mm, I sort of did it at the same time .-.

first I got it wet and styled it the way I usually do (wrap it up against her head with rubber bands and let it dry) just so I could get it to stay down. I cut some off while it was drying. then I gelled and wrapped her up in rubber bands again, let it dry. after that I just cut and added gel where and when I saw fit.

Cute, I'm crawling the walls trying to get my Scootaloo figure's mane like yours... X-(

P.S. , How I get forum smilies in the gallery?

ah, the short mane styles require lots of gel to get them to work XD they're really a pain. I had to gel her mane and let it dry three times before it finally stayed down. don't wash it out, gel on top of what you have.

and if you want a forum smiley in the gallery, just type out the symbols for it

well, that's basically what you do, but it's not that easy XD

you have to take the head off, get it warm and pull all the hair out through the tiny neck hole. that in itself took me a few hours.

after that, you have to get the hair back in, one hole at a time. iirc, there's about 50-60 holes, and you have to pull a lock of hair about 1-2 mm thick up through the neck using either a needle and thread or a piece of wire folded in half. you don't have to glue the hair, just tie a big knot at the end. this part took me several days.

ah, just the eyes and the cutie mark. I made it a point to buy two white ponies (rarity's body and blossomforth's head) so that I could take the lazy way out. she also only has one cutie mark... ">_>

I decided after my first drawing of Angie that she doesn't have eyelashes. partially because I like her better without them, but mostly because I'm a lazy bum o)3)

wowie zowie ! this is actually amazing ! i love her mottled mossy coat ! XP i can imagine this in a weird universe where Bronies and pegasisters are an ancient, and htis is one of the great artifects ( as in if it were a real giant 80-foot-tall statue with water for head and tail !One rather petty thing i'm going to mention is it's 'angles' as apposed to 'angels' yeah i know, super petty but i just noticed !

Is she supposed to be some kind of mossy stone statue? Her painted texture kind of reminds me of moss and stone anyway. (If you didn't have to worry about her mane getting tangled, I'd totally suggest putting a fan behind her and having it blow constantly like Celestia. )

ah yes, that's exactly what I was going for :^D a huge old mossy statue waterfall thinger madinger. I was debating on whether or not to make a stand for her too, but because of due dates I decided against it :\

I wanted to see if the fan idea would work, but I was too afraid to tangle her mane so I blew lightly on her. it did nothing, as expected XD

Ah, I guessed wrong. From the tiny thumbnail on the front page, I had guessed that Angie had done this one.
