    Slash kept walking and singing, looking at the trees around him. He decided to climb a tree to get a view from high ground. As he climbed, he noticed that the branches made the forest thicker. Still singing, he began leaping from branch to branch. His ears twitched as he heard a rustle from behind. Slash didn't know if it came for the bushes or trees, but he kept his guard up just incase he was ambushed.

    "No. Over-confidence is what kills you on the battlefield. It would be wise not to underestimate the people around you" Professor Ozpin said, looking sternly at her over his small reading glasses. Slash was finally shot into the air. He laughed as he used explosive dust rounds to push himself forward, doing flips and twists from time to time. When he was low enough, he used the rope kunai from both gauntlets and shot them at trees that were facing each other. Using the momentum from his fall, the rope kunai helped him swing back up into the air. Slash kept doing that until there wasn't enough potential and kinetic energy left. He landed on the ground with both feet, not making a sound. Slash started walking, humming as he looked around. His humming slowly turned into mumbles and soon he was just singing. His singing made a small pack of beowolves notice him, but he didn't stop singing. Slash wondered why his ears didn't pick up the growling, but he didn't care. He continued singing as he punched a wolf, sending it crashing through a big tree. He used his rope kunai to swing at the rest of them, cutting off their heads and slicing them to pieces. Slash watched them fall before walking away, still singing with a smirk on his face.

    "Good now take your positions." He said as he turned to Andrea. "Mulligans?" Slash slid his right foot back and leaned forward so he was closer to the ground. He watched as the students on the left started being launched into the air.

    Ozpin sipped from his coffee as the last of the students arrived. "For years you have trained to become warriors. And today, your abilities will be evaluated in the Emerald Forest." Ozpin said. "Now, I'm sure many of you have heard rumors about the assignment of teams. Well, allow us o put an end to your confusion. Each of you will be given teammates...today" Goodwitch said as she tapped on big scroll. "These teammates will be with your for the rest of your time here at Beacon. So it is in your best interest to be paired with someone whom you can work well. That being said, the first person you make eye contact with after landing will be your partner for the next four years. After you've partnered up, make your way to the northern end of the forest. You will meet our position along the way. Do not hesitate to destroy everything in your path, or you will die. You will be monitored and graded for the duration of your initiation, but our instructors will not intervene. You will find an abandoned temple at the end of the path containing several relics. Each pair must choose one an return to the top of the cliff. You will guard that item as well as your standing and grade you appropriately. Are there any questions?" Slash smirked and looked at the forest. "Perfect for maneuvering" he thought.

    I'm lucky to have no bullying at my high school in Hong Kong. I see alot more now that I've moved to Canada.

    Well! For partners, the characters have to make eye contact after landing. In order for us to be a team, we need to pick the same relic.

    "Well, I know not everyone is going to like me. Look at what I am" he said, wiggling his cat ears. They arrive at the cliff and see Professor Ozpin, Professor Goodwitch, and other students who were standing on platforms. Slash stood on a platform and waited for the rest.

    Slash looked at Tehengu with wide eyes. "Y-you can read minds? Is that your semblance?" he asked.

    Slash stood next to Tehengu and started to walk to the cliff. Maybe she had a bad experience with people, maybe she doesn't like guys, or maybe..."she just hates me" Slash said, not realizing that he said it out loud.

    Slash lifted his hand from her shoulder and let it hang by his side. He wanted to say so many things, but he knew it would be wise to keep his mouth shut. He looked over his shoulder and saw Midnight and Tehengu, ready for the initiation. "Will all first year students please report to Beacon Cliff for initiation. Again, all first year students report to Beacon cliff immediately" Professor Goodwitch said through the intercom. "See you around" Slash said as he walked away from the girl and headed towards Tehengu. He figured that it was a bad idea to keep talking to the girl, but it still hurt him when she talked to him so coldly.

    Slash followed after, worried when she looked like she was about to collapse. He went to his locker and put his bag in, looking over at the girl to see if she's still awake. He put on Auralynx on his wrists and walked over to the girl, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Are you alright?" Slash asked. He had his usual unamused expression, but his eyes were filled with worry.

    Slash looked at the girls bed-head, smirking a little as it made her look less aggressive. "I'll wait for you to get ready, I'm going to go to the locker room to get my weapon" he said, interrupting her.

    Slash rubbed his leg where the girl kicked him. "How lady-like, I should have videoed that on my scroll" he chuckled as he watched other students get up. "Come on angel, our initiation starts today" he said as he slung his dufflebag over his shoulder.

    The sun started to peek over the horizon as Slash smiled, watching the sky brighten. Once the sun was over the mountains, Slash walked back and saw Tehengu, greeting him with a nod and a smile as he walked back into the ballroom. He went back to his sleeping bag and smiled at Andrea. "Good morning, angel" he whispered as he zipped up his duffle-bag.

    ---------------------------------------------------- Slash wakes up the next morning and sees that it's still dark. He slowly got up being careful not to wake anyone, put on his plaid shirt over his T-shirt, brushed his teeth, and walked out of the Ballroom and our to the courtyard. He looked up at the sky and noticed that it was still full of stars. He put his hands behind his head to support it as he looked up and smiled. He decided that he was going to watch the sunrise for the first time at Beacon.

    Slash smiled as he caught a glimpse of her blanket. "If you aren't going to tell me, I'll just keep calling you angel" Slash chuckled as he closed his eyes and fell asleep, breathing silently.
