Backstory: Colette is a girl who's interested in playing video games and is especially proficient in the rhythm game genre, especially DanceDance Revolution, but will not say no to playing other types of games, old or new. She is also into anime and manga, and is starting to get into needlework, as she is looking forward to attending and cosolaying in a large convention in the summer. Colette works part time in a Hot Topic, a job she thought would be cool, but turned out to be boring. Nonetheless, it pays, and she could always use the money, which she is currently saving... Colette's parents are divorced, and she currently lives with her father, who is frequently away on business, which leaves her feeling lonely, but she rarely admits it, and refuses to live with her mother, as they do not get along very well, as her mother tends to nag often. Colette is the only child from her parents' marriage, but she has a young stepsister from her mother's second marriage, whom Colette also keeps in touch with. Because she is home alone often, Colette has become independent enough to take care of herself, but her parents call her often to check on her. Tips/Pointers: - You can have relationships if you want, but it's really beside the point in the RP. Don't be afraid to have them find things on their own, and attempt to use them. - Have your human character try to provide for the Pony they've found to the best of their ability. - Have the human character try and answer all the questions that they can. Pairings will be made once there are a sufficient number of humans and Ponies, and will be decided by drawing names. - Feel free to adjust your character/s accordingly if they don't quite make a good fit for the RP. Ponies: - Other than the Princess Twilight, and the Queen Chrysalis, no other Alicorns allowed, as they are not cannon. That, and they tend to be overpowered! - Although Princess Twilight is now an Alicorn, and thus indeed powerful, she will not be able to reverse the spell, as it was Chrysalis who has cast it. - As a human, your Pony will not have their wings or horn. In a last-ditch effort to feed the dwindling number of her subjects, Chrysalis goes for a smaller, less known target than the "illustrious" Canterlot -- Some out if the way town in the sticks called "Ponyville..." Having sent a few sentries ahead to survey the area, Chrysalis learns of the young Princess Twilight's residence in this town. But that wasn't all! All of Bearers of The Elements of Harmony were living in this two-bit town! No matter! Just trash a few homes, send the skittish ponies a-scattering, and all six of them will be right in front of her in no time! So Chrysalis sent her minions to do just that! All was going well! The locals screaming and running, the Elements were racing toward her, all too ready to give her quite the thrashing, she was all too sure! Like she was gonna let THAT happen! Just when they came into range, Queen Chrysalis unleashed quite the surprise... A portal that can send those pesky Elements far, far away! Where would they end up? Who knew, and quite frankly, who cared?? She unleashed the spell just as that one blue upstart raced ahead! Before she knew it, the spell was knocked off course, as that blasted blue Pegasus had hit her horn, sending a massive surge of black, green,and violet energy skyward, hovering not only over the Mane6, but over a few of her own subjects, as well as several bystanders not lucky enough to get out of the area in time... The next thing she knew, she felt a surge of pain as she was struck by her own spell, before everything went black... -- Everyday life is so full of wonder, is it not?? Studying for exams, bosses chewing you out for every little thing, the popular kids rolling their eyes at you for the nth time in the school hallway teachers getting on your case for whatever, wondering if you're going to have enough to pay rent with the next check… Just simply magical! It's just another end to another ordinary day for an ordinary human, from out of the blue, the sky goes from clear to pitch black. Flashes of green and violet lighting strike from all around said human, leaving them a little scared and confused. Just as soon as it began, the sky returns to normal, the lighting no longer threatening to strike. But all is not normal… There in front of them lies someone unconscious. How they got there is a mystery, and even more puzzling is why they were dressed thread they were! After a short while, they come to, but that's when things get even weirder! Maybe they were struck by the lighting? But somehow, despite their unbelievable tall tales, something keeps telling the human that they're telling the truth... Taking them in would be best for the moment, and looking around the 'net to see if anyone else ran into the same kind of Moreover, something's telling you that they're not lying, in spite of their tall tales. Add to that, they are able to do things no human can do! -- These humans... They may not have magic, but the things they do have-- Television, phones, computers that connect to something called the internet, which they use to communicate with each other!
