    (ok Doublepost.) Lightning dust climbed into the seat. she sat down. "Maximum power just like last time!" He hollered. The machine started to spin. she spun faster and faster. The machine hit max speed. "Release!" Spitfire yelled. Lighting dust was thrown and easily regained her balance, Dropped down and landed perfectly. "Piece of cake." she said with a sly grin.

    Flashbomb shivered evermore as a large gust hits him. He was chilled to the bone. "Dumb cold." He scolded under his breath. He looked at the dizzytron and felt intimidated. A instrctor who operated the machine walked up and down the line. "I am your instructor for the dizzitron test today. You will all partake in this test. you will be sitting in the seat in the dizzytron and it will spin hard you will hold on until you are released!" He looked at all of the recruits. And smiled. Now "Spitfire has given you an order. Lighting dust will go first."

    Flashbomb Threw the last of his food away and began to trot back but All recruits were called to head out to the runway. He sighed he didnt want to go uout in the cold. He trotted out of the messhall and to the exit. When the doors opened a freezing gust if wind hit them all. He shivered "By celestia's beard." He said. He and the other recruits went out to the runway. He shivered trying to keep his wings in close.

    Flashbomb jumped when He heard Angel. He replied to him "Oh we're just making conversation until something else happens." He joked. "Just enjoying this wonderfull day. He smiled at Angel. "Do you want a snack ? i Seem to be the only one eating." he offered Angel.

    Flashbomb looked up and saw Angel had came to them. "Morning... Im doing fine.." He was still thinking of the snow. "Did you sleep well?" He asked him.

    Flashbomb agreed with marble. "And not only are we going to have to fly in the snow were doing the dizzitron as well. " He rolled his eyes.

    Flash bomb ate his food with disaste. He looked u and smiled at sunray "I could be better." he joked. He took another bite of his food. He pushed it away, he couldnt eat another bite. He sat up and tried not to slouch. He yawned and flapped his wings. He looked at them and frowned. "Its been forever since i preened these things." He said he enjoyed his wings better when they were fine tuned. He looked at his friends and smiled. He enjoyed having so many friends at the academy. He glanced at the window again. "I am gonna be dragging today. My wings ge all frozen with ice hanging off of them and all." He tried to smile but the Thought frozen wings made hi shiver. Lightning dust had aken her food and sat down at a table to consume her meal She watched te Group of ponies whom were conversing together.

    "Like a boulder." He chuckled. He looked out the window and shivered at the thought of the cold weather. "Looks like we are going to be flying in the snow." He added. "I hate snow...." he grumbled. but he lightened the mood with a smile. Lightning dust walked into the mess hall, she had snuck out last night to think for awhile, she had not been caught and she was greatfull of that. She looked over and saw that Flashbomb was talking to a new mare she hadnot seen before. She continued down the line. Derpy had made it to ponyville. He delivered letters from the recruits left and right. She then delivered the last letter to Applejack. She tossed the letter fom flashbomb into the mailbox and patted the side of it with a smile. she flew off.

    Flashbomb smiled at quilheart. "that was a good catch." He said to him. He adjusted his headphones around his neck and realized he stil had music playing. He turned it off and placed his headphones and musc player back in his sadlebag. No one else seemed to awnswer him when he asked them earlier if they wanted any of the snacks he brought. but he shrugged it off and took out a Barley bar. He ate it slowly as he listened to the rest of everyones conversations.

    Flashbomb awoke with a jump when spitfire kicked in the door. He fell of his bunk and landed with a hard thud on the floor. Every cadet Had jumped like him but not as bad. He got up and shook his head to clear the stars. He heard her yell the dizzitron and team assignments. She left the barracks. Flashbomb liked her enthusiasum until he looked outside. The window had ice on it. He trotted over and opened it. A gust of snow hit him. "What in the name of celestia!?" He yelped. He closed the window. A blizzard had comethrough and covered everything. Out of all of the precipitation that he had to work with, snow was his least favorite. He grumbled and put on his uniform. "Its going to be a long day." He trotted out of the Barracks and went to the mess hall. He got in line, Recieved his breakfast and then found lyria sitting alone. He trotted over and put his tray on the table. "Good morning Lyria." He greeted with a smile. "Did you sleep well?" He asked her.

    Flashbomb noticed he was the last one in the messhall all other ponies had gone ot the barracks. He downed the last morstle and plced his plate on the counter. He trotted slowly to the barracks. It was night time and he noticed it was late. A guard walked down the hall and yelled at him to return to the barracks. He saluted he rolled his eyes. He trotted slowly to the Stallion barracks and opened the door. Everypony was Asleep. He snook in and slipped off his uniform. He went to the showers and washed himself. He stepped out of the shower and dried himself off. He trotted to his and marble's bunkbed. He glanced over and saw that Flashray was asleep. Flashbomb flew up to his bed and crawled under the covers. They were cool, He shivered a bit as he snuggled under the blankets. He stared up at the cealing as he listened to the constant breathing of his fellow cadets. He laid there and thought about the day. He began to slip into sleep His eyes grew heavy ad he fell into a deep slumber.

