  1. Dark glanced over at Purple and stammered a bit shaking his head, "Huh? Oh! No no, it's very good! I'm savouring it, it's been a few days since I had a good meal and I wanted to make it last, just have a...bit of a headache is all." he said rubbing his head, he wasn't about to say that the headache was her brother though, that would cause a whole 'nother level level of trouble Dark just didn't have the time, nor patience, to deal with, "It is really good, I promise!" he said with a nod, taking a big bite for emphasis.

"I've just had a long day is all. Getting stuck in a window and all that. Not accustomed to farm work either. All adds up. I'll probably take a nice long nap when I get home." he said as he went back to eating, a nap sounded nice, but it also meant he could sneak back to the school and grab the books he had planed on earlier as well.

  2. Dark stood there in awe for a few moments, watching the billowing smoke shift through things Edgar Allen Poeny probably saw in his dreams each night. It was so beautiful. Like a cascade of images both horrifying and beautiful in nature, "That...is so....AWESOME! I will HAVE to remember that one." Dark said tapping his head, as if to embed the mental note.

"Another couple? Alright, let's see what we got." once more digging through his cape, Dark walked over to where Pinkie stood, handing over a white silver potion and a potion that seemed to shift between pink and blue in the right light, "It doesn't seem that first one had any dangerous side effects. Maybe it's safer than I thought it would be!" he said, both happy and sad. He kind of hoped there would be some vicious sludgy ooze monster that would rage out and attack Ponyville! But alas, it didn't seem that would be today. Maybe he could make something like that?

  3. Dark savoured his meal as long as he could. Partly out of the delight at the flavour, but more out of attempting to avoid any extended lengths of conversation. He knew it would either end up embarrassing or badly. He just couldn't seem to catch a break today. Getting caught trying to enter the school, almost getting killed (possibly) by an angry older brother, getting his dye washed off. And then the taunting. Oh the taunting. Even if it was supposedly lighthearted, it still irked him. If only he had some kind of hoofhold in Equestria ANYWHERE, then he'd get more respect...And probably more good food like this.

Swallowing another bite of his food, Dark finally spoke up again, "I was ent...Exiting the school through the window, as a shortcut of sorts. Not a huge one. Even smaller when you get caught in a window." the colt was bruxing his teeth, white knight, white knight. OH how he hated the sound of that.

  4. Glitzen smiled, his 'zebra' friend certainly was quite the wordsmith. He would have to see about Honeywing writing him a poem sometime, if he was doing this well at rhyming. "Well thank you darling, I appreciate the compliment." he said with a giggle as he followed him along to the refreshment table, grabbing up his own glass of punch, "Oh~ Well, I dabble in fashion design. I own a lovely little salon back home in Ponyville. It's such a passion of mine! I couldn't imagine doing anything else really." putting on a faux thinking face, Glitzen smiled, "Oooh, there is one stallion. A handsome, charming, sensitive pegasus, one with an ear to listen, a shoulder to lean on and a smile that can warm the coldest night." he said proudly. While yes, Glitzen may have been putting great emphasis on it, he meant every word of it.

"So, Mr. Stripe, is there a lucky mare in your life? If you don't mind me prying a bit."

  5. Dark blushed a bit at the patting. It was going to take a while for the villain to get used to the affection, but now that they were together, it shouldn't be that hard. Having faced more harrowing challenges than he could count, he was certain he could get used to something so simple as that. Right? "Oh most definitely! You could be the ominous evil queen to my malevolent iron hoofed king! We'd make and amazing team after all. I'd strike fear by being ever present, always watching, and you could be the terror that haunts them as they sleep, a shadow they always feel watching them. It'd be marvelous on many multiple levels!" he said with a grin that was both disconcerting and adorable at the same time.

"Well, you don't HAVE to be mean. You can just pretend to be. Deception is another good way to keep the masses under your control. Make them think you'll end them in the blink of an eye! Bluff good enough, and no one will ever think to challenge you!" the colts perceptions on what worked were rather skewed at best, perhaps he was just that silly, or maybe he had read one two many cheesy comic books in his day. Whatever the case may be, Dark Core was completely determined to be the greatest evil villain in the world. Though his reasoning behind it was still a mystery.

