Just hope Hinata is in for some mane-6 cooperation. I think Rainbow and Fluttershy are kinda special friends, especially after the Hurricane episode. So I wouldn't wonder if they team up all the time... or most of it, everyone has a fight at some point.

I meant that we can start together - with this group of people and if later somepony wants to join, he could simply join by claiming he has been seperated after the ship crashed. Aw, but I understand, since I play RbD I kinda have to get into her ways of thinking to be convincing - doing the same with another pony next to that would totally set me off. But maybe someone reads this and feels like playing Rarity?

We so need Rarity in this... please someone, do it! All the dirt and hard work on the island, paired with my character - thats just going to be hilarious.

That totally sounds like what is happening in "Lost". The getting seperated thing is just so people can hop on later on - if we feel like a few new people wouldn't hurt. We can still start together with the group here - right?

The ship could be smashed on a reef, so ponies are getting to the island on different places aswell as you can find all kinds of stuff if you search the shoreline. Just my idea.

I honestly didn't think this would start this fast either - its like dashing to a new RP. But this sure could get interesting if anyone takes his character flaws serious - and doesn't exaggerate in terms of reactions, with someone bragging as badly as I do that sure could be a problem I worry too much xD This will be fun - are you going to close the apps or keep it open? Depending on the way we got on the island it might be possible we are scattered - then we always can find new people.

Depends on the reason for the journey, either its animals (then Fluttershy would convince RbD) or if its for any other reason, then you would be right. =P

Indeed. So we got a Fluttershy now too? Awesome! As soon as StarStorm gives us some detail how we ended up on that island, we can start making some predetermined relationships and storys. Maybe Rainbow convinced Fluttershy for the trip? Maybe the other way around? Maybe its all related to Derpy? Who knows? ^^

So here we go, I will keep it short, since she's a part of the Mane 6 and people know her mostly anyway. Name: Rainbow Dash Gender: Mare (yes she really is) Race: Pegasus Brief History: Originally from Cloudsdale Rainbow Dash moved to Ponyville, where she has her own house in the sky. Her job is to keep the sky clean from any clouds, except on the days that are schedulded to be rainy ones. She also leads the pegasi ponies of Ponyville to various tasks, for example the resupplying of Cloudsdale water reservoir. Looks: A light blue colored mare with magenta eyes and rainbow colored mane and tail - as we all know her. Cutie Mark: Her cutie mark is three-colored lightning coming out of a cloud. She got it after she performed her first sonic rainboom at the Cloudsdale summer flight camp, which happened when she tried to defend Fluttershy from the pegasi who where bullying her. Personality: For her there is only one way to solve problems: With the head through the wall. She is very athlethic and adventurous, never fearing the unknown, but also a very loyal pony. Dash is very proud of her athletic skills and would describe herself as cool, radical and agile. Likes and dislikes: Winning and being better than everyone else - and bragging about it! She dislikes anything "uncool" in her eyes and gets easily upset with people who aren't doing what she wants. Character flaws: Dash sure has some major flaws. Her bragging annoys the hell out of other people and her competitiveness causes fights quite often. Also due to her mischievousness she tends to laugh at others misery and play pranks. She also is a horrible loser and even losing a simple "fun" game can upset her. Whenever possible she is lazy - but if someone needs her, this flaw is quickly forgotten. Could your character possibly ever be a leader? Would s/he have any desire to?: Totally. Not even does Rainbow taken over the role of the leader quite often, but she also loves seeing others to do what she wants. There is nothing better than letting other ponies do your work right? Random fact: Only pony able to perform the Sonic Rainboom. Anything I left out..? ^^ : Even though she seems so mischievous, Rainbow Dash has a good heart and will not lead anyone into doom - ever. That's about it, I would love to know HOW we stranded on that island though? It could be quite important, since if it was a ship there might still be the ship which could offer interesting objects to interact with, while a plane could give us scrap metal or so? I would like to know mainly for the history though, so maybe Rainbow could have come along with Derpy? Edit: Resizing images doesnt want to work... need a second to fix it >_>

I read the entire OOC post now (quite a bit and not easy to read =P) and it sounds like my style of things. I would be glad to join, but you might need to tell me anything important about what RbD did and if any development happened. I read that she flirted with Dusk, but thats about it. And as I said, I don't care if you want to play one of your OCs or a cast character, whatever you are up to. Just need a fun adventure (I'm up for something Daring Do style =P) and the romance will come by itself. If you don't have any idea I sure can think of several things - but I am really having a hard time focusing on stories right now so it would be cool if you come up with something. That would probably be a private RP then, I don't mind if you want to invite someone else though.

