  1. Radiant was shocked to see her superior officer, the unicorn Bonfire suddenly appear. She was then filled with embarrassment to be reprimanded by him. Her father would be ashamed of her, acting in such a fashion while wearing the esteemed title of Royal Guard.

"I was out of line, sir!" Radiant called out in a militant fashion as she stepped back and stiffened up. "I apologize, sir!"

Radiant stepped back again, ready to let the sergeant handle the roguish unicorn. She continued to glare at the unpleasant pony regardless, still sure she was up to no good.

  2. Best Night Ever is my favorite of these. it was just the perfect way to end the first season in my opinion. It had an awesome song. And not enough can be said about Fluttershy's part in it...

Winter Wrap Up is second of this group. The song is just perfect. The rest of the episode could just suck, and I would still vote for it for that song. It doesn't suck however, it's a great episode showcasing a really cute side of Twilight's personality.

I had a tougher time deciding my third pick. I ultimately went with Look Before you Sleep. Mostly because I'm an Applejack fan. Twilight is really cute in this one too, which is fun.

  3. I haven't been doing this all that long either, but I think if the thread says it's "open" you're free to join whenever and however you want, so long as it makes sense obviously. On the other hand, if the thread is instead labeled as "closed" or "invite only", or if it's not labeled in at all, you would have to message whoever started the thread to sort it out first before joining.

  4. I was RPing in two separate threads with Caunedheil today, and we each made a lot of posts in both threads. I then logged off for a couple hours and when I returned I noticed all posts in both topics made after about 3 hours ago had vanished.

I'm kind of curious as to why. I mean, if I did something wrong, that's fine. I'm just hoping for an explanation as to why these posts are gone, if I can get one.

    Thanks.

  5. "Wonderful," Lady said with a small laugh.

"How long do you think this will be?" she then asked. She honestly didn't know very much about metalwork, but she was willing to wait as long as she needed to for quality. She was in no hurry. As far she knew no one had followed her back to Rockwington. They never did. She was ready to stay here until that familiar urge to test her luck once more returned.

  6. ((Desktop ponies? Sounds cute...))

Spirit nodded and spoke quietly, "That sounds nice..."

Spirit began to watch Dahlia draw with great interest. It was fascinating seeing the sketch come together, especially since Dahlia was so good at it. Spirit eyes watched the paper with amazement as the buds began to take shape on it.

  7. "Excellent," Lady said with a warm smile and a laugh. "I'll let you decide what you want to make. Something practical for a pretty pony perpetually on the prowl? Or perhaps something you just think might compliment my eyes? It's your choice."

Lady giggled again. She was having fun. Why hadn't she thought of this before? She always had more gold than she knew what to do with. If she was going to hide out in this town, why not make use of their metal workers to make her stuff she could use and wear with it? It was only logical.

"If I like what you make for me, I promise I'll definitely make it worth your time," Lady playfully said, smiling and looking the stallion in the eye.

  8. Spirit looked around the shop in awe. There were so many colors. She really didn't understand it but she had to say that it looked kind of... nice. She barely looked at the older mare who greeted them as she stared around the shop, trying to take it all in. Even in the forest she had never seen so many flowers in one place, especially so many different varieties.

She moved slowly toward where Dahlia lead. She looked at the little blue buds. They weren't like the other flowers, having not bloomed yet. Spirit wondered if once they did, they'd looks as nice as all the other flowers in the shop. It was kind of exciting thinking about it.

She smiled softly as she looked at them, but she couldn't think of anything to say.

  9. Radiant was fuming. She knew this unicorn was just trying to provoke her, but all the same she couldn't help but become furious. She wanted to beat this unicorn into the ground. She had to resist. She was a defender not an attacker. The cutie mark on her flank, obscured by her glistening armor was a shield. She had to stand strong. She had to protect the princesses, not lash out at this ill-mannered unicorn.

"Do you mean to imply that what Nightmare Moon did was not something that deserved a severe punishment? Eternal night means a doomed Equestria! The plants we feed on would have all quickly died without the sun's light to nourish them. Without the sun's warming rays, temperatures would have declined rapidly until the cold was beyond what a pony could endure. Nightmare Moon's plan meant the total eventual death of Equestria and all ponykind, and you think that not worth strict and immediate punishment?" Radiant argued vehemently.

"I'm positive it was with much heaviness that the Princess cast her sister into the moon, but still, I do think it was a necessity. That the two of them have found the love in their hearts to come back together and forgive one another, is I think unquestionably beautiful, but that does not change that Nightmare Moon was always the one in the wrong," she continued.

Radiant looked down. She stepped forward and spoke boldly, "So to answer your other meaningless question, it is with Princess Celestia whom my loyalties will always lie. It is her to whom I swore my oath. I would go to any extreme in her service!"

  10. Lady gave short laugh as she realized she was really getting to this poor sap now. He was really buying into it. Which was good considering Lady was genuinely impressed with his skill. She reached back into the pouch she wearing on her flanks. She found the small bag stuffed full of bits she had stole from the Canterlot gentlecolt within it and brought it to the stallion's table, giving another giggle as she did.

"Lady Luck is the name, but you can call me Lady," she introduced herself in a fond voice. "Ace gambler with unbeatable luck. I happen to be after an accessory fitting a pony of my standing."

Lady smiled and let open the bag of gold coins. She smiled. "You think you could melt these down and make something pretty for me?" she asked.

  11. Spirit looked at the structure, overgrown with plant life. She didn't quite understand. What use were these flowers to the ponies who lived here? What's more, this seemed to be a shop... Why would ponies buy flowers? It didn't make a lot of sense to the young unicorn.

Spirit noticed some of the flowers were blue, which caused her to backup in fear that they might be something nasty like the Poison Joke she had encountered in the Forest. She calmed down just a little when she noticed they were shaped differently. Her mentor had had books on flora, but she hadn't gotten to them yet, and was thus unable to identify any of the flowers or plants she saw. Still, she couldn't be too sure.

"None of them are dangerous, are they?" she asked while looking away.

  12. "Looks and talent... Aren't you quite the catch," Lady said with playful smile, noticing her flirting was perhaps getting to the stallion a bit more. Much like the metal this pony worked with, stallions always became more pliable when heated up a little.

"So, you can do this sort of work with any metal then?" she asked, narrowing her eyes, some fun ideas popping up in her head. "And do you take custom orders?"

  13. Spirit smiled at her name being compliment. She had to nod in agreement.

It was still a little hard for her to get excited about seeing flowers. She still associated flowers with the forest and the nightmares it had held for her. Spirit had learned a lot since then though. Books had taught her that certain flowers had certain special properties and uses. Not to mention, some were particularly tasty. Maybe this might be interesting to see after all? Spirit didn't really know. She was however beginning to feel more comfortable around this Dahlia Blossom.

"Okay," she said with a nod, ready to follow Dahlia.

  14. Lady smirked slightly. This stallion seemed a little less affected by her famous smile than most, which left Lady a little dissatisfied.

Still, she looked at the trinkets presented to her. Most of it looked like garbage to her. She was Lady Luck, gambler extraordinaire. Common metal trinkets would never do. Some pieces began to catch her eye as she looked closer though. The workmanship was actually surprisingly quite nice. Ideas began to form in Lady's head.

"These aren't half bad," said Lady in a low voice as she admired the details.

"Who made them?" she asked before giving a girlish giggle. "Don't tell me it was you?"