  6. "Oh? Business you say, how lovely!" Glitzen replied with a smile as he returned the bow at the end of the waltz. It felt like it ended to soon, but at the very least, it was a charming dance with the equally charming 'zebra'. "I must say you certainly are charming. Is your business swooping in and wooing ponies for a living? If so, you do a good job darling." he said with a grin and a small giggle, "But if it's not, perhaps you should look into it as a side job, no?"

Glitzen's night had went from great to amazing in no time once Honeywing had arrived, he just wanted to break out and love all over him then and there, but the charade was just too fun to end too soon.

  7. Dark couldn't help but laugh as the cloud of horrid smoke clung to Pinkie Pie, almost like a swarm of angry bees chasing after the pony who broke their hive. The even was made even more humourous as she ran right straight into a tree, falling to the ground and flailing, "Dahahahhaha! Oh man, that's hilarious! Pffffhahah...ahh...Okay, heh. Now that you're alright..." Dark said beginning to dig through his cape before finally pulling out a viscous looking dark purple potion and passing it to Pinkie, "Here, you have the honours and I'll..." Dark quickly dashed behind a tree a few yards away, "observe from over here! Better angle and all that."

Part of the villain hoped that it would cause a large explosion, or at least cause the smoke to cling to Pinkie again, he would just have to wait and see it seemed.

  8. Dark growled to himself, he hated his natural colours, and here these two were, complimenting the hues he was cursed with. Was the humiliation really worth the food? For a moment, he decided it wasn't, that he was just going to grab his cape and make his escape, but upon seeing the meal that Purple had prepared, the looks, the smells, and oh he could only imagine the taste! A twitch came to his eye when Carrot called him a knight. A knight? Of all things, a knight? Why not just slap his face? "Hrrrngh. I am NOT a knight. Nor would I ever BE a knight. The thought of it makes my stomach crawl. The very idea is simply detestable!" he nearly spat, grinding his teeth.

"Ahem, indeed, everything looks delicious!" he said with a nod, attempting to regain some semblance of composure, it wouldn't be long, he could eat, get his cape, and get out. Save himself anymore embarrassment today, and get back to his lair before anyone else saw him. With his stomach grumbling lightly from hunger, Dark proceeded to get himself a plate of the warm food, with how good it looked, he was sure that it was going to taste amazing. And with a bite into it, he was right, "Mmm! This is delicious Purple, much kudos!"

  9. OKAY. So I'm freaking out.

Yesterday my computer BSOD'd on me. Didn't have any problems til around 6am. At 6 am this morning, it booted back to the Boot screen where it shows the HP logo, I had to turn the comp off twice to get it to start normally. I got up a little bit ago and saw that the comp was ONCE AGAIN sitting at the HP Boot screen. I don't know what all is wrong, if it's major, minor, what. Also don't know when it could happen again, so I thought I'd post here as a 'better safe than sorry' that way folk will know what's up if I drop off the face of the net for a while. Hopefully it's nothing major and I can get it fixed soon. If it's not something major...Nightmare knows when I can get a new computer...

  10. Shaking himself off a bit more before stepping into the home Dark rolled his eyes a little, "No no no. It has nothing to do with singing or composing. Oh, thanks." the colt didn't need to be told twice to warm up by a fireplace; at least he wouldn't be sopping wet for much longer, "Ahem, as I was saying, it doesn't have anything to do with that, the cape is a statement. I just enjoy darker, melancholy music. Ones that show the depressing side of life you see." he said as though it were a perfectly normal thing, but, then again, Dark Core was far from 'normal', down right strange was more like it.

Sputtering a little bit, the villain shuddered, "Ugh. No, never. HISSSS. That has to be the worst role in any play or opera, or, hay, even in real life." Dark said shaking his head, saying he could be a hero was like taking a knife between his ribs and twisting it. In fact he probably would have almost preferred that! "That's why I dye my pelt, the horrible notion of ME being a, bluh, hero of any sort makes my skin crawl and my stomach churn. Not for me, nuh uh. Nooooo thanks." he said spinning around to dry the rest of himself by the fire.