    (Back at the mailbox in The academy) Derpy had walked into the large building she looked to the messhall. She heard all of the ponies conversing with each other. she trotted to the Drop box and opened it. He took all of the letters that the cadets had written. One was adressed to Applejack from A Flashbomb. She closed the drop box and placed the letters in her saddlebag. She trotted down the hall. She looked to her left and saw a White stallon with a red and black mane. He glanced at her and smiled. She smiled with her happy go lucky look and waved back. She trotted outside and flew off to deliver the Letters.

    "Oh she does?" He ate a couple more bites of food. "You enjoying the Academy at all?" He took a drink from his glass. and put it down.

    Flashbomb looked up at lyria. " Im sure everyone else has asked you this but where are you from?" He noticed he talked with his mouth full. He appologised and swallowed his food.

    Flashbomb smiled as he sat down. lyria remnded him of Fluttershy. He ate his meal and listened to everyone converse.

    Flashbomb looked as more ponies joined them. He looked around and listened to their conversations. He stayed quiet and allowed everyone to coverse. He then remembered his tea. He excused himself from the group. He poured himself a cup of tea. He sipped it and found it was still warm he grabbed his saddlebag with the snacks he brought them over. "there was no way i could finish these on my own anyway" He thought to himself. "Do you guys want some snacks or care for tea?" He felt cheesy asking this but he felt like sharing.

    (sorry had to do something) Flashbomb walked through the line and got his plate of food. He sat down with the others. "Sorry i was at the back of the line." He smiled at the others and ate his food. "Tasteless as usual." He glanced up and tried to locate Lyria he scanned the crowd. He spotted her at a table with Angel Snapp. He looked at his friends and stood up." Im going to go talk to them. excuse me." He took his food and lew over. "Hopefully she doesnt get freaked out about how i look with all the scars." He felt the large one over his right eye. He reached the table and smiled. "could i sit here?" He asked.

    Flashbomb Watched as she left. "She is a shy one" He quoted to His friends. He realized that he hadnt introduced himself to her. He shook his head. and headed for the mess hall.

    Lightning dust saluted to angel and thanked him She walked out of the stallion barracks and trotted to the mar barracks. Flashbomb smiled at angel and thanked him as well He asked him and marble and sunray if they wanted to head to the mess hall. They wandered out into the hall. They reached the Main hal an saw a Group of ponies whom were talking to each other. There was a Mare that he hadnt seen before who was trying to talk to them. They all looked at her and trotted away. Flashbomb trotted over to her. "Well that was rude of them." He opened up a conversation. "Are you new here at the Accademy?" He tried to be friendly to her.

    Lightning dust walked in with sunray. All the stallions stared at them. The tension was high in the barracks. "um......Flashbomb was it?" She looked at him. He was pretty indmitating she has to admit, With his scars and the large one over his right eye. "I uh...." She tried to form the words wihtout looking like she was begging for forgiveness. "Im sorry.... I ... I just wanted to win so bad. And i was in the heat of the moment. If you hadn't stopped me." She was interrupted by Flashbomb. Flashbomb interuppted Lightning dust. "I was just as much at fault. I overeacted and i should have ontinued the game. i saw Angel was getting hurt, but its a Rough game." Lighting dust kicked in "But i was so angry at you and him i wouldve hurt him!" She replied. Flashbomb held his hoof up. " Im sorry." He simply said." Lightning dust nodded "im sorry too. Truths?" "Truths." Flashbomb agreed. He shook her hoof as they made amends.

    Flashbomb smiled with ammusement. He enjoyed Quillheart and his Adventurous Nature. He glanced over to Applejack and wondered if she and Him had met before. "Applejack have you met quillheart?. I met him in canterlot." He made introductions.

    Flashbomb nodded to his friend. "Your art is Excellent. Im sure she will love it" He nudged his friend to give him cofidence. "If i had the bits i would buy a sculpture from you." He looked over at the door he heard Hoofsteps outside. Lighting dust giggled at Sunray's joke. " I tend to get in trouble here and there." She walked up to the Stallion barracks to Appllogise to Flashbomb. Before she opened the door she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She swallowed her pride and Opened the door.

    "Rainbow dash is ok i guess. Her and i dont see Eye To Eye with eachother because we are bothe kinda stubbern that way. We are friends kinda and since she is older than me i listen to her since she has more input on things." He looked at the sketchpad."Your a good artist." He complimented Marble.
