I could merge these, but the way it seems to me, this topic is about the writer's "coming out" story, while Random Encounters () is about OTHER Bronies being discovered. While there is some crossover, the topics seem distinct enough to me.

I believe gore, vice, and profane material need to be level zero in this thread to coincide with Canterlot's all-ages policy -- the 18+ section is reserved for certain content for a reason. Beware ponyfolk, beware!

Well, if we're doing a meetup (and again, I stress that this is not officially sanctioned by Canterlot anything. Kids, get permission from mom and dad, etc., etc.), day one would make more sense, I'd think. I'm afraid of getting there and not making any friends and GAAAAAAAH IVE NEVER DONE A CONVENTION BEFORE. So, like, being able to have people to meet early on would be cool.

If I did go to a convention, it would likely be Everfree NW, not BroNYcon.