  11. Dark sputtered and flailed as Carrot sprayed him, "GAH GLUB PFTHACK!" eye twitching angrily, the colt took a deep breath and counted to ten...Okay twenty, and calmed himself down. A smidgen at the very least. He couldn't get TOO angry, lest he risk losing a meal. Or worse. Either way, Dark forced out a chuckle of his own, attempting to show humour at his own misfortune, "Ahem. I bet that was interesting times...I've never been big on heavier music. I prefer melancholic music or arias." he said as he double checked his hooves, yup, mud free and sadly dye free as well. Why does everything seem to go wrong?

"My....scene? No scene. I just hate looking like this. It doesn't suit me, it's not who am and not who I want to be." the colt replied matter of factally. Though more than likely, it didn't make an sense to the older stallion; but Dark felt no need to explain himself, it was none of HIS business after all. 'Ugh, white and blonde, it's so...blech...why me...' he thought to himself, levitating the bucket behind him as he followed Carrot back into the house.

  12. Glitzen smiled at Bramble's enthusiasm, it was good to see that small stallion had such a big passion, "That's true dear, we all must start somewhere. Why when I was younger, my first job was giving manecuts for three bits. It wasn't easy, but it did pave the way to greater things! And helped me be where I am today." he said with a smile, it was a long road to where he was, but it was certainly well worth it. After all, he was going to be showing off his designs in a touring fashion show! That makes the long road even more worth it.

Following along the prancing pony, GG couldn't help but giggle at him, hopping to and fro, talking about plants that the fashion savvy stallion hadn't even heard of, let alone seen; but he politely nodded, listening to him, honestly trying to commit some of it to memory. If Bramble could listen to Glitzen ramble on about fabric and manestyles, he could listen to him ramble on about plants. As they stopped at a tree with a royal coloured fruit; listening to Bramble's description of it, Glitz made a mental note to avoid that like the PLAGUE, he already obsessed over his work, no telling what it could do after the fact, "Oh wherever you'd like Bramble. I couldn't tell lilacs from lilies." he said exaggerating a bit, but it was true, he didn't really know what made one plant different from another other than their smell.

  13. Dark cackled faux-maniacally at his victory, smiling and returning the soft loving nuzzle that Cat gave as they hugged close, "Ahahhahah! Victory is mine, as usual." the colt said with a grin. While he was cocky, he was only teasing this time. Though still in his mind, he always won, and right now, he felt like he won the world. Sitting back up, Dark didn't release the hug, it was too good to let get away, just like the one who was giving it, "Well...Friends turn their back on you, and are never real. You're not like that, right? So I can't really use that word for you...But...since I know you won't do that, I guess you could say you're my friend too...Argh this is all so confusing." rubbing his head Dark sighed, it was like trying to break through a brick wall, his ways of thinking were so set in stone, "But I'll try to be the best for you too. And just think! When I take over, you'll get to be my queen! How fortuitous!" he said with a wide smile, it would be SO much easier to rule with someone, rather than just alone, and he was sure Cat could be evil if she really tried. They would rule the land like no others before them! Evil Overlord and Evil Queen!

  14. Trying desperately to catch the flitting filly, Dark huffed, 'This was going to be tough...' he thought as he watched Cat practically dance through the air; she certainly was agile, he would give her that. But would she have the energy to keep it up. Jumping and grasping, just barely missing each time, the colt couldn't help but laugh, wondering if he could ever catch her; but sure enough, her energy began to die down, as she rested in the air right out of Dark's grasp...Or so she thought. Thinking quickly, Dark used the nearby tree to get some height by running up its side and kicking off towards Cat in a play to hug tackle the filly to the ground. Luckily, even if it didn't work, the field would surely make a soft landing. Nothing ventured nothing gained!

  15. Dark caught the last of the carrots in the bucket rather easily; a sigh of relief escaping him as he heard they finally had enough of the veggies. Soon enough he could get a good meal and make a quick escape, he was rather surprised though, everything seemed to be going on without much of a hitch so far! Maybe today wouldn't be so bad after all, sure the was the set back of being unable to take the school books, and the interruption of his evil deeds for the day, but free food! Who in their right mind would pass up a free meal? Especially when he rarely ate anything aside from apples. As he followed Carrot back to the house, only partly listening to him talk about his days in the REA since they didn't seem to involve any secrets, which wasn't a big surprise, Dark pondered on what Purple was going to fix for dinner, maybe some kind of casserole? A sort of stew or soup?

