  1. Today, to put it simply, is perfectly marvellous. Crystal Dawn thought, rolling over on the cloud. "It's scheduled for blue skies and fluffy white clouds, so I'd say it's an ideal time for a short fly!" Talking to herself was not a rare occurrence, and those that knew her soon grew accustomed to her little oddities. She was bored, and had been since her fiancée left town for a little business two days ago. He was due home in another three days, but that short period of time seemed way too long without her fun loving partner. She lay back, hooves behind her head as she revelled in the comfort the cloud gave her. I'm going to stay here all afternoon, she thought fiercely, and prove to Kindle I can be normal for once. A normal pony would have taken advantage of this day to laze around outside, but her fiancée had joked in one of his letters that she wouldn't be able to stay on one cloud for more than five minutes in his absence.

Blast it all, he was right. She grumbled in good humour as she felt her wings cramping with the need to spread them and fly. Obliging with a sigh, Crystal dived headfirst off her former perch, laughing happily at the rush falling gave her, at the last minute before she faceplanted into her ground, her wings shot open. The momentum and sudden updraft against her wings propelled her in a wide arc heading for the sky. She came to a stop just at cloud layer, giggles escaping her at sporadic intervals as she surveyed the town, remnants of the adrenalin and joy that flowed through her veins. For a few moments, everything seemed normal, then she spotted something rather odd near Sugercube Corner. And by Celestia! It was a pony cantering towards the building itself! Was he mad? If he didn't stop in time, he was going to become a pony pancake against the wall.

Crystal immediately shot forward, both curiosity and horror mixing as the stallion drew closer to it. Then to her surprise, he climbed the wall as if it was nothing at all! Astonished by this sight, she glanced off a cloud by accident and found herself hurtling towards the roof at a steeper angle than she could have imagined. Crystal flapped her wings madly and managed to slow her descent until her landing was nothing but a short bounce and stop.

"Well," The pegasus eyed the other stallion, "what brings you to the roof on this fine day?"

  2. River listened intently to the story that they told, frowning slightly when it came to an end. So they existed, all because a pony, misunderstood as he had been, was spurned. She wanted to sympathise with the poor nightstallion, but she herself realized with a sinking feeling that it was quite similar to how she had reacted. To be honest, they were quite scary looking. And anyone who was not afraid at the initial sight was either foolish or incredibly brave. Amd yet those, like her initially, who judged based on their looks, were even more so.

  3. The filly's eyes opened wide in joy as she practically pounced on the reed pipe, before cradling it gently in her hooves. She inspected it carefully, and after brushing off some dirt, was pleased to find it unscathed. Her smile widened even more as she mouthed an enthusiastic thank you towards Krad, still somehow able to keep her rump on the ground.

Calming down somewhat, she tapped her pipe with a hoof before tapping her cutie mark, indicating that the three swirls represented the style of her music and her love for it.

  4. River grinned at Krad as he bumped her, and she attempted to shove him back equally as hard, but only rebounded. Disgruntled, she stuck her tongue out at him before trotting forward in an overly pompous fashion, nose high in the air and tail swishing in an exaggerated manner. After a few moments, her neck began to hurt, so she resumed her normal posture before keeping pace with the others. Once she was level with Krad once more, she raised her eyebrows quizzically, as if asking what sort of things did he pick up. There was a small flicker of hope that her reed pipe might just be in his possession.

They sat down in a small group, and River chose to sit beside Elphaba, leaning forward slightly.

  5. Come one, come all!

Bring your most angsty ponies, Mary Sues and Gary Stus, snowflake ponies and overwhelmingly gifted and lovable ponies! In this (to be planned) RP, all those cliches and overused tropes shall come to life before your very eyes!

Abandon all thoughts of reality or rationality as you roleplay from anything from the school queen pony to the shy (but secretly gorgeous) nerd. If you so desire, you can even have love triangles at every corner, love octagons if you must!

On a more serious note, this RP will just be a silly, light hearted one that pokes fun at some overused plots, cliched and such. It should not be taken seriously and you are free to be as dramatic as you can be. Anypony interested?

Also, do note that even though your characters will be of terrible quality, a certain standard of RP must be upheld, eg- Proper sentence formatting, correct use of punctuation and proper spelling (text speak is overrated!) and try to minimise your spelling errors, though a few here and there are acceptable ^^ Have as many charries as you wish, just remember to post something about them in here.

    Cliche/Trope/Tragic or perfect backstory:

Fill that in and you should be fine! ^^

  6. River perked up slightly as Necro mentioned something about their cutie marks. She turned her head around to gaze at her flank, beaming when she saw the familiar blue spirals adorning her coat. At least she still had one thing that was truly her own, her pipe having been lost in the forest in her wild and admittedly careless dash into the forest earlier. She felt a pang of pain as she thought about the instrument that she had made herself, River reassured herself by promising to search for it later when she got the chance to. And if she couldn't find it, she could make a new one. Perhaps one with bigger holes, since her hooves weren't as small as they were when she had made it. If she asked nicely, her sister might even spare some of that special waterproof varnish she used on her jewellery.

Lost in her thoughts and plans, she only noticed that they had started leaving when the sound of clopping drifted by her ears. She ran over behind them quickly, a new bounce in her step. Perhaps tonight was indeed a blessing in disguise, for not only did she meet new friends, she also gained an opportunity to improve her musoc.

  7. River beamed broadly when Krad finally regained consciousness. For one scary moment, the filly had thought him to be dead. He had just been lying there, so deathly still save for the rise and fall of his chest and shoulders. She was sure she didn't want to witness anything like that again. River was sitting a little ways behind Nao, but could still see the smile that those two shared. It was then that she realized that she hardly felt any fear for Nao, maybe even Necro. In spite of the initial hostility and rather morbid occupation, they were really just like other ponies- doing what they had to to survive. They had personalities hidden underneath their manes of fire and sharp deadly teeth.

River often tried never to judge by the cover, but she hadn't realized how hard it was to do so until tonight.
