Twilight Sparkle is in Ponyville learning about friendship. Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle, and Scootaloo are very good friends, so Twilight is simply studying them XD. Rarity and Applejack are relations, so what is with the random RD?

Maybe she is Scoot's mentor on everything cool.

"But I thooought you wanted whining!" LOL, she really did have those guys going the entire time. This episode, although not great, was pretty good and it made me like Rarity a little bit more now than before.

Suited for Success is still my favorite Rarity episode, but this was fine, plus Spike asking Twilight if he could have that one moment was priceless, lol.

Okayyy just finished it. I began to enjoy it more the longer it ran, actually. Did anyone else notice that after they got the award, Applejack and Rarity showed up....and Rainbow Dash?

I know that she's been confirmed to not be related to Scootaloo but...she showed up with the other two. A bit wierd?

She is there to support her friends who are they to support their siblings; not much odder than Twilight being there.

Species: Earth Pony

Pelt Color: Grey

Mane/Tail Color & Style: Curly and red

Cutie Mark: A cluster of orange and green stars in the constellation of a carrot.

Physique: Strong farm pony, of average size for young stallion, slightly skinnier than normal.

Residence: A small carrot farm outside of Ponyville to the southwest (but born in Fet Loch)

Occupation: Carrot Farmer, Amateur Stargazer

Motivation: On the surface, his cutie mark represents both his family's carrot heritage, his job, and his love of the night sky. It also, though, represents his ability to pull patterns from events around him (make a constellation out of stars). So the carrot shape of the mark isn't so much a passion about carrot farming as it is about family.

Likes: Astronomy; history; strong fillies; enjoys being outdoors, especially at night.

Dislikes: Being ignored, left out of stuff, or alone. Ironically he is fearful of giving any sort of speech or being a salesman (sadly required when selling carrots). Wine, fancy wares and cloths as he *likes* being a simple pony.

Character Summary: Th' carrot folk has a huir ay a long family history ay farmin'. We've al'ays had a way wi' the land, an' we made th' land ay Fet Loch our own. Ah kent half th' stars personally, an' th' moon al'ays seemed mah friend.

Oi'd ne'er bin good wi' fillies, but th' Mare in th' Moon, she understood what it was tae be lonely. She hud al'ays bin there tae listen when Ah confided mah problems, she ne'er judged me, nae loik th' the others at school. An' her elegant profile... ah, sae bonnie.

But at th' 1000th Summer Sun Celebration, she left, disappeared frae th' moon. Her profile was nae there nae more. Oi heard th' news, bout Princess Luna - but was th' Mare in th' Moon was moi sweet. Princess Luna dinnae e'en know who Oi am.

When Rainbowdash finally pulls off the Sonic Rainboom to save Rarity and the Wonder Bolts-- all of my crey.

I cried a little with tears of joy. I'm such a baby, but I absolutely love things like this and this show really knows how to get to me.

All I could think at the time was "This is her Big Damn Hero moment", and it was 20% cooler than I hoped for.

And they have had a child named Dinky Hooves!

Wouldn't one of them have to be a unicorn though? Yet again, Derpy could be a single parent with a unicorn foal who then met Dr. Hooves in recent times. That is the great thing about her, you can pretty much go anywhere storywise.

The whole Derpy as Doctor Hooves companion in space and time idea is pretty popular though. Okay now I have an art idea!

Dang, that must have taken a while with the backdrop and all and you definitely got the feel of Equestria in the design! Looks great to me, but what I really like is all the effort put into the scenery.

On the upper shelf is my custom pony, a gen 3 Sunny Daze, the FiM boxset with Celestia, Pinkie, AJ, Twilight and Spike, then theres Pinkie Pie and Sweetie Belle from the Sweets Boutique set, along with Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash from the stand alone packs.

Maybe the reason behind why they retconned Whooves into a Pegasus was so that he could be her Dad, and her super secret pony Cutie Mark power-to-be-revealed is going to be the ability to scoot so fast, she can warp the space-time continuum! =O

What if Derpy was her mom as well... That alone will warp Space and time.

Only thing I know is that Dash isn't related to her; I was told in the old shows she was related to Cheerlie but that doesn't make sense for FiM. Most likely though she probably has Pegasus parents that we just haven't seen yet.

I still think Fluttershy was adopted by earth ponies though!

I'm not sure who drew it, maybe jack? But it's really fun. One of my favorite fan arts so far.