Dark's hungry pondering was whisked away as Carrot brought up the muck on his hooves and his face. Wait...his face? Reaching up with the joint of a hoof, Dark rubbed his face a bit and looked, "Oh horseapples..." the colt said under his breath, looking at the smear of dye he rubbed from his snout and cursing his luck. What could he do? If he ran away with some excuse, it'd be really suspicious and he'd miss out on food! But if he stayed, his identity would be revealed, the horrid white and blonde he had been cursed with would shine though, how awfully unevil! But a free meal! That was too good to pass up, "A...argh alright!" quickly grabbing the hose, Dark reached over and turned the water on faster and aimed it at himself, "GAH COLD COLD!" he shouted, not expecting it to be THAT cold for such a warm day! After a short amount of time, the colt turned the water off and stood in a puddle of murky black and red dye along with the mud he rinsed off, shivering, "Like...ice water..." now soaking wet, Dark shook his pelt and mane dry, which were pale white and golden blonde, such an embarrassment to villains everywhere.

  16. Dark squeaked in surprise as Cat suddenly tackled him, pinning him to the ground with surprising strength; not saying Dark was strong by any means, swift and somewhat agile, but strength was not the colt's strong suit. Deciding to play along with his new fillyfriend, Dark put forth a faux struggle, knowing he could more than likely escape her clutches, should he want to, "Curses! Now who has whom huh? Sneaky filly. I'll have to keep an eye on you, Discord knows what trouble you'll get me into~" he said teasingly sticking out his tongue, just as she brushed her nose against, causing the colt to blush a bright red. Just he was about to respond, the filly placed a kiss on his lips, causing him to entirely lose his train of thought, making him a stammering mess for a few moments once more.

Regaining his senses as Cat got off him, hopping up into the air after giving a cocky silly smirk, Dark hopped to his hooves and chuckled, "Oh, is that a challenge missy?" he said eyeing the hovering pegasus. He knew she could be rather speedy, quickly, Dark attempted to jump up, grabbing at Cat's back hoof in an attempt to pull her back down.

  17. As the two continued on through the carrots, Dark did indeed keep a decent pace as Carrot tossed the veggies over his shoulder; though Dark's attention span was wavering, and on occasion he'd almost miss catching a carrot or two, but over all did decently well. He silently wondered to himself if he'd be able to sneak back at night, nab a few carrots for himself; carrots weren't his favourite, but they would break the monotony of food he was used to at his lair.

"Oh, I guess you could say I'm interested in a diplomacy of sorts, yes." the colt replied, domination and villainy could be considered a type of diplomacy, he supposed; though not the kind the questioning stallion had in mind, he was sure, "Maybe. But over the time of reading some of these books, they do allude to some ponies conquering villages and tribes. It's all fascinating really hehehehe. But yes, interesting indeed." a glint came to Dark's eye when he spoke of conquered villages, one would either assume he was just an excitable colt, or very strange; which both would be very correct. "The REA hmm?" Dark said raising a brow, 'I wonder if he knows any weaknesses they might have! Oooh that could be so helpful!' the mastermind thought to himself, "So what was that like? Anything of interest happen or was it just boring?" Dark slightly doubted he could get any useful information out of Carrot, but it never hurt to try.

"Huh?" Dark looked as his hooves, they did seem to be a bit muddy, maybe he could just knock the mud off on the way back to the house, he didn't bring any spare dye, and he couldn't just wash it away like that, "Oh, I'm sure I'll be able to knock off the mud on the walk back. No worries at all."

  18. Dark's attention wasn't taken from Cat either, while he wasn't used to the emotions he was feeling, he did know that they were very distracting. Which wasn't so bad really. But the only problem Dark found was...what was he supposed to do, now that he and Cat were dating? Was there some set of rules he was supposed to follow? A code? Did he have to say certain things a certain way at certain times? Deciding it was too confusing to think about right now, Dark pushed that to the back of mind, deciding to focus on the now. Glancing over slightly, Dark too spotted Rose absconding from the scene; he was thankful for that. "Friends? I never had use for them. Friends are friends to your face and nothing but trouble behind your back. The one 'friend' I had turned out to...Well that's not important right now. You on the other hoof, you're the exception that proves the rule. But then again, you're not a friend, you're something else." he said with a smile. The dark dyed colt sure was an odd one, but he did seem to mean what he said.

