Dawn turned as another pony's presence was felt. "Hello?" She whispered, looking for the pony, illuminating the forest. The stars started to glow as her horn did.

Lyria woke up finally, and looked at the bottom of the bunk above her. She sat there, looking into blank space, for what seemed like forever.

Lyria kept waking up, and tossing and turning. Her dreams were nothing but memories, and they just kept coming, like a endless pitcher full of water. She kept remembering her parents when they were together for the last few days of her fathers life, and when he was laid to rest in the ground. All she could dream of was her parents, the ponies that now lived in the clouds above Equestria, above Cloudsdale.

"O-Okay Angel.." She whispered. She stayed under covers, but fell asleep quickly.

"Thanks A-Angel." Lyria sobbed, and peeked out of her blanket. "I mean it. Y-Your the only pony I trust completely here." She sniffled.

Lyria lied there, sobbing quietly. The memory of the letter she got from Dawn haunted her mind. She continued to stay under her covers, sobbing silently.

Lyria went into silence when Lightning Dust hugged her. She eavesdropped on my conversations? Lyria didn't move, and stood still. She heard Flashbomb enter the room through the crying of Lightning Dust. After Lyria had forgotten all about her parents both being dead, the wave of sadness returned. Lyria barley managed to get this sentence out. "Thanks for the forgiveness." Lyria pushed Lightning Dust away at that point, and ran out of the mess hall, sobbing. She ran into the mare barracks, jumped onto her bed, and hid under the covers.

"W-Well if you need help, you know where to find me." Lyria smiled at him, put her tray away, and turned as Lightning Dust called her name. "Y-Yes?" She whispered.

Lyria woke up from her little trance she just fell in, and she shook her head violently. "Umm.. I'm going to try to get some rest.." She said. "If.. uh.. that's okay with you..."

Lyria smiled at Lightning Dust, trying to be friendly. "How are you?" She was trying to keep her mum off her mind. Her eyes would tear up every now and again, but she wiped them away quickly. Her mother was gone, and Lyria had a emptyness in her heart. She had so much emptyness in her heart... She might as well not have one. Her mother was gone, taking one piece of heart. Her father was gone, taking another piece of her heart. Dawn was really the only pony keeping it together, and she was adding other ponies that was holding her heart together. All of her friends sitting at that table, and the others that weren't. But there was something, something Dawn would not know, even though they were best friends. She was falling for a pony at the academy, and she wasn't going to tell anypony. And she meant nopony would know.

Lyria looked at Marble, and noticed a little tension. "D-Did I do something wrong?" Lyria whimpered, and looked at Lightning Dust. Lyria sighed. "I-I'm sorry if I-I did something wrong Marble..."

Lyria noticed Lightning Dust over at another table, alone. She knew waht it felt like to eat alone, so Lyria called out, "Lightning Dust? C-Care to come sit with us?" She asked, hiding a little behind her mane.

(Also, my profile pic is Lyria guys) Lyria smiled at Angel. "I would'nt be able to get through this without you." She said, and took another bite of her food, and took a drink as well. "I got the news right when I had sent her a letter..." She sighed.

Lyria looked at Angel, and said, "Thank for helping me so much Angel." She hugged him again. Once she let go, she sniffled again, and took another bite of her food.

Dawn noticed a pony below her, and landed. The amulet glowed, and she looked at the pony. "What are you doing in the Everfree Forest around midnight?" She asked.

Lyria finally gained the courage to say someting to Flashbomb before he headed to the barracks. "T-Thank you..." She whispered, and turned back to her food. She took another bite, and looked at her friends.

Lyria remained silent, and sniffled a little bit. Her tail flicked a little. She took a bite of her food, and continued to stay silent.

Lyria walked into the mess hall, grabbed some food, and sat with the other ponies, but didn't say hi. She just sat there, silent.

"O-Okay.." She sniffled, and started to trot towards mess hall with Angel.

She continued to cry, but let go of him. "S-Sorry for h-hugging you like that..." Lyria whispered. She sniffled, and looked at him. "I just got the letter from D-Dawn..."

Lyria heard Angel, and ran outside to him, and hugged him tightly, sobbing. "My mum died! She just died!" She sobbed, hugging him tightly.

Lyria turned, and galloped into the mare barracks, and landed on my bed. I cried into my pillow. Nopony left in my life... She whispered. Except for Angel, and Dawn now... She cried

Lyria picked up the letter. It read: [colour=#40e0d0]Dear Lyria,[/colour] [colour=#40e0d0]It's me, Dawn. I'm sorry. Terribly sorry for you to be hearing this tragic news from me.[/colour] [colour=#40e0d0]Your mother, Fluttershy... [/colour][colour=#000000]Lyria saw a teardrop right there on the page.[/colour] [colour=#40e0d0]Has passed away today from depression. [/colour] [colour=#40e0d0]I'm so sorry Lyria.. Just know, I'm always here for you.[/colour] [colour=#40e0d0]Always.[/colour] [colour=#40e0d0]I love you as a friend Lyria.[/colour] [colour=#40e0d0]~Dawn[/colour] [colour=#000000]Lyria stared blankly at the page. Now her mother? The tears returned once more, and she fell on her bed crying. [/colour] [colour=#000000]Maybe Angel will help me.[/colour] [colour=#000000]Lyria walked out of the barracks, and walked toward the staff barracks. The guards looked at her m[/colour]enacingly. "Umm.. Angel said I could come and see him..." She whispered. "If I needed too..." She squeaked, and hid behind her mane. They looked at her unsure, and she whimpered. "Oh.. Well.. Umm... I'll just go.." She whispered, and slowly inched away, not taking her eyes off the guards.

Lyria started to write. Dear mum, How are you? I know I haven't written to you for a while, and I'm sorry. I know I'm really the only pony left for you to talk to... You know, I'm pretty sure Luna would be happy to come and stay with you. Have you tried asking her? Well, I love you mommy. See you soon. Love, Lyria. Lyria put the letter into the box to send, and a pony took away the box. Lyria sadly sighed, when a letter magically appeared in her hooves.

"Night Angel." She smiled. I should write my mother... Lyria thought. "I'm going to get some R&R as well Marble." She smiled, and grabbed a piece of paper. She started to write to her mother.
