      Waagh! I think you might have confused yourself with Inuit....They live in igloos..Nobody else does. A blizzard would not even concern a proper Canadian. They would simply look at the storms and hold their mighty chests as they let out a thunderous guffaw and head off for a day of Hockeying or Lumberjacking.