Dark's composure wasn't held very long as Cat brushed her wing against his side, "HRK! Pffthaha, hehe-hey q-quit that! No fair! Foul play!" he said flailing lightly, tickling, his one...or well...in his mind his one weakness; but of course the colt had many weaknesses, though he would never admit it, even if faced with said weakness! Attempting to 'escape', Dark tried to curl up under his cape as a form of defense, "Ahahah! Can't get me now can you?" he said jokingly.

Character Summary: Many years ago, in the hot desert town of Bareback Gulch, Cydonia was born. Prior to her birth, Cydonia's mother, a griffon by the name of Alaston Whitequill resided further north, in the industrial hot spot called Beakbreak City. A dark and smoke covered city, filled with traders and airships, but the even darker side of the city held worse, smugglers, thiefs and swindlers. This was her mothers home though. One night, after walking home from her job at the ship-breaking yard, Alaston was attacked out of nowhere by a group of muggers, after whatever money she may have had on her. Thankfully for Alaston, a stallion nearby overheard the ruckus, and rushed to her aid. After the ordeal was over the stallion checked on her, introducing himself and making sure she was well. The pony's name was Gold Rush, the owner of a small bar, just around the corner. Helping the griffonness to her feet, Gold took her to his bar, which doubled as his abode. After this act of kindness, the two became fast friends, and inevitably much more. Before long, the two were happily wed, and not long after, they were with foal!

As much as Alaston rejoiced at this news, she couldn't help but to recall the attack, and others like it that happened to the citizens of that area of the city, and worry. And so, the lovers left behind their city, where they had met and fell in love, for the safety of Bareback Gulch, a small quiet mining town, where they could raise their coming child in peace.

Growing up in a small mining town, Cydonia had very few friends, partly because of the small amount of children in the town, but also partly because of her halfbreeding. Ponies often dislike things away from the norm, and that's just what little Cyd was. Despite this, she took it all in stride with her head held high. Her mother always taught her to treat other as she wished to be treated, and she did just that. Kind words in the face of hate and help in the face of hindrance. As she went through school, she, like many children, tried all she could to find her special talent, everything from dancing to singing and drink mixing to sewing. Nothing seemed to work for her and she had nearly given up. Until one particularly hot summer day, Cydonia met one of the towns eldest members. A stallion who had been around since well near the founding of the mines. The old pony sat on his porch, whittling away and carving the pieces of a small bird house. Surprised at how a older pony, whose hooves were so shaky, could carve such delicate designs into wood, Cydonia sat down under the shade of the porch and watched. For hours she watched the stallion chip away and carve ivy like designs into it, before finally nailing it together.

With a smile the old stallion greeted Cyd, apologizing for being so enthralled in his work that he forgot to say hello. Shaking her head excitedly, she dismissed this, telling the elder just how fascinating she found the process and much to the pony's surprise, asked if he could teach her how to do it. So before long, every afternoon, after school, Cydonia would arrive at the old stallion's home and practice. And practice. And practice. Having returned home after one of her lessons, her mother gasped in surprise and happiness; for in Cydonia's own work enthralled state, the young Hippogriff had failed to notice her new cutie mark, a maul and some ten bit nails, symbolizing her talent in carpentry.

Using her new found talent, Cydonia spent her evenings and mornings making toys and gewgaws for her classmates and teachers, giving them out as signs of friendship and goodwill, even to the ones who shunned and disliked her.

