chevalier waiting for you...they are a great asset." Pierrot nodded, turning away as he spoke his farewell, exiting the chamber swiftly. Once he was gone, Misery's smile faded, and she looked down at Luna with a sad expression. "...I am so sorry, Auntie." Luna said nothing, simply doing the same as Pierrot had. Misery and Despair stood in silence, until the Chevalier spoke. "...Sister, you know that I, and all the others, will do everything to protect you if you made your move...why hesitate?" Misery shook her head dejectedly. "...he is too powerful for now. He has the support of his armies. We cannot strike until his guard is down...or broken. Now, come here...you need blood to maintain your strength." She lowered her gown a little above her shoulder, and Despair gazed at the open spot hungrily. Looking at her for one more sign of approval, he leaned in and inserted his serrated teeth into her flesh, drawing a sigh from his sister as he dined. "...stay healthy, brother. Our time...will come. Once this...is over...we will be free. But not until...the end." The shrill roar of a dragon shook the chamber, drowning out any other noise made. Darkness has settled in Equestria...
