  1. ((I meant house, sorry.)) Compass sighed, she let the key go, letting it slam full force into the door without her to stop it. "Have a weirder day. You can have the blasted thing." The unicorn turned from the house, not bothering to see what damage the key did. It wanted something in the house, it could have it. She had a store to run, the unicorn even hummed as she trotted merrily back towards town, happy to be rid of the key. "Maybe now the dreams will stop."
  2. Compass Rose almost whimpered but shook her head instead. She looked around to make sure no one else had responded to the commotion, oddly they hadn't. Taking a few calming breaths she finally spoke to what she assumed was a normal pony inside the apartment. "I want to know what this thing is after, that's all. And for you to stop treating me like a common criminal. If I could leave, I would, but this key won't let me."
  3. Compass blinked, the moment she walked up the group dispersed. Frowning she went back to her seat and ate the pb and j, staring into nothingness. She was imagining getting to meet not only Princess Celestia with Brass Antique, but also Princess Luna. Both were very pretty. Maybe one day she, too, could be pretty like them. She realized she'd been chewing the same bite and swallowed before taking another, her cerulean eyes going out of focus once again as she chewed thoughtfully.
  4. Quite forgot. Sorry for lack of bold. Typed this on my phone. I can add it if need be on my laptop later.
  5. Compass Rose finished buying some supplies for the expedition. She knew she'd need rope, adding that as an afterthought. You always need rope. Stuffing her purchases in her saddle bag, after paying, the slender unicorn nodded thanks to the clerk before trotting outside. She's heard a few other ponies mention the town hall for the meeting place and made her way there, blowing a deep indigo lock of mane from a blue eye as she trotted. Soon she spotted a couple of pegasus and a unicorn talking, everypony else seemed to keep to themselves. Joining the group Compass Rose levitated an apple out of her saddle bag and munched on it, her lavender head moving as she looked around at everypony else.
  6. Compass Rose looked up, startled, when something landed on her desk. Thankfully it missed her statue, but she eyed it suspiciously before sniffing it. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, if her nose told her correctly. She stared at it, suspicious before shrugging and taking the bag with her to be near her fellow new filly and opening the bag.
  7. Compass Rose breathed a sigh of relief when it was announced that it was lunch time. She left the other ponies to bothering Shadow. When she said she'd leave him alone, she meant it. But she did stick her tongue out at him as she passed, putting her Princess Celestia statue away before looking in her bag for her lunch. "Mm, Don't tell me I forgot it. Again."
  8. I rejoined SL after years being inactive. Debating a pony avatar, though.
  9. "No, just me and this ke--" The last part of the word was cut off as the key made her move closer to the door. Now the unicorn was using her magic to try and control the key. Her magic was a deep pink in colour, enveloping the keyblade and her horn. "Do you know how to make this thing stop? Or even better, what it is?"
  10. Compass Rose went bright red, her ears flattening. "S..sure, Miss Cherrilee." Slowly the unicorn slid out of her seat and took the statue up front with her. She sat the statue in front of her, prodding it with her horn so that it sparkled and sat behind it. "Th..This is a statue of Princess Celestia, My Uncle Brass Antique bought it for me after he met her." The young filly gulped, her ears still flat. "He..He was doing the decorations for a huuuge party and she thanked him. So, since I didn't get to meet her, he bought me this." By now she was shuffling her front hooves, her cerulean eyes on the statue. "He says next time he meets her I can go and he'll buy me a Princess Luna statue." The small unicorn poked it with her horn again, this time getting it to spin and play a sweet song, much like a music box.
  11. Compass Rose gets a chance to catch her breath, her sides heaving as the key lets her put some room between her and the door. She can now hear voices inside, even seeing an eye at the door. "Compass Rose. And I want this big key to stop throwing me at doors."
  12. Compass Rose shyly raised her hoof, settling back into her seat. She may as well get this over with. Though, from her staring intently at the statue, she was hoping her hoof would be overlooked.
  13. Compass snorted when Scootaloo mentioned kidnapping RainbowDash. That was one way to do it. But her attention went to the two ponies who were reduced to a fit of giggles, a brow raised. When the male was called, the unicorn turned her attention to the front of the class. When he mentioned goggles signed by the Wonderbolts, she stood up in her seat, her interest once more picqued.