Though as she grew into adulthood, Cydonia soon learned that kindness and helpfullness and trinkets of wood wouldn't pay for things alone, and that the world turned to the sound of money. Having no interest in the mining business of the town, and lacking the skill of a bartender to help her father in his bar, the Hippogriff looked into alternate ways of income, before finally settling on a particular job of interest. Becoming a sellsword. Cydonia had became skilled in combat, having very little else to do and no interest in the girly things. A few years of this went by and Cydonia had grown used to the day in day out fighting, feeling like little more than a machine. That is until one fateful day, an expedition to the Everfree Forest with a shady group of characters. This of course, was not out of the norm. But the reason for the expedition was. The group consisted of nothing more than cutthroats and shysters, who in the night stole away with Cydonia's equipment, leaving her to fend alone in the Everfree.

After a couple days of wandering, Cydonia had nearly found her way out. The only thing that stood between her and a safe trip home was the one who had hired her for the job in the first place. It had seemed the large griffon had returned to make sure that there wouldn't BE an escape, after having learned of how resourceful she could be. Before long a fight ensued, Cyd tried her best to fight back, and held her own for the most part, until her attacker her slashed her across her left eye, temporarily blinding her and kicked her to the ground before drawing her own stolen sword on her. Scared for her life and in pain, Cyd got her footing once more, vowing that if she made it out of this alive, she was done with the life of a blade. Thinking quickly, Cyd glanced around, taking note of a large branch with a crack just above her enemy. Swiftly she flew up, kicking the branch, causing the heavy limb to land with a thud on the griffon. Without so much as a look back, Cydonia made her escape.

Not long later, Cydonia kept true to her promise. Her wound having healed, she bid her family goodbye, and moved on to a better city, Canterlot; where she used what money she had to set up shop. A small wood crafting and carpentry store by the name of Burin Woodworks, in honour of her old mentor. And to this day, Cydonia has kept true to her vow, having pushed past the old rebellious ways she learned to make money, and back to the cheerful wood crafter she was always meant to be.

Overall, Cydonia's personality is kindhearted, sweet, and patient. Never one to hold a grudge against someone, she'll always help those in need, should they need food or shelter for the night, or a repair to their roof. Although behind the kindness, the young Hippogriff has a different side, a lonesome and hurt side, because no matter how much you forgive the taunting, it still hurts in the end. Her self worth has taken massive blows over the years, causing her bouts with sorrow and self pity. Arguments and fights tend to bring out another side in her, one of quiet fury, for as much as she wants to forget her old ways, now and again she feels the urge to step in and fight, where she has none, often becoming quite defensive if the subject involves her in the least. Her work on the other hoof, quells this, the small detailed designs give her a calm output for her nervous or angry energy. When the rains come, there's nothing Cydonia loves more than sitting out on her porch with a nice warm cup of lemon tea, just like her mother used to make. Despite loathing the heat of the desert, Cydonia does often miss her family, and plans to at least visit now and again, when she has the time.

    Additional Status:

Poison Joke Reaction: Becomes jittery and impatient, causing her to be unable to work on delicate or intricate pieces.

  20. Dark looked down at the carrots he had pulled from the ground. Yup, they were carrots alright. But apparently not the 'right' carrots. So with a nod, Dark returned them back to their holes. So much for the task being simple, but still at least it was rather easy, "Alright, that sounds fine." levitating the bucket, Dark carefully followed along with the farmer pony as he tossed in carrots that, to Dark, looked basically the same as the ones he had just had to put back.

This was simple enough, albeit a bit boring, walk slowly behind Carrot and catch the stuff in the bucket. At the very least, the small talk made it more bearable, "Yeah. World domAH!" Dark was about to respond when he saw the orange vegetable projectiles plummet towards his face. Thinking fast, the villainous colt caught them, not in the bucket, but in a bubble of clear white magic, "Phew...that was close..." he said as he rubbed his brow, smearing a bit more of his already smudged dye before tossing the carrots into the bucket, "Ahem, as I was saying, right now I guess you could say I'm studying World History. Taking bits and pieces at a time you see, focusing on one subject at a time can make it a lot easier, so you can be ready for bigger things. Like how a conqueror could start in a small town, and then build up, before taking over everything."he explained, glad he was interrupted before saying something that would have gotten QUITE the odd look.

