  1. I am so excited, because I met a fellow Pegasister today at the mall. I was taking one of our old PS3's into VStock to resell when I saw she had the cutest Vinyl Scratch bag. Seeing as how I work with DJs regularly on the weekends, Vinyl Scratch is one of my favorite background ponies, so naturally I had to compliment the bag. When she turned around I saw she had on a Derpy t-shirt, Dr. Hooves scarf, Rainbow Dash necklace, and Pinkie Pie ear rings. So much cute pony stuff! I wish I had something like that on too, but I had met up with a client that day so I was still in my professional garb.

We quickly struck up a conversion as the VStock guy looked over the used PS3. I found out she also has a love for fabrics just like me! I love to design things and play with fabrics, and we were near a

JoAnn Fabric store. After we were done with VStock, we decided to hang out at the fabric store.

I am so glad she carried a notebook, because we were able to start sketching out designs for a Fluttershy costume she wants to make. I want to sketch out some better detailed designs for her soon, but we came up with a good base idea for the outfit that can easily be embellished upon. We also started on a tail design that she loves! So excited! I just love sewing so much!

She also told me about a Brony group in my home town, and I am now on their Facebook page. I am really looking forward to meeting some new friends.

  2. Makes you wonder though, he enjoyed the character of discord.

    Who knows?

Off topic: I'm sorry for my slow contribution to our project, I'm trying to change gears from vacation to class time. This is my second day back and I already have a test on 3 chapters of material. I do respond to RPs im in, but Its hard to find the time and energy to get on our Gdoc. I apologize and it's not fair at all. My FiM readers are getting neglected and I'm neglecting our project. I'll try to do better.

Well, we hit a little creative snag, so there is still some time. I also need to create a second doc for OOC discussion anyway, and this week has been kind of unforgiving.

  3. Oh also I mentioned a while ago the pattern of S3 having a song every other episode...there was no song in Spike at Your Service. If the pattern holds true, and this next episode is a Discord episode...oh, my...Chrysalis sang, I don't put it past FiM to give Discord a song.

Now think about that, let it soak in, let the thought fester in your mind and churn...

    Discord.

    Singing.

    Discord.

    Singing.

    Discord_putting_on_glasses_S2E02.png

    Singing!

If it happens, oh man, OH man...I might just flip a table.

Is it just me or does that photo make it look like Discord is about to go all Gangum Style on us?

  4. Wilson!!! Welcome!!! Good to see you here buddy!

I really think you'll have a good time here, especially since you are a much more serious role player than I am. I'm still trying to get one started or joined into. Having a video pony OC doesn't make it easy though. I'm just enjoying the random stuff for right now, along with the episode discussions and writing discussions.

  5. When you spend hours working on a fanfic, keeping the writing on one side of the screen, with the relevant episode on the other side, to keep the story 20% more accurate than you would without it. (Done it)

I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this. Do you also have up the Wiki at the same time on another tab?

  6. When the following happens at a wedding:

-The pianist plays "Canon in D," you think to yourself about how much an instrumental version of "This Day Aria" would be better.

-You expect the officiant to be Princess Celesta instead of a priest.

-You look at the bride and bridesmaids dresses and think of Rarity.

-You wish the get away vehicle was a carriage instead of a limo or party bus.

-You wonder what the bride is doing before the ceremony, and if it is sinister.

-You think a sonic rainboom would be so much better than those cheesey bubbles.

-You look at the cake topers and imagine them as Princess Cadence and Shining Armor.

-The DJ at the reception reminds you of Vinal Scratch.

-You expect the catering to be done by Applejack.

-You expect the open bar to have cider.

-Your drink of choice at the reception is an appletini.

-Eveeytime you see kids dancing around on the floor you envision little fillies and colts, and possibly Spike.

-Whoever catches the bouquet reminds you of Rarity, especially if the girls fight over the bouquet.

-You expect to hear "Love Is In Bloom" as the first dance.

-The wedding coordinator reminds you of Pinkie Pie.

-You wish this was taking place in a castle.

And now for the vendor list:

-The bride is such a bridezilla that you expect members of the wedding party to start disappearing into the floor in a blaze of green flames.

-You expect to get tipped in bits.

-You think of the fan videos to various songs the DJ plays. IE: Gangum Style.

-When you talk to the bride you have to remember not to call her princess.

-At wedding shows you expect to hear your potential client to start making plans based on A Canterlot Wedding.

-You smile as you film a little flower girl playing with My Little Ponies, especially if the toy is Princess Cadence.

    -Barn weddings make you smile.

-Someone in the wedding party reminds you of a character from the show.

-You expect to hear that the honeymoon is taking place someplace in Equeatria.

-The bride and bridesmaids dresses could have been hoof stitched better by Rarity than what they paid for at David's Bridal.

-The table decorations remind you of something out of the show.

-The florist reminds you of Rose.

-The toasts remind you of an episode.

-The wedding coordinator reminds you of Twilight Sparkle.

-While filming a slow dance with couples you think about fanon couples dancing together. IE: Derpy and Dr. Hooves.

By the way, I'm a wedding videographer, so many of these apply to me. :D

  7. I'm quite a fan of the new BBC series, in fact! I've only seen the first two episodes, but I really love Benedict Cumberpatch as Sherlock, and I think Martin Freeman plays a really interesting version of Watson.

I'm quite well, thank you for such a diverse greeting! I've seen you give it around the forums quite a few times, and I thought I'd offer an additional greeting: Konnichiwa! It's Japanese for 'hello' or 'good day'.

Of you've got Netflix, they have up to series 2. The Irene Adler episode is a classic! They are already talking about a series 3, so I am getting excited. I also look forward to seeing Benedict Cumberbatch in the new Star Trek movie. I also want to see Martin Freeman as Bilbo Bagins too, but have not made it the theater yet.

  8. They're not adult mares. just Realy big fillies.

(WE RETURN YOU TO SCEDULED CRITIQING)

This episode is great one, with a great look in how ineffectivness is more memorable than gettin it done. one thing, however... THE BUCKING SONG! STOP MAKING SONGS I LOVE AND HATE! I CRINGE AND DANCE TO THIS DISASTERPIECE!

Some ponies don't have cutie marks and then again some folk'll

Like Cletus, the slack jawed yokel!

    Thank you Simpsons.

  9. It's surprisingly true. I'm pretty sure there's a Pokey Oaks reference somewhere in the MLP series as well. You know, the elementary school the powerpuff girls went to? I'll have to double check that to make sure, so don't quote me on it just yet.

Isn't that Granny Smith's father's name? Or fannon name? The wiki has that as his name. If I wasn't on my phone I would post a link.

  10. So 2013 is coming! I'm sure 2012 has brought about some interesting stories for everypony. So share!

Here's what happened to me that was most eventful:

-Got detained by an antelope in the St. Louis Zoo while filming a wedding reception.

-Got to film a dog as part of a wedding party.

-Put over 2,000 miles on my car filming weddings, more specifically in Central IL, Central MO, and Northern and Southern IL and MO.

    -Trained three new video employees.

Seems the only time I get out to do anything is when I'm filming weddings. :geek: I have got to get out more.
