1. "I know the perfect place!" he informed Cloud. "It's much better for a battle. I'm Ink Runner, and just follow me!" He then proceeded to gallop at full speed towards a nearby field. Using his magic, he magnified his voice and called over too Cloud: "The battle will be a one on one, and it'll be over when one Pokemon is unable to battle!"

2. "Yay!" he said, levitating the Pokedex over to him and activating it while pointing at his Torchic.

"Torchic, the Chick Pokemon. Torchic sticks with its Trainer, following behind with unsteady steps. This Pokémon breathes fire of over 1,800 degrees F, including fireballs that leave the foe scorched black. It's known moves are Scratch, Peck, Ember and Focus Energy."

"Great! Torchic, ride on my back." he said to it. Torchic jumped on his back, then Ink Runner began to gallop towards the pony named Cloud. "Wait up! I wanna have a battle with you!"

3. "Omigosh, Omigosh, Omigosh, Omigosh!" he gasped. Dashing over to the table, he quickly used his magic to levitate a Pokeball. Regaining a calm posture, he threw it up in the air, and watched as it burst open.

A blue light came from inside, and Ink watched as it slowly took form, finally solidifying into a Torchic.

"It's the exact one I wanted!" he said. Jumping over to it, he embraced it in his hooves and gave it a hug. "You and I will be best friends!"

Taking a deep breath, he turned around to Professor Rowan.

"When will we get our Pokedex's? Every trainer has one." he enquired.

4. Ink Runner barely glanced as one of the other ponies trotted out, but merely ran over to the seat in front of Professor Rowan.

"Hello, Professor Rowan!" he said. "Sorry for my impatience when I ask this, but when will we get our Pokemon? What ones are there? Do we get a Pokedex?" He stopped his train of thought, and merely looked at the Professor and waited for his reply eagerly.

5. Ink Runner fell off his bed, and awoke with a throbbing pain at the back of his head. Slowly getting up, he glanced at his Exploud alarm clock. He was late! Quickly levitating a bag packed beforehand, he jumped downstairs, and quickly started munching on some salad prepared without a care in the world. Muttering a quick goodbye to his mother, he opened the door, then bolted right back inside. Levitating a Journal over to him, he quickly put it in his bag to keep a log of things, he grabbed his Trainer ID Card, then bolted outside after picking up a water bottle.

At a full gallop, he raced towards the Pokemon Research Lab, banging in to many ponies, only quickly saying "Sorry." As the lab came into view, he activated his horn and teleported nearer to it, before opening the door and running inside.

"Sorry I'm late!" he called, stopping abruptly when he realised 4 other ponies were already there. "Shoot! Too late."

7. Once Ink had calmed down, he slowly walked back. Turning his head around the corner, he noticed the two ponies and dragon talking easily. Trotting up to them, he bowed his head in apology and spoke:
"Terribly sorry, Huscarl, It's just not everyday I see a teenage dragon, y'know." With a horrible blush, he quickly added: "I'd be happy to help you find whatever it is, I know my way around here. Oh, and really quickly..." he trotted over to the "D" section, then quickly levitated it into his bag. "I needed that book!"
8. Ink heard the words behind him, and slowly turned around, and found himself face-to-face with a dragon.
"DRAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNN!!"
he screamed, dashing out of the section, stopping only by Three Cloud and Regal Steel, to quickly say;
"Run! Dragon!" He knew it was a bit mean to do this, but dragons were just... scary. So he had to run!
9. "Hm..." Ink said. "It must be another pony! And it sounds as if they are looking for a book... So let's go help them!" Ink reared up, then dashed in the direction of the sound; the Archives Section. Once he was at the section, he jumped and skidded round the corner.
"Hey? You okay?" He called, peering at him. He quickly looked at his list. "Oh, another book is here!" He happily neighed, before looking around, completely forgetting his company completely while looking.
10. "I-i wanted to go to the fiction section...." He heard the little pony say as he used his spell.
"Wow..." Three Cloud said. "I wish I can do that." Ink turned round to look at the pony,
"You will be able too; just be sure to study and practise." Ink replied, winking at him. "I'm Ink Runner. And you said you wanted the fiction section? That's no problem at all! But first..." Ink activated his horn, levitated a roll of parchment, bottle of ink and Quill from his saddlebag, then conjured an image into the air. The image was, in fact, a map of the library. He had taken a map home one day, and had memorised it. He scribbled down lines and squares, triangles and circles, until finally he was done. Levitating one over to Three Cloud, he then proceeded to scribble one down and give it to Miss Regal Steel.
"There you go; now you'll never get lost in here." Ink said happily. "Anyway, the fiction section is over here; follow me!" Ink then proceeded to trot down the bookshelves and turn a corner, waiting for them to catch up before going further.
11. "Yes, terribly so." he heard her say, "I am Regal Steel, and this is Three Cloud." Ink dipped his head in acknowledgement then smiled at Three Cloud.
"Please tell me you know your way around." Ink heard, and turned around to meet her, an amused smile on his face.
"Your asking me if I know my way around?" He asked. "That's like asking me if I know how to breathe. This is my favourite spot in all of Canterlot, and as such, I know this place like the back of my hand! Now, if you don't mind, I'll show you where you want to go once I've grabbed this book..." Ink walked up and down the bookshelf, skimming and scanning for "Advanced Metal Transfusions." Finding it on the top shelf in the "A" section, he levitated it down and into his saddlebag, then checked it off on his check-list.
"Done! Now where did you want to go?" He asked, turning to face Regal Steel and Three Cloud, closing his saddlebag, but then catching looking at the heavy book on Regal's back.
"My, my!" Ink gasped. "That book looks heavy! Hmm.. I actually learned a spell recently that reduces the weight of objects; I can only do it on small objects, and that book looks small enough!" Ink activated his horn, and the book was then encased in a glow of dark-blue, and a bright flash erupted from it. As it fell to the floor, Ink levitated it up and tested it's weight.
"Light as a feather!" he remarked, "D'you wish to carry this? If not, I insist I carry it. Really, it's no bother."
12. Ink trotted through the lobby and into the huge Canterlot Library - home of all knowledge. Ink jumped up and down. He was going on a massive book quest today. Activating his magic, he opened his saddlebag and looked at the books he was going to be getting.
"First off, I need to get to the fiction section and find 'Daring Do and the Griffon's Goblet.' I still don't know where I placed it..." Ink mumbled to himself. He had lost his copy of the book, so he had come to the library to get it.