  21. Dark cleared his throat with a small cough, though no cough right now could clear his racing mind, he thought it'd calm by now. After all, he got the hardest part out of the way, with no consequences! With a bit of a chuckle the villain shrugged, "I heh...I don't really know. I mean, I shouldn't be scared of anything. I know of no villain who fears anything!" he replied. As Cat stared deeply into his eyes, he couldn't help but stare back, even as a crimson blush spread across his face. Grey. Most ponies would think it wasn't a very interesting colour, rather dull. But Dark on the other hoof found them deeply endearing, soothing pools of mercury tinted beauty. He could look at them all day he thought, if it wouldn't interfere with his eloquently elaborate epitome of evil escapades.

As his new found fillyfriend leaned herself on him, Dark squeaked lightly, and smiled, leaning back against her, "Maybe that's why...If it were anypony else, there would have no fear, because there'd be nothing to say. No words to find. No heartbeat running away. No butterflies in my stomach...No fun." he said, nuzzling the filly with a happy chuckle, "I...well of course it does! I mean...should anything change? I mean, we can hang out more if you want right. That's something! Maybe we can work on evil plans together."

  22. Dark nodded, he really dodged a bull this time, quietly he thanked Nightmare Moon, wherever she may be after her defeat, for that. Jumping slightly as Carrot wrapped a foreleg around him and pulled him close, all buddy buddy like, "Eep! Erhm..." he said, clearing his throat after the squeak that escaped him, "AHEM, right, eheh." rubbing his shoulder after the punch Dark made a mental note to never get into a game of 'Mercy' with the farming stallion, lest he end up with broken bones or something along those lines. Even that 'soft' of a punch left Dark's shoulder stinging, the colt hadn't even noticed that a portion of the dye from around his neck was smeared by the earlier grab.

"AH, uhm, yeah, of course, s'nothing to it right?" he said, putting on a confident smile as he popped his head into the workshop, glancing around for a moment before spotting a second bucket and levitating it to his side as he followed along behind Carrot. The fields were the carrots rested were expertly tilled and everything. Dark though couldn't tell the difference between a ripe carrot and one still growing, so he sat his own bucket down next to the farmer's and begin to pull some out and tossing them in, "Oh, I'm a vi....Well I guess you could say, uhm, a student? Of sorts." phew, that was close, he almost let that slip, "So I....take it that the farm's a nice source of income?" he said, making an attempt at small talk.

  23. Dark gulped and shook his head in fear, "N-no I didn't mean that, I'm sure she's nice! I mean, I just met her! I don't mind being her f...friend." he said before muttering under his breath, "Ugh that word..." it was probably the hardest word for the villain to say, next to 'Thank You', 'Love', 'Nice', 'Sorry', and any other goody two hooves words that a villain of his position should never even have to mutter! Let alone say, and MEAN!

Jumping lightly as Carrot patted him on the shoulder, Dark let out a sigh of relief, "Oh thank Discord..."

'That was a close one.' he thought to himself, 'But of course, another death defying event is nothing to me, oh Dark, how did you get SO good at being SOOOO bad?' the colt silently pondered for a moment, "Oh, right, right, dinner sounds right tasty right about now." he replied with a grin, at least he was able to shake off that fear of being mauled and turned into mulch for now. Just so long as nothing goes wrong, Dark was in the clear, smooth sailing and clear skies from here on out.

  24. Dark grumbled, doing his best to ignore the chiding and, in his opinion, stupid, remarks spouting from both Malediction and Rose, 'What do THEY know about being evil? Not a THING!' Dark thought to himself, 'Oh but they'll get theirs, yesssss, they'll get theirs all in due time! But for now I...' the thoughts in his head where cut short as his friend, or, now he guessed, fillyfriend, walked over and gently nuzzled him, melting away most of his angry thoughts, at least enough to where he could smile a little more.

"Well uhm..." he stammered in response as Cat walked over to her tree, with a gulp and a sigh, Dark followed her over, chuckling lightly at her silliness. A genuine laugh, not just a maniacal laugh in an attempt to induce fear, or a forced chuckle, but it seemed like he was actually, well, happy! With a smile, the colt plopped down next to Cat Napper and nodded, "Y-yeah, I suppose we do huh? Well....The reason I know you come here is, well, I've been watching for a while, just ahh....Never got up the courage to say anything." he replied, blushing brightly, doing his best to hide it.
