1. "Well," said Five-Star, glancing around quickly, "That would depend on the kind of setting you like! hoof20 is a modular system, fitted with countless worlds to adventure in. Would you be a space marine, fighting in the stars on giant spaceships? Or would you be the classic knight in shining armor, or maybe the ruthless assassin? Why, you could even be the CEO of a company, hoping to gain a monopoly of the market! The possibilities are endless!" He seemed a bit excited at that point, but quickly regained his sense of calm. "On the other hand, are you more of a strategic pony? I have wargames aplenty, all ready to be taken home! Oh, and we're having a sweet promotion. For every Warhoof 40k product you buy, you get a random minifig, free of charge." He smiled happily, enjoying the opportunity to spread the idea of roleplaying. He was even getting a new customer, he hoped.
2. "It's fine, no worries! A D20 is a 20 sided die. Like a D12 is a twelve-sided die, or a D6 is a 6-sided die. As for an RPG for a beginner, I would recommend the "hoof20" system. It's simple and easy to learn, and requires little to no preparation. Feel free to browse the store and read the books!" Five-Star said before he walked over to a large shelf. "Let's see here, what would you like..." He began shuffling through book after book, skimming the first chapters. Eventually, he triumphantly held up a book, which read "hoof20 Core Book" and pictured several ponies battling a large manticore. "If this is too complex, I could always suggest "Muffin Wuffin," it's the simplest book in the store, albeit difficult to read." Five-Star smiled as he talked, pacing the room and admiring the many books and minifigs.
3. "Oh, hello!" said Five-Star, looking up. The minotaur smiled warmly and got up from his chair in a somewhat tired manner. He got out from behind the counter, walking over to the grey unicorn. "Welcome to Rush Tactics! I'm Five-Star, the owner. How can I help you?" He said happily, extending his hand in greeting. He wore his normal clothes, for he had forgotten to put on his cosplay stuff that morning. It felt kind of weird, not being dressed like some other thing. He shrugged it off and looked behind him, making sure that the entire store was perfect. As per usual, it was. Everything was organized by alphabetical order, and then sorted by colour and type.
4. A hobby store owned by a minotaur named Five-Star. He will often be seen playing strategy games with customers, while one of his assistants works behind the counter. He still works there, though, and thus he (reluctantly) has to man the cash register from time to time. It was 8 AM and he had no customers since he opened up at 5 for Early Bird Gaming. This was getting weird. He fiddled with his minifigs as he glanced boredly around the dimly-lit room, which barely had any walking space between the shelves. I’ll be back tomorrow!” Five-Star merely nodded as the unicorn pony dressed in cosplay armor left the store.Five-Star was completely alone in the shop now.
5. Tapping into the memories of his new form, Swift replied "A734B12X13" which he knew was correct.
6. Seeing the problem, Swift decided that he had to do something he REALLY didn't want to do. He became a changeling. This was especially dangerous, since he was now susceptible to Chrysalis' control. He had to get this done fast. He flew as fast as he could, transforming into a gang member and knocking on the door.
7. Swift killed one of the pegasus criminals criminals and raised him as a skeleton. "After them." He said coldly as the undead equine took flight.
8. ((Sorry for the wait!)) Five-Star slumped down in his room and studied his Warhoof 40k books until morning, at which point he sipped some coffee and read them some more. Still with his undead timber wolf, Swift tracked down the kidnappers. He listened to find what was happening. "Well... This isn't good..." he thought as he patched up the wolf's looks, only to find the poor wolf had turned to dust on the inside. A few seconds later, the skin followed, too. "Well, its up to me..." He said quietly out loud as he kicked down the door, flinging skulls with terrifying force from his backpack.
9. Swift refused and carried on, mainly due to the fact that he had no bags for the bellhop to carry. Five-Star, on the other hand, dumped a bag full of 50 throwing knives, 5 shortswords, 77 bottles of poison, and 473 steel minifigs. He decided to carry the 47 rulebooks by himself.
10. "Well folks, looks like we have a new honorary member! Cheers to our new Alchemist!" Said Five-Star as he took a sip from his canteen. "A town, you say?" said Swift, obviously interested. "Let's go. Five-Star, come along. We don't know what kind of stuff lurks around here at night..."
11. "Most interesting!" said Swift, obviously excited to speak with someone of such a skeletal appearance.
12. Not a problem, I'll get to work right away!