Sure, just tell me what would you prefer, try around with a cast pony or your OCs? Because for me it doesn't make much of a difference. Its just a different story. A member of the cast would make it a "from friend to romance" story while an OC would be more a "getting to know eachother and then romance" story. I'm up for either. As for your Infected Roleplay, I will have a look into the thread, I just got confused because StarStorm already had the role of RbD, but since I read through the replies I see hes trying to get this running again and also up for switch roles? I don't want to upset anyone, but if its no issue for her, I will gladly take the role if the RP suits me - just give me some time to read through the OOC post and some of the RP.

So here I am and looking for some ponies. As the title suggests I would like to play Rainbow Dash. Further introduction of her character is not necessary, I believe you all know her quite well. First of all, some things about me: I'm not a native speaker, so there is a chance my sentences could contain mistakes. I'm a roleplay veteran, doing it since six years now. I roleplayed as Dash too and I believe I'm quite convincing. Lately things died down for me a lot, so I came here to find some new partners. The rest of my text here will be preferences, so if you have a different idea don't think you won't get me to play, just ask! What kind of RP: I'm open to private and public RPs alike. For private - just tell me what you like to do and I will answer, either a message or post here it doesn't matter. For public - roughly the same, but if you already have a thread give me a link. Please note that I'm very open to help someone create a public RP if he wants to. Or if you are looking for ponies to start with. I also don't mind if you want me to make something like a "guest appearance" in any kind of RP. Topic of the RP: Romance Adventure Those are the most interesting for me, especially if combined. Your Character: For adventure it really doesn't matter. If romance is involved I would prefer a cast pony or a female OC - since I already have a RBD/stallion RP elsewhere. If you plan a different topic for the RP, just ask me. Well I guess thats enough to work with, just drop me a PM or reply here and I will answer quickly, since I don't really have much else to do. P.S.: I'm a very active RP player, it would be pleasant if you would be too!

Thanks everyone! I hope we have a good time. Ah, I see now. I'm used to have OOC discussion really only used to discuss things publicly (for open RPs) and usually there was a own section for requests. Nevertheless I'm happy to hopefully be good on my own now. (If that grammar made sense). When I got used to everypony here I will probably even setup one or two OCs (very detailed), but until that my whole desire is focused on Rainbow Dash.

Evil Science Rainbow Dash? Mhmm... that would surely be funny. Well thanks for the help. I will look around. There is just one more question: I'm used to make request threads for whatever I want - how does it work here? In other words: How do I find people who want to play a certain idea?

I watched the episode with the welcome song today =P I'm not quite through with the second season, so I will probably need one or two more days before I get to roleplay. However I wanted to ask... you only need applications for the Equestia Mane RP sub-section or do you need it for the entire World of Equestria section? Because I would rather start with a private RP, since thats how I used to roleplay, I never was much into group roleplays (especially not open ones) - but also I never had the chance to take part in one which was very active, so that might change. I practiced quite a bit to be a good Rainbow Dash, so I hope I find some nice partners for roleplaying.

Of course I know Rammstein, but I'm not a fan. I will be majoring in physics, boring choice but nothing else will get me to bionics later on. Chimaira and Dimmu Borgir aren't symphonic metal, Chimaira is Metalcore and Dimmu Borgir is Black Metal.

Well, I mostly go with After Forever, Epica, Within Temptation, Old Nightwish, Children Of Bodom, Chimaira, Dimmu Borgir and ... well its not metal, but I like Buckethead.

I thought I pointed that out above^^ I like metal, especially symphonic metal and also classical music. No, I don't even know what it is.

2nd main character is a much tougher choice, so it depends. I really love raging and crazy Twilight (her time travel and the lack of a report come to mind). Fluttershy when she is evil (Gala, the episode with the Minotaur). And then normal Rarity. (THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING.) My favourite background pony is: Minuette My favourite episode is: May the best pet win! My favourite song is: Find a pet song and Smile song. I just love the duet between Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. I would love to hear it in german though, since the german voice actor is quite famous and her voice in general fits Rainbow Dash just perfectly. To be perfect she had to sing it in english >_> . (She voice acted Keira Knightley in Pirates of the Caribbean for example). Other than that, I really enjoy very different kinds of music. I like symphonic metal (After Forever, Epica) and classical music (Vivaldi mostly). Dark wave and classic rock work too. I just can't stand pop music, I would even take rap over it. I think that's enough for now, just ask me if you have any questions. As for me, I already looked through the forum and read how to write a application for a cast-pony. Though there are several things still confusing me... if I can't figure it out on my own I will ask.