Due to the fact he always came here at least once a week, he knew by instinct where most things were. Humming to himself, he ran over to the right-hand side of the Library, through the Potion section, and into the Fiction section. Looking around at the many books on display, he found the "D" books, and found the book he required.
Opening his saddlebag, he levitated the book inside, closed it, and took out his check-list. With a touch of his magic, a red tick lay inside the square of "Daring Do". Next was a Metallurgy book - "Advanced Metal Transfusions." He hastily ran over to the section, and heard voices.
"Perhaps this way?" he heard a voice say - presumably female.
Poking his head round, he saw a purple and gray mare, talking to a little lost-looking pony.
"Are any of you lost?" He asked walking over to them.
13. Ink Runner stepped out into the bright sunlight of a typical day in Canterlot. Ponies bustled aroud him, bursting out of houses and running to wherever they needed to be. Ink looked over to his mailbox, and noticed an envelope sticking out of it. Levitating it over to him, he pulled the message inside, grinned then headed back in.

Over at his desk, he levitated his quill into a bottle of red ink and began to write:

Hi there! Thank you for choosing One Plus Another, Equestria's choicest blind-date and matchmaking service! Species preference (Optional) : Unicorn or Pegasus.

Cutie-Mark (Optional) : Roll of Parchment & and a bottle of ink

How would you describe yourself, physically?

I am a stallion, slightly more powerful than the average one though. I have emerald green eyes, and a dark

blue coat. My mane is a light grey, that slightly spikes out on my back and head. My tail is also light grey, kept

short as if a tuft of fur, due to my personal preference. I'm healthy and very handsome, and keep myself

presentable at all times - even though I don't fuss over my clothes and such..

How would you describe your personality?

I am independant most of the time, and never like to see things sad or hurt - I just don't.

I'm generally calm, smart and resolved. I have a fair bit of pride, am kind and friendly,

and also quiet. I'm never afraid to speak my mind, however I do keep my mouth shut

if I sense it's a bad thing to say. I despise immature behaviour in fellow stallions - I

feel such behaviour should never be seen on such characters. However, I do have a sense of humour.

I am also caring and understanding, and always forgive and forget.

What things in life are important to you?

Important things in my life include my family and friends, due to them always being there for me. I love animals

of all kinds, and I hold my stories and writing hobby dear to me. I hold my dream of becoming a renowned

author very close to me, and hope to one day inspire all with my books, and also give everyone some

form of entertainment.

What's your idea of the ideal first date?

My idea of a perfect first date would be one in a fancy restraunt, where most were sophisticated, or

a lovely night stargazing while having a picnic. Gala's, Ball's and Parties would be nice too. I would

also enjoy something casual and fun too - like bowling. Anything, really, as long as my lady would

be happy.

What are you looking for?

An elegant and sophisticated mare, but one who also has a good sense of humour, and can

take things lightly, at the very least some of the time. One who is kind, caring and understanding,

They should be acting around their age, and have some basic knowledge in everyday things.

I would hope they value their family very much, and always want the best for me and any others.

One who is childish and silly is one I do not wish to be near - I am dignified and sophisticated.

While I do have humour, it is not one to be easily shown, unless I am very close with the pony.

Anything else you think we should know?

Nothing much, apart from the fact that I'm fine with media and other forms of entertainment.

You're done! Just mail this to Matchie at One Plus Another, 413 Saltyhoof lane, Fillydelphia, EQ, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can! Have a wonderful day!

Ink reviewed his answers, nodded, then sealed it shut then sent it off. Now, he could only wait.

14. Hmm, my one real problem with the app is that the history doesn't seem to cover much beyond his childhood. The character is an adult stallion as indicated by the listed age; perhaps you could tell us more about him as an adult. He found his own home; that's all we really know. The occupation field also lists him as an aspiring writer. Does this mean he hasn't had anything published yet? Does he plan to in the future? What kind of stories does he or has he specifically written before anyway? What does he do in the mean time to support himself if not writing? It just seems slightly incomplete at this point. Expand here and you should be on your way to a stamp. ;)

Alrighty! I've expanded on his history up to where he is now, and spaced it out a bit for easier reading.