  14. They'll just take some getting accustomed to. I think she looked lovely.
  15. Compass Rose had finally managed to pull herself and the large key from the door. She could feel a tug on it, still towards the door. Sighing the unicorn mare attempted to pull away, very obviously having something resisting and pulling the key towards the door. She manages to take a few delibarate steps back when the key gives another jerk. Once more the lavender pony crashes into the door, this time barely managing not to impale her horn. "OW," she tries to pull back, muttering at the key by now. "No. Bad huge key. No." Such tactics do no good, the key obviously senses something inside, Compass hoping it better be worth it. ((The key has decided Time's pocketwatch is treasure, since Compass can't control it yet. If anyone needed an explanation.))
  16. ((Flink, please. She's supposed to be at Mask's door...But sure.))
  17. Compass looked around the shop, ears flat as she did so. Someone had been here before her and they had basically ransacked the place. The unicorn fought back tears as she saw quite a few of her antiques broken, thrown around. For just a moment she sat on her haunches, taking it all in. What if they had taken the key? That had to be what they were after. The unicorn sighed, she had to at least look, and then find the key if someone did take it. Gathering her courage, Compass Rose stood and trotted to the display case. Oddly there were scratch marks, a few dents in the glass, but it had held up. She stared at the key inside, blinking in disbelief. She didn't know it could do that. Using her magic, a deep pink, she opened the glass and took the key. Like inher dream she gave it a few test swipes, marveling at how right it felt in her left hoof. A quick look around told her the shop was safe for now, until the key glowed indigo and lightly tugged on her magic towards the door. Frowning the unicorn followed it, dreading where it would lead her. It took some time for the key to lead her, somehow to a house on a cliff. The unicorn stared at it, ears flat. "Looks haunted to m--", the last bit cut short when the key jerked her, making her use her whole body to knock at the door, a loud "OW!" escaping her.
  18. Compass sighed with relief, so at least she wouldn't be a slug farmer. "Good. I don't want to be one. Would be horrible to get a cutiemark in slug farming."
  19. Compass Rose listened intently. It must be nice, really nice, knowing what you want the rest of your life to be like. Instinctively, she raises her hoof, "Have you ever met anypony who's destiny was to be a slug farmer?" She frowned, "I don't want to be a slug farmer."
  20. Compass Rose woke with a start, a little drool on the book she'd been reading. Looking around she frowned, muttering about the dream she'd had. Apparently she was supposed to use the large key she'd found, not sell it which was her first instinct. Putting the book up, seemingly more calm than she felt she gave a nod to the librarian pony and left the library. Once outside, though, the unicorn's calm facade dropped with her running full throttle to her home and antique shop. The pony was yelling, loudly, not bothering to say excuse me if someone decided not to get out of her way. "NOT GOOD. NOT GOOD. NEED THE KEY. MOVE OUT OF THE WAY!" She barrelled past anypony who didn't move, finally deciding to use her magic to move them gently out of the way. It wasn't until she almost ran into the ornate door to "Brass COmpass" did she slow, disappearing inside to find the key her dream had centered around.
  21. Compass looked around, realizing she had blanked out. Again. She looked for Neon, spotting her before blushing. "Quite sorry, Miss Neon. I am Compass Rose." The unicorn looked around, confused before shaking her mane from her eyes, "I seem to have zoned out, I was thinking of a great story for this lovely pocket watch I acquired."
  22. Name: Compass Rose Age: Young Mare Gender: Female Species: Unicorn Keyblade (If you have one.): True Guidance. A keyblade that's rather weak for physical attacks, best used for magic. The keyblade allows the owner of it to find rare and useful things. Adding to Compass' talents. Cutie mark: A gold and black compass rose with two circles behind it. The outer circle is a deep indigo colour, the inner a dark purple. Appearance: Compass Rose is taller than the average pony and a little slimmer. Her coat is a light shade of lavender and rather well kept. Her mane and tail are both very curly, even having ringlets. It consists of three streaks, first a deep indigo, a dark purple, and another of deep indigo. Her eyes are cerulean. Backstory: Compass Rose was rather oblivious to the events before now, having been away looking for antiques. It was during these travels that she found her keyblade. She thinks she found it in a dream, but she could have found it in an old dusty tomb. Though, the antiques dealer is more convinced the key is nothing more than another pretty trinket to be sold. The poor mare has a few things to learn, especially that some things you should keep and not pawn them off to the highest payer. Knows Time and how: Not applicable.
