Well, my area is now under a Wind Advisory until tomorrow morning. Means high winds could bring down power lines and thus, leave me without electricity (and the internet) for a while. Might not happen (hope the winds miss us) but if I disappear from Canterlot for a while, you'll know why. So, all I can do is wait for now.
UPDATE! The storm struck north and west of my location! No damaging winds or loss of power! YAY!!!

"Well, I think that maybe," Ms. Harshwhinney said before the words Gerrard spoke got through to her Earth mare mind. "MY name, on the building? WOW! MY NAME on the building! YES! That would make me famous!"
"Now vait a minute, fraulien..." Professor Krashkop pleaded, "I tink you are not understanding..."
"Harshwhinney Hall! I like the sound of it! Harshwhinney Hall! We could have that engraved in the cornerstone! Then have a big ribbon cutting ceremony! OH it will be GLORIOUS!!"
Now the Professor was dumbfounded. Was Ms. Harshwhinney's imagination running wild? Could she be reeled back in soon?

"AFFIRMATIVE!" Silver spoke out, "MY EXTERIOR FRAME IS WATERPROOF AND MADE OF A RUST FREE ALLOY!"
"Yep, he kin get wet, and I don't mind gitt'n water on me fer a good cause," Tilly added.
"As for repairs. many of us are mechanically inclined," Sye Klops said.
"Quite right, and I'll betcha Silver could use his, abilities, to detect locations of gold veins too," added Con Mane.
"An' we kin put the women ta work cleanin' the machinery," Larry said with a chuckle. "Gold diggin's man's work."
"I can pull my weight, fatso!" the Olden Pony muttered.
"So kin I, ya durn galoot!" added Tilly.
"Query, Gold Digger," Silver spoke, "when would you like the work to commence?"

Much has changed here during the past year, the site's under new ownership and we've added a new RP section too!
If you're interested in RPing on this site, here's some things you'll need to know:
First of all, we have three RP settings, as follows:
WoE is geared to be completely canon. An approved application is required, and you can find the form and some great guidelines and suggestions for completing it here. Cast characters are available for RP in WoE, and your OCs can only be canon species seen in FiM so far. You can find the cast list & rules here, and the species list here. Since WoE is meant to be just like the show, we suggest that you not app anything for your character that you would not see in the show. This doesn’t mean your character has to be boring, not by any means! But anything too dark is not allowed. We also suggest that you keep an eye on the Codexia, which can be found here.
CC is similar to WoE in that approved applications are also required, but any WoE-accepted characters, as long as they aren’t be changed, can be played in CC without needing a new application. The application can be found here. In CC, we do allow some things that don’t fit into WoE. Non-canon species that still make sense in the setting are allowed. Changelings and batponies are available, too! Alicorns will be available as soon as we’ve hammered out definite limitations on them. Cast aren’t available yet, but Rosie and Dio are working hard to set up a system for them in CC. The cast and species lists can be found here. As with WoE, we have a CC-exclusive Codexia that can be found here. Finally, for a better look at the guidelines that set CC apart from WoE, the rules can be found here.

"Extractin' whatsit?" Larry asked.
"Digging dirt, Larry," Con Mane said with a nod, "sounds simple enough."
"Yes, all of us will be glad to help!" added Sye Klops
"You betcha!" Texas Tilly neighed. "Can't wait ta git started!"
"I kin really DIG it! Git it? I don't care who ya are, that's funny!"
"Not funny!" the Olden Pony yelled as she kicked Larry so hard it knocked him over, "now THAT'S funny!"

"We got us anutter' apple order, where is that brother of mine?" Granny Smith asked. "Oh yeah, now I remember, I sent'm ta find AppleBloom."
As the elderly mare spoke, Uncle Apple Strudel returned.
"I am sorry, mein sister, but I cannot find AppleBloom!" the gray bearded stallion neighed. "I have looked everyvhere I can tink of, und she's not dere!"
"Nevermind that fer now, Strudel, fix up a basket with a half bushel of Pink Lady and half of Cameo apples while I collect the money," Granny Smith said, sending her brother scrambling to put together the customized bushel.
Meanwhile, further back in line Professor Krashkop continued his conversation with Carrot Top.
"Dat is vonderba dat you have found a very special somepony! Vhen I vas yur age, I also had somevone special. Her name vas Evengreen, und she vas dee finest looking mare in all of Germaney! I loved her so much, I invented a special perfume to give her as a present. Too bad I did not test it better first dough... I even promised to marry her vonce all her pelt grew back in, but she rejected me! Alas, mein opportunity for love vas lost. I never did figure out vhat vhen wrong vith mein perfume formula, but I used vhat vas left over as a pesticide! So remember fraulien, if dat stallion of yours gives you some homemade perfume, have it tested first, ja?"

The six followed Gold Digger and witnessed him extracting gold.
"That's truly amazin'!" Larry the Cable Pony shouted, "That's the same way I fix up mah Can't Miss Fried Grits! GIT'R DONE!"
"When will you stop thinkin' about food?" Texas Tilly asked.
"I never quits thinkin' of food!"
"It shows!"
"Huh?"
"FASCINATING PROCESS TO EXTRACT THE MINERAL!" Silver spoke out.
"Do you know how much gold you have in this mine?" Sye Klops asked.
"This gold has amazing quality to it, may I examine a nugget?" Con Mane asked as he proved a jeweler's eyepiece and placed it on his left eye.
"What machines are you talking about, young fellow?" the Olden Pony asked.

Professor Krashkop knew Gerrard would figure out the best response to the sobbing mare who was embracing him, and sure enough, the insightful griffon was right on the mark. Whatever was going on in the mind of the sad orange mare, she had to be brought back to reality. So quickly, he withdrew from her and now had a stern look on his face.
"You must pull yurself together, fraulein Harshwhinney!" the elderly Pegasus stallion neighed. "Vee have a job to do, und all of dis drama is vaiting valuable time! Snap out of it now, SNELL!"
The 'tough love' approach seems to work on Ms. Harshwhinney. After wiping the remaining tears from her eyes, the blonde purple blazer wearing Earth mare returned back to her 'normal' self.
"Of course, you are correct, Professor," she said in a sterner voice, "There is no time for foolish thinking, now, let's get back to the business at hoof, these floor plans! I've decided we will NOT have this invention of yours installed in this building. Regular stairs will suffice. Now, Mr. Grayfeather, what would you suggest for the top floor's roof? Perhaps a number of elevated glass panes to allow for extra natural light to enter?"

WoE is geared to be completely canon. An approved application is required, and you can find the form and some great guidelines and suggestions for completing it here. Cast characters are available for RP in WoE, and your OCs can only be canon species seen in FiM so far. You can find the cast list & rules here, and the species list here. Since WoE is meant to be just like the show, we suggest that you not app anything for your character that you would not see in the show. This doesn’t mean your character has to be boring, not by any means! But anything too dark is not allowed. We also suggest that you keep an eye on the Codexia, which can be found here.
CC is similar to WoE in that approved applications are also required, but any WoE-accepted characters, as long as they aren’t be changed, can be played in CC without needing a new application. The application can be found here. In CC, we do allow some things that don’t fit into WoE. Non-canon species that still make sense in the setting are allowed. Changelings and batponies are available, too! Alicorns will be available as soon as we’ve hammered out definite limitations on them. Cast aren’t available yet, but Rosie and Dio are working hard to set up a system for them in CC. The cast and species lists can be found here. As with WoE, we have a CC-exclusive Codexia that can be found here. Finally, for a better look at the guidelines that set CC apart from WoE, the rules can be found here.
