Lightning looked toward Dusk and Dopple. [colour=#a52a2a]"O-Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you. I was just trying out a spell."[/colour][colour=#000000] He said.[/colour]

Lightning shifted his hooves to move the stars in different locations. Every star was placed where Lightning believed is the right place. As he finish placing the last star in his desired location, he gazed at all the shining orbs. The formation before him looked like the night sky, if a moon were added, it would be more magnificent.

As Lightning was reading through the book on the couch, he stopped on a particular spell that caught his eye. It was a spell for creating stars. Lightning had seen this spell before when he was younger and tried it out. It was successful on his first try. He got up off the couch and levitated the book to the table with his magic. Lightning decides to try that same spell again, so he sits on the floor, closes his eyes, and concentrated. His horn started to glow light-blue and soon, there were small sparkles around it. The sparkles fleed from the glow of his horn and into the air in front of him. Remaining stationary, they begin to grow. There size stopped to small balls of light as they shined in the room. There lights seemed to decorate the place and were very bright.

Lightning walked up to a book shelf and saw a book he wanted to study. He picked it out with his magic, the book surrounded by the same light-blue energy as his horn. He sat on the couch and opened it. [colour=#a52a2a]"Hmm, I wonder what kind of spells are in here?"[/colour] Lightning thought.

Lightning woke up in the bed Dusk had set for him. He asked his mother if he could stay the night and she said yes happily. She must think he's making good friends. He got up out of the bed and walked down the hall to the shelves of books. His walking can be heard by anypony awake.

Lightning looked at MorningDawn, then at Dusk as he got up and walked over to the changeling. [colour=#a52a2a]"I can tell you regret your previous actions, why don't we go inside and discuss it. If you don't want to, I understand." [/colour][colour=#000000]He said in a wise tone. This changeling may have taken someone important to Dusk, but[/colour] did he do it on his own free will?

Lightning looks to the changeling, but instead with anger his eyes were calm. Even after hearing of what happened at the wedding, he still feels for both sides. [colour=#a52a2a]"You could start over"[/colour][colour=#000000] He said to him.[/colour]

Lightning looked back at Dusk, sadness in his eyes from her loss. He walked up to her and hugged her for comfort. [colour=#a52a2a]"It's ok, you can cry as much as you want."[/colour][colour=#000000] He said in a soothing voice.[/colour]

Lightning looked to the changeling. [colour=#a52a2a]"I now you don't trust us, because of other ponies' hatred toward you from your race, but I'm willing to trust you, if you trust me."[/colour]

Despite the sudden snap, Lightning remained calm. [colour=#a52a2a]"I may not know, but I'm willing give him a chance." [/colour][colour=#000000]His tone was calm, but had a hint of stern to it.[/colour]

Lightning walked up to Dusk and put a hoof on her shoulder, comforting her. [colour=#a52a2a]"But that doesn't mean, their all bad, right? He might be distrusting of us, because of the hate towards him." [/colour][colour=#000000]Lightning's tone was beginning to sound wise[/colour]. [colour=#a52a2a]"Maybe if we get to know him, it wouldn't be so bad. I know what his kind has done is wrong, but he wasn't the one that done those things."[/colour]

Lightning walked up to MorningDawn hiding behind the changeling. [colour=#a52a2a]"MorningDawn, that wasn't very nice."[/colour][colour=#000000] He said. [/colour]He turmed around to Dusk. [colour=#a52a2a]"And it wouldn't hurt to hear his side of the story. He's not hurting anybody right now."[/colour]

Lightning looked at the changeling, confused. [colour=#a52a2a]"I don't think your a monster."[/colour][colour=#000000] He said.[/colour]

Lightning turned to Dusk and nodded. [colour=#a52a2a]"Ok, Dusk" [/colour][colour=#000000]He said.[/colour]

[colour=#a52a2a]"My name is Lightning Chaser, but I don't think that attack in Canterlot was right."[/colour][colour=#000000] Lightning said, introducing himself with his soft voice.[/colour]

Lightning looked up to the changeling with no fear, but curiosity about how he ended up here.

Lightning looked at MorningDawn and smiled. He put a hoof on his head. [colour=#a52a2a]"That's very nice, but maybe you should leave this to us, ok." [/colour]Lightning said, in a soft gentle voice with warmth that could be felt near him.

Lightning watches calmly, though still shy, at the changeling. He may not look it by he was ready to defend his these ponies.

Lightning stood behind Dusk and looked to MorningDawn. [colour=#a52a2a]"Hurry, get behind me" [/colour][colour=#000000]He said to the foal. He looked up to the changeling.[/colour][colour=#a52a2a] "What happened and how did you get her?[/colour][colour=#a52a2a]"[/colour][colour=#000000] Lightning asked.[/colour]

Lightning averted his gaze from the glare the changeling gave him. He looked to the ground nervously

Lightning looked at the pony which he recognized as a changeling. He'd read about changelings before, but never see one before. [colour=#000000]When he heard him spoke, he voice was snake-like. [/colour][colour=#a52a2a]"H-Hello"[/colour] Lightning said to get the changelings attention.

Lightning followed Morning Dawn to the crash site. He walked up next to him to see a pony laying there. [colour=#a52a2a]"Um, hello?" [/colour][colour=#000000]Lightning asked to the sleeping pony, hoping he'll wake up.[/colour]

Lightning heard a loud noise. Like a crash of some sort. [colour=#a52a2a]"U-Um, did you guys h-hear that?"[/colour] [colour=#000000]Lightning asked, wondering what has happened outside.[/colour]

Lightning looked at MorningDawn and waved at the little foal softly. [colour=#a52a2a]"H-Hello, m-my name's Lightning."[/colour]

Lightning nods at Dusk's motion and walks over to the couch. He sits next to the sleeping MorningDawn. [colour=#a52a2a]"S-So, what kind of books do you have?" [/colour][colour=#000000]He asked shyly to Dusk.[/colour]
