I like the bottom center the best, although I think somewhere between black and the other outline color would be better.

But yeah, it's not conclusive. I think different styles might be best for different circumstances.

I certainly like it. THe expressions are great, Fluttershy in particular. One odd spot I see, however, is pinkie's mouth. Her tongue seems a bit wide.

Yeah, most of the best color schemes have been taken.

Considering the show's concepts are all based around pencils, and storyboards are done in pencils, you're bound to come up with designs that look closer to the show's designs. Drawing with a tablet or a mouse, or vectoring, are so different, y'know? And that initial pencil is so fundamental to the shape and composition of an image.

I love how cartoony your art looks. I do think something is lost in the precision and perfection of the computer generated vectors of the show. Not to take anything away from the look of the show, because the end result including the animation is fantastic (achieving a similar framefrate and fluidity with hand drawn art would be prohibitively expensive!), but hand drawn are has wabi -- flaws that make the product more perfect.

ANgles is kinda your thing, and I dont think RD looks masculine here because her jaw is round. It's an angly jaw that vibes masculine, IMO.

In any case, I like her expression here.