Cause the only Unisus' out there seem to be royalty, so maybe they have a special set of genes?

That was my thought to, that it be a "flip of the genetic coin" kinda deal. Perhaps before birth there is some metaphysical predetermination or knowledge what their specialty will be helps determines their type. Yet again it may be completely random. Another possibly the foal of a mixed union may much likely be what her mother was (or vise versa). I wonder if anyone asked the WoG (i.e. Faust) this question?

This drove me to check out the first episode, and then I was hooked. Hooked so much that my fursonna became a MLP.

I had been into them slightly before, having played 'Pony Wars' with my sisters when visiting them in Australia. (we used the same rules we had for LegoWars, a simple paper/rock/scissors system)

But I have to admit, I like the FIM better.

Nope, it is the Internet after all. With DA being so large, it has attracted its fair share of art trolls and the "I hate anything popular" crowd. Combine that with anonymity and I am surprise she doesn't get more crap from folks (maybe her great replies keeps them away).

I've watched about 5 minutes of this and i'll edit this later when I can watch the rest, but so far, I wish they'd go back to episodes about the main 6. I'm tired of the CMC. Maybe they could have little appearences if they go back to normal episodes instead?

Good news is the next several are going to be around the main six again; I believe today's is going to be a Rarity episode.

Of the main six, Twilight is my least fav. Other characters, the CMC. I find them more annoying than I do cute.

They are slightly annoying to me as the CMC, even then I still find them rather endearing. I enjoy each of them far more as individual characters, especially Applebloom, although in that latest episode I did grow to like Scootaloo a bit more than before.

Also they used the "my little ponies" pun/gag too many times for one episode.

Agreed, and it felt rather forced; I hope that was just the writer doing that for that one episode.

I like the idea of having a single official latest episode discussion thread with embedded links, if only to make it easier for everyone to chat about it. Only suggestion I have is perhaps "sticky" the new episode thread in a prominent location each tome one comes out, so everyone can easily know when one is started and can participate. I don't know if the forum you all are using has that feature or not.

YOU KNOW WHO SHE IS?!

Not on a personal level, what I do know is she goes by Kiira, and at first she has stated she didn't care about the fandom since she is not active in the community at all, just wanted to do show for the money; at least that was her response in her Youtube channel (which is now closed). Although she stated on her own sitehttp://kiiracommissions.webs.com/aboutme.htm that claims she is one (a furry). So at this point who knows, all I know is that she doesn't involve herself with the fandom at large.

My Strange Addiction was looking for someone who likes fursuits for a while, no surprise they got someone sooner or later, in the long run it doesn't mean much, I hope fandom people aren't mad about it because it isn't that big of a deal.

If this board is full of furries, I've got to say I rather enjoy the company of furries.

I am not sure if this board is full of us, but seems like a decent amount. Personally I just like to show were are not all weird, annoying nutjobs, but just like any other fandom, its the really bizarre folks who stand out the most even though they are the minority.

Besides most of us here are likely in multiple fandoms to some degree and don't view themselves as purely a "furry", or purely an anime fan, or even a bronie. Myself, I am involved more in the general Science Fiction fandom than any of the others.

Sharing this picture, I would say it is pretty FiM related and certainly would make bronies feel a bit better about liking the show so much.

Godamnit. I hate it when non-furs twist stuff like that. Makes a bad name for the rest of the fandom.

She is a local to my general area; the ironic part is that she doesn't participate in the fandom at all, doesn't do conventions, or associate with the locals, etc. She just likes to dress up in that fursuit, and well get the $$$ for dong so for TLC.

I thought of a character I do hate as a bg pony. Trixie. I hate trixie so much. Specially when I saw "trixie fans" I just grit my teeth, just ahhhg what an annoying character I hope she never comes back. >:C NOTHING REDEEMABLE ABOUT HER.

Trixi seems incredibly popular considering the amount of stories and art I see created around her. I dunno, she was a horrible, shallow pony in the episode, but you wonder if there is something that caused her to be that way as a reaction and that her story isn't completely told.

I used to easily say Rarity but after Suited For Success she really grew on me as a character and I started liking her far more because she no longer appeared shallow at all. Now I am not sure, maybe Pinky Pie because I am not sure where you can go with her beyond her spontaneous weirdness. That being said I do like Pinky Pie a lot, it is if I had to choose...

I know a few folks say Fluttershy, but to be she is just so utterly adorable I cannot help but think good things about her.
